I don't know what to say... You know, this is why I write fiction. It's so much easier than finding interesting things to say about myself.
Because, actually, I'm not that interesting. I read everything. And I mean everything. And then I write things.
Ask one of my friends what I'm like, and they'll tell you I'm a walking encyclopedia. And yes, I do know that. Because they say it to me. I would like to be an interesting person. But I'm not.
But don't let that put you off reading my stuff (if I ever do anything good enough to put on). It's more interesting than me. (although mostly I'm on here to read stories by the multitude of much more talented paople around!)
Summary: This story is set in the dystopian society of Wizarding England under the control of Voldemort. Fifteen years after leaving Hogwarts, Harry Potter is in hiding; he fears the words of the Prophecy and has lost the will to fight. This story tells the tale of an adult Hermione who sacrifices everything: her family, her moral beliefs and eventually her dignity, in order to save the Wizarding world. She becomes a Death Eater under the recommendation of someone she barely trusts. She struggles to find the courage and strength, but with every choice she makes she gets deeper and deeper into danger.
Chapter 33 is finally up. Thank you for your support and patience..
wow. awesome story.
i suck at writingf reviews...
Summary: *Last chapter is up!* Due to a mishap in Charms class, James and Lily are taken away to Harry's time, only to meet Ron and Hermione. Kept hidden away from Harry by his two best friends, Ron lets something slip about Harry, James and Lily's relationship. Will James and Lily find out about their son, or at least before Remus, Sirius and Peter in the Marauder era figure out a way to bring them back? Includes people turning into ducks, Monty Python quotes and lots of Marauder goodness. PLEASE R & R- Hint, this does not mean read and run!
OK...Is it that Monty Python drives people insane, or that insane people are attracted to Monty Python? Because judging from this story...you are insane. Very insane. Awesomely insane, in fact.
Summary: COMPLETED! When Harry goes to Uncle Vernon's work for the summer, odd things happen, including beating Ron at drill questions, sending millions of letters to Vernon and making Dudley wear a cotton candy outfit!
you are insane! In a good way.
Summary: Sirius Black has just lost everything in his life worth living for...now all he wants is revenge. (Takes place after the Potters' death) Rated for some violence and language. One-shot.
OK, you just made me cry. Well done.
That was amazing. There is no other word for it.
I'm going to go away and cry and feel inferior now.
Summary: Hermione goes back in time with one mission: to kill Tom Riddle before he ever comes to power. A difficult task, correct? An impossible one, she realizes, as a love between them grows stronger than anything she has ever known. Now Hermione has a choice to make. Will she condemn the Wizarding world to almost certain destruction, or will she take the life of the one boy she has ever loved?
This is abso-bloody-lutely awesome!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Hope you keep enjoying it.
oh god, hurry up!
Summary: Originally for October Challenge 6: Romance: write a 'ship you don't necessarily support. In his fourth year, Draco discovers that the Malfoy prejudice against Weasleys may have a flaw. Alternate warning: outright lewd.
you know...that was actually kinda convincing? wow... the ferret and the weasel, huh?
Author's Response: Thanks! The ferret and the weasel, indeed. I think they\'re really cute together.
Summary: Tonks is rich in family and friends, but the wages of a new Auror keep her short of funds. A side job brings something into her life money can't buy.
*Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance- Canon.*
Author's Response: That\'s exactly the reaction I\'d hoped you\'d have. Thank you for sharing it with me! : )
"you look as if flobberworms are crawling out of my ears"?
Author's Response: Thank you! I live to make readers smile, so you\'re keeping me going, lol. ^_^
Summary: ONE SHOT. Luna Lovegood finally realises the answer to a problem that has puzzled her for years. A short songfic about love, loss and letting go. Written for the SQ Songfic challenge.
That was a really good story. Lovely original idea, and Luna is a great character, so it was really great to read a proper, serious story about her.
Summary: "Perhaps there was such a thing as being too much of a gentleman." After giving Tonks an ultimatum, Remus finds faith, not drowning sorrows with Sirius, is the only thing that makes waiting bearable.
Awesome! I just read both...and love 'em!
Only problem is my usual one with Remus/Tonks...jealousy. And the better the writing, the more jealous I get...so you will be pleased to know that the fact I now feel VERY jealous of Tonks (yes, I am sad, I am jealous of a fictional character...) means both this and "Moon" were VERY good!
Author's Response: Thanks! But when you read, you are her, so you\'re actually jealous of yourself! LOL
Mother always said he would live a dog's life, wretched and ignoble. Lying before the fire with a lovely woman running her fingers through his hair, Sirius made a sound of deep contentment. The battleaxe had been dead wrong. It was good to be Snuffles.
Aaaaw... such a pity...
Author's Response: He needs love, doesn\'t he? That\'s why I\'m happy to give it to him in later chapters and one shots, lol.
Summary: "He didn't have a plan, but that had never stopped him before."
After 'Snuffles' is revealed to be a fugitive Animagus, Sirius must convince the woman he loves to make him her most wanted.
Outtake to chapter 11 of A Wolf in the Moonlight
So sweet...*soppy look*
But Sirius romance makes me cry...
Author's Response: If I didn\'t give him a romance, if I made him fall through the veil in my story without ever having a real love, I would cry like I did reading OotP, thinking it was such a tragedy, for that reason, for Sirius\' sake, even more than Harry\'s. Sigh
Summary: Remus awakes the morning after Halloween of '81 to find his world changed.
Absolutely heartbreaking. I've read lots of similar fic, but that is the first one to actually make me cry...probably because there's just the right level of R/S love in there that it's heartbreaking, but not enough to make it melodramatic.
It\'s so appreciated when people recognize the balance that such a fic requires to be more Angsty and less wangsty, so thank you very much
Summary: After Sirius Black's betrayal, Remus wonders why he did what he did and if, indeed, he is entirely to blame.
Written by Morwen of Ravenclaw for the Monthly Poetry Contest Challenge 1- "Apathy is lethal".
This is awesome. I don't know how to say how good it is. Al ot of people write about my favourite characters, and I think, no, that's wrong, but this is perfect
Summary: *Runner Up in the 2006 Annual Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Dark/Angsty*
It's the one thing everyone must do. You can't avoid it, you can't bargain with it, you just do it. It hurts sometimes, hell, it hurts most of the time, but it's also the most natural thing in the world. One of those rare things that makes us human.
This story is included in the Epilogues story arc, however it is a side story that can be read at just about any time. it is most favorable, however, to wait until reading Epilogues Part I for certain thematic reasons.
oh my god. That is the saddest thing ever. I am actually crying here.
Author's Response: I would only leave a response like this if I were as drunk as I currently am. GOOD! I\'m glad you cried. I cried my ass off, and I happen to have a high enough opinion of myself to think that if I am feeling something emotionally, I can transfer that into prose, and therefore make other people cry. This was a severely emotional experience for me, and I\'m elated that it was for you as well. Now, if you thought it was that good, why not add it to the nominations it has already received for a quicksilver quill? Okay, sobering myself long enough to say: Thank you ever so much for the review, I truly appreciate it.
A poem about the kinds of warmth Sirius experiences in Azkaban, in hiding, and in his lover Cami's arms. Inspired by my RLNT fics and the one-shot A Moment Like This.
Author's Response: Merci! for the compliment and thanks for the review! ^_^
April showers bring May...hassles? Bridesmaid blues and big trouble from small favours complicate Tonks' life when all she wants is to bring her love for Remus into full bloom.
I never saw the Troll-speak in LotR...Aren't I unobservant...
Fortune cookies = brill
Author's Response: It\'s in the books, but Tolkien \"translated\" into English so often only a list of words is left. It was definitely fun to use in the story, so thanks for liking it!
I never saw the Troll-speak in LotR...Aren't I unobservant...
Fortune cookies = brill
Author's Response: Your reviews = smiles. Thanks! ^_^
of course we want to see where they go on their honeymoon...at least I do. Badly.
Author's Response: Bless you for that- I\'d cry if you didn\'t. :D I\'m happy to say Butterfly Summer is in the queue!
