Summary:
Harry's life stands at a crossroads.
He is torn between a return to the only true home he as ever known or a dark and dangerous winding and twisting road through Horcruxes and ending with murder.
But can he become a murderer? Can he over come the Dark Arts, while dabbling within them? Will Ron and Hermione stand beside him on the road to doom? And if love is truly his greatest power then why did he let his only true love go?
To defeat evil, Harry must climb a mountain of dark Death Eaters and Ministry mayhem - but will he come out on top in the Final Battle?
Poor Harry. I'm curious as to why ginny was worried about Harry having a Dark Arts book; perhaps we'll find that out in the next chapter. I'm also wondering where the locket has gotten to. Well, I suppose we'll find out soon enough. Great chapter as always!
Author's Response: Yes, you\'ll find out in the next few chapters, dont worry. Cheers.
Harry Potter and the Seven-Year War by QwayMelqnu

Summary: Harry is steadfast in his decision to break up with Ginny Weasley, hoping that she will be kept safe from Voldemort's clutches, but unforeseen circumstances will push them back together sooner than anyone could have anticipated. Harry finally acknowledges his true feelings for her before setting out on the hunt for the Horcruxes, but unfortunately the subsequent war with Tom Riddle and his followers would end up lasting longer than anyone could’ve expected. Can Harry and Ginny’s love stand the test of time? And how far will Harry go to make sure they are given the chance to find that out?
Ooh...super-destructive Harry. This ought to be interesting. But how does he know where to go to? The letter didn't really say. I feel that he'll probably be using a lot of Darkweaving and destructive spells to deal with anyone who gets in his way. Let's hope they haven't actually hurt Ginny yet, or who knows what he'll do.
Author's Response: He has no clue where to go, and you\'ll see what he does in the next chapter. I hope you like it. Thanks for the review and thanks for reading. I\'ll try and keep you interested :)
Finally! I feel bad for Gavin and Susan, but it looks like they might be able to help each other out after all this. Now Harry and Ginny can grow closer again, and maybe together they'll defeat Voldemort. That's been my one issue with this fic; Harry discovers unbelievable power, knows where all the Horcrux are, but he doesn't finish off Voldemort. Unless the Death Eaters have been napping or something, people must be dying in this time. But whatever; I still love this fic. Thanks for getting us to this point, and I'll see you for the next chapter.
Author's Response: That was actually kinda the point when I came up with the idea for this one. Harry gets all powerful, but things keep happening to him that prevent him from taking full advantage of it. With his erratic emotions, his new powers, the situation with Susan and then Ginny. It just seems to drag things out unnecessarily, but I was also of the mind that Harry needed quite a bit of life experience before he was able to take on Voldemort and have a chance of beating him.
Oh, and the war is still going on this whole time. Death Eaters are attacking and Aurors are fighting, and lots of people are dying. It just hasn\'t been the focus of the story too much. Once I get closer to the final battle, the situation of the wizarding world after all these years will be painted a bit clearer.
Thanks for reading and thanks for the review!
Haha! That end scene was great! So anticlimactic, and that made it hilarious. I'm so glad Ron and Hermione have forgiven Harry, and that he and Ginny can have a conversation again. And those subtle hints that she may not be interested in Gavin long term, and Harry telling her he still loves her, is enough to deal with the drama between them at the moment. I'm glad to see this chapter. I hate mugglenet's update system (I get an email when you post the chapter, a week before the site will actually let me view it), and I can't wait to see how hunt goes for the next three! See you then!
Author's Response: Thank you! for commenting on that last scene. I\'m glad someone else saw it for how funny it was meant to be. Right from the beginning of writing this story, I knew I was going to be including the Horcruxes, but i wanted to find a way to take away the amount of \"screen time\" they occupied. I wanted to focus more on the characters than stuff like Horcrux hunting.
Unfortunately, that means that your anticipation of the hunt for the last three parts of Voldy\'s soul might not be as exciting as you expect. But I promise to try and make it as unique as possible. Thanks for the review!
Ginny's an empath; she has to know that man was trying to trick them, so they're probably aware they're walking into a trap. Now I'm really eager to see how that goes! Awesome chapter as always!
Author's Response: Keep in mind, that Ginny is still new at this "power" thing. I may give our favorite quartet these amazing powers, but they are still just human beings and they can still make mistakes. You can have all the power in the world, but if your mind and emotions are under stress, you can still make mistakes (that's how I'm writing it in this story anyway, lol).
Thanks for the review!
Oh, wow. I did NOT see that coming. I mean Susan appearing, not the kiss at the end; once he'd noticed her physique, I saw where it was going, but you definitely caught me by surprise. By now I feel bad. Susan seems really nice, and while I'm glad you'll be ending this Harry/Ginny, I don't want her to get hurt. Gavin, sure; he seems like a jerk, and it's obvious Ginny doesn't love him, but Susan's too kind to be hurt. Hopefully she makes it out of this ok. Now you've got me eager for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Good, I\'m glad I could surprise you. I take pride in doing the unexpected. And yes, Susan is and always will be the sweet girl that I\'ve portrayed her as... and it\'s unfortunate that her feelings might get hurt in the future... but hopefully I can pull it off with a few more surprises where those events are concerned.
I\'ll have the next chapter uploaded and awaiting approval within the next 24 hours. Thanks for reading!
Sweet. Sorting things out with Ginny should help Harry's concentration a bit. I'm interested to see what Essit will have to say about Harry's "split personlities". Thanks, and I look forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: Hopefully the direction I take with Essit will be satisfactory and somewhat original. Thanks for the review!
Hooray for updates! I feel horrible for Harry, having found out that Ginny's in a relationship, and Mrs. Weasley slapping him. But if Remus and Tonks adopt him, that'll lift his mood quite a bit. Granted, everyone else'll still be mad at him and Ginny will still be with someone else, but he'll finally have a family who've already forgiven him completely, and that's just what he needs right now.
Author's Response: Wow, you hit the nail on the head with this one. You took the words right out of my plot outline, lol. Thanks for the review!
Broken Souls by kingbobrules
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 260]
Summary: As the wizarding world rejoices, Harry’s never come so close to just giving up. But as he tries to walk away from Voldemort’s crumpled body, something stops him. Someone. Ginny.
But Harry’s a broken man. He’s in no state to deal with his feelings for Ginny or to give her the relationship she deserves and he tries to tell her that. But Ginny’s got something of her own to tell. Something that might just make Harry face up to his demons and stick around.
However, Harry’s not the only one struggling to cope. Ginny is on the verge of breaking down and fleeing herself, but will anyone notice in time? And what on earth is Ron going to say when he learns of his seventeen year old sister’s situation?
Extract: Truth to be told he didn’t really know how exactly you would classify things between him and Ginny at the moment, but he did know the lie of land. They were having a baby together.
This fic is finally back!!!
Oh man, that's absolutely terrible. Will Harry and Ginny ever get a moment of happiness? I'm guessing the Healer was a Death Eater, or one disguised as Harry. In any case, I really hope things cheer up soon. Surely Harry will find her in time to be there for his child's birth, right? Couldn't they just send her an owl and follow it? Owls can find people without knowing their location. Or maybe one of the Healers knows. Perhaps Ginny's been seeing a Healer secretly since she can't give birth alone, and Harry finds out and can convince the Healer to help him. In any case, I really hope things get better for them soon. Praying for a happier chapter 7!
Author's Response: Chapter 7 should B quite fluffy, but it may not last long...

Summary: Voldemort's gone....but the Death Eaters aren’t. Ron, Hermione, Harry and Ginny’s lives are completely changed when a mysterious girl appears, claiming to be from the future. But is she really who she says she is? And what has happened in the future that so desperately needs to be changed?

H/G and R/Hr
(DH spoilers are very minimal, just in terms of a use of a name- it doesnt follow canon storyline wise)Why is her heart breaking? They almost kissed; that's a good thing. I'd expect that's only going to give Harry hope, and he'll probably start trying to get closer to her.
On a separate note, happy holidays!
Author's Response: Happy Holidays! Im gonna explain better in the next chapter the reason why Ginnys so upset, hopefully that\'ll clear it all up. thank you for the review!
That Terrifying Momentum by Caleb Nova

Summary: The darkest summer reveals the strangest light. An AU sixth year with canon pairings.
This story amuses me to no end. I enjoyed seeing how Hermoine thinks (the language was of a much higher level), as well as Luna (I spent a lot of time laughing). I particularly enjoy Scott, both for his ability to view the war like any normal person would (strike back; you know where they live), and how he isn't afraid to talk back to and fight with the Slytherins. And I'm glad Harry's starting to grow from being around Scott. He doesn't react as much to the cursing, and he seems to be a lot less tense, enjoying his time more.
Author's Response: Hermione and Luna are surprisingly easy for me to write. I'm not sure why, since I've never been a sixteen or fifteen year old girl before and therefore can't really identify with them, but I guess I have solid concepts of who I think they are in my mind. Ginny is always the female lead who's a problem for me. I don't think I know her very well.
Scott sees the war as just another small scale conflict that can be solved with a few well chosen fatalities. He's been involved in so many that they've ceased to be anything out of the ordinary for him, and in his mind the Slytherins are nothing more than an annoyance and occasional stress reliever.
I'm really glad that you think Harry has been changed a little bit by Scott's presence. In the books it was always the more aggressive side of himself that he kept suppressed around Ron and Hermione, who were never very comfortable with it. Scott tends to encourage Harry's offensive tendencies, which makes him an immediate confidant for all the things that Harry never really shared with anyone else in the canon timeline. It's the fight more than anything else that brings the two of them together as friends. In Scott, Harry sees someone who is not only willing to lend a violence that might be necessary to the side of good, but just might be able to get Harry out of the whole mess alive.
Thank you very much for reviewing.
