Hey, love your story. Humor and suspense all in one! I can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: Yup, humor and suspense make a great combination. Glad you like it!
Summary: Sense: a word of so many meanings. This is a story about senses. The common sense notion of self preservation that is lost when friends are in need, the senses of the body that can be damaged so easily, and the intuitive senses of the heart that tell you when things have changed. R/Hr focused with a little bit of H/G, not a lot of fluff, with rotating views between the characters on a truly horrific day.
Quicksilver Quills Runner-Up - Best Romance, Canon
Just wanted to say I love your story. It has a perfect balence of romace, action and suspence, I've got to say it's the best fan fic I've ever read.
Author's Response: *falls off chair* wow... thank you so much!
Summary: What do you do when you’ve lost the person you love more than anything else in the world? After Harry’s death, Ginny struggles to move on and completely refuses to talk at all. Can her friends help her?
This is great. Really great. I think you captured Ginny's feelings very well. I personally like the way you had Harry die.
Author's Response: Thank you! I don\'t think that Harry will die fighting Voldemort, so I didn\'t want him to in my story. I\'m glad you liked it! ~JBV
Summary: "It was dusk, and Ron and Hermione had just turned up in the common room, pink-faced from the cold and looking as though they'd had the time of their lives."
--Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, American hardcover edition, page 157
Have you ever wondered what exactly made Ron and Hermione's day so perfect? It couldn't have just been the sheer fun they had from going to the village to make it the day of their lives...maybe there was something more...
This is one of the most in-character Ron/Hermione stories I've ever read (and I've read alot) It is my favorite so far. I hope you write a sequal to it sometime.
Author's Response: thank you so much! I might go and do a sequel...who knows?
Summary: Andromeda takes a young Tonks to the beach. She quickly finds herself exhausted and falls asleep. Tonks decides to explore on her own. She meets someone her mother never expected her to meet.
I must say that I love the way you portray Andromeda. She makes me think of my own mother when I was Nymphadora's age. And Bella's speech was amazing. In your response to another reveiw, you mention that "this takes place shortly after a traumatic event in Bella's life," and I think that just really makes it even more touching.
Author's Response: I\'m glad that you liked it. Somehow, writing this one just came naturally. I hardly had to think about it at all, except when I was trying to get the commas in the right place.
About Bella\'s traumatic event, I was actually disappointed that I couldn\'t get it to fit in the story, but as it was in Tonks POV there was no way to include it.
Anyway, thanks so much for the review and I\'m glad that you enjoyed the story.
Summary: One-shot. Two parts, first Ron/Hermione, then Harry/Ginny. Both parts take place at sunset after Bill and Fluer's wedding.
This is my first fan fiction on these boards, so please read and review!
In a word... wow. I love your imagry, and not having any dialogue really adds to the effect. again, wow.
Author's Response: Thank you! I do love a good wow.
Summary: A short One-Shot from Neville's perspective on Dumbledore's death, the Second War, and Luna's accusatory eyes and curious lips.
I must say that I posetively love your interpritation of Neville/Luna. I was skimming through the other pairing fics, and I'm so happy I found this. The sadness of it all... There needs to be more fics like this.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Summary: During the battle that defeated Voldemort Hermione was badly injured. Now three years later she is living with her younger sister in America and no longer remembers that she was once a witch, or her once best friends. Then one night the man who lurks in her dreams steps out of the fog insisting that she is in danger. Now if she wants to save herself and her family she must return to the world she no longer remembers or understands. While there she starts to see bits and pieces of a pasts she doesn't remember but was obviously part of.
Chapter 5 comming soon!!!
Can also be seen on HPFF by Secret_Lover who is...ME again!
Wow, this an awesome story. It's very well writen, you're doing a great job. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for chapter three.
Author's Response: O.o thanks you very much! I am just trying to get it beta-ed and it will be up! I promise! :D Thanks for the review they are much appreciated!
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.
WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.
RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!
Hey, just reveiwing to say I love your story, especially Your Lucius and Snape. Voldemort is so funny when he's written right.
Author's Response: Hey, thank you! But your last sentence perplexed me... Voldemort is so funny when he\'s written right? Is my Voldemort really the way you imagine the guy when you read the books? Because if so, THAT\'S AWESOME! For some reason, I\'ve never taken Voldemort seriously. I don\'t really know why. He kind of makes me giggle a little.
Summary: Three-year-old Draco goes trick-or-treating for the first time. His mother takes the opportunity to teach him some lessons and Malfoy family values that she believes will be important to her son later in life. This depiction of Draco is VASTLY different from the version of him that I write in "The Dark Lord's Blog."
Ridiculously short one-shot.
Wow, I really love your little Draco. And how Narcissa seems like such a good mother if you ignore the descrimination... it's perfectly realistic... well, as realistic as you can get.
Author's Response: Why, thank you! I\'m glad you liked it, and that my version of Narcissa worked. This is the shortest story I\'ve ever written.
Summary: Ron and Hermione were married, in love… and had even had a child.
But Voldemort had ripped it apart, just like he had so many other families. And Ron doesn’t know how to live with himself. He no longer has the will to live, no less survive normally. He means to Apparate to the Burrow, when something goes wrong.
He now walks along a deserted highway. He encounters a pair of Muggles, one of them in love with a car, and his girlfriend.
But then, he encounters something that he hadn’t anticipated. A pub, from the middle of nowhere at that, comes into existence. Ron finally realizes that life must go on, even if it is without your family.
This was originally written for the New Year's Challenge Contest, prompt, The Sign of the Green Dragon. I am Ron x Hermione, of Hufflepuff.
Oh, that ending was so unexpected. (No pun intended.) I can't belive Mark did that. What a bittersweet way to tie it off. Nice work!
Author's Response: I\'m sorry, but \"Huh?\" Are you sure that you reviewed the right story? Mark is in my other fic, The Unexplained Files. . . I think you\'re talking about the wrong story . . . ~Lindsey :)
Author's Response: And, now that I look, this is actually the first chapter, so there might not be an ending yet? ~Lindsey :)
