All right, just for the fun of it, here is a little bit about me. Yes, I write HP stories. I do this as a bit of a break while I work on my own fiction. Yes, I think that J.K. Rowling rocks! To put it mildly. And thank you, Ms. Rowling, for letting me play with you toys!

Actually, I don't write YA on my own, which is part of what makes this so fun. It's a diversion, when I don't have to worry about what my characters are doing. Need a cure for writer's block? Borrow some vividly created characters, and plot with plenty of room for footwark!

In my spare time, I'm a starving artist. Once upon a time I ran, played basketball and tennis, and generally had a life. Oh, to have dreams! No, I'm not married, nor do I have any kids. Speaking of elusive dreams...ah well.

Thanks for dropping by, and my best wishes!

LOL! This explains a lot!:

It is Ginny's last year at Hogwarts, and the lessons she will learn are not restricted to books and classes. As she struggles to hold onto that which she holds most dear, the youngest Weasley will come to learn much about love, friendship, and herself.

This is the fifth story in the Epilogues story arc. If this is the first of my stories you have sat down to read, please read Right Here, One Good Day, and Epilogues Part I prior to reading this fic.

"Revising", or reviewing? :)

Thanks very much. I'll be looking forward to the next section.

Author's Response: There\'s the token criticism I\'ve been looking for. Actually, I\'ve been hounded by my english friends enough to know that when English people study, they call it revising, so I guess I just caved on that. Thanks for everything, and I\'ll see you for part III.

I could swear that i dropped a review for you when I read this a couple of weeks ago...

I hate to disappoint you, but I didn't think that it was that big of a cliffie. I trust Harry.

I do enjoy the story, but I do hope that you offer an explanation of how Rathius manages to appear so powerful. Yes, I would have put him beyond Dubledore--unless there is something that we don't know.

Stiil, you write very well. Trust me, I wouldn't be reading if you didn't :)

Thank you.

By the way, this is itended to be constructive criticism rather than simply "critical". ;)

Thank you.

Author's Response: I know it wasn\'t that big of a cliffie. When chapter eleven comes out I would like to see if people could guess what the original cliffie was supposed to be. Remember, I had to cut this chapter short because originally it was about four hundred words longer than the maximum allowed. About Rathius, for one, he is incredibly powerful, and we explain so far why he is as powerful as he is, and I kind of explain in the battle why he seems to transcend mere powerful and appears nearly godlike. His actual prowess stem from the fact that he is incredibly intelligent, and has dedicated his life to learning. Something we will see in Part III is that he owns his own library, lives there, and spends nearly every waking minute studying and experimenting. His power, therefore, has come from a lifetime of hard work and discipline. In the battle, what you have to realize is what Ginny realizes... The fear spell... His appearance, and some of the spells he casts are all affected by the fear spell that he casts at the beginning of the battle which makes things seem farworse than they truly are. And finally, never mind you about the criticism. You\'ve always given it, and I\'ve always accepted it happily. Thank you.

Thanks--looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Yup, you\'re definitely correct. I\'m not fixing it right now though because every time I try to edit a story, it ends up throwing in a million paragraph breaks that really annoy, so to fix somthing I usually have to wait until I\'m patient enough to deal with that. But thanks for letting me know and I\'ll fix it when I\'m ready for the ordeal. And thank you for the review, I\'m looking forward to the next chapter. Nearly to the bit where... Oh I shouldn\'t say.

Disappointed at no criticisms? Well, it is the holiday season. lol! The only thing that momentarily caught my eye was two Hosraces--but "Horace Huckleby" is a fine name.

It was, indeed, a well written chapter, and congratulations are in order for pulling that secondary cliffie out of your ummm...ear.

And I was amazed that you'd remember me. rotfl!

Thanks again, and Happy Holidays!

Author's Response: hehehe, you know, I didn\'t even realize until you brought it up the two Horaces. funny that. Anyway. Yes, of course I remember you, and thank you so much on the cliffie. Thank you again, and happy holidays to you too.

I have watched this storyline develop, and I have to admit to disappointment that6 the romance seems to be dominating other possible threads. I also wonder if Cho wouldf have docked points, or simply replied coolly. Ah well, you still write well. Thank you!

Author's Response: I hear your concerns, and am prepared for them (for once, I usually don\'t handle criticism so well). First, it\'s natural for the romance to dominate as this story was always intended to be a romance. That being said, I think you\'ll be happy to know that two thirds of the next chapter involves no romance at all (and it is a very long chapter, about ten thousand words). Being as this is a romance, though, I must admit that the only storyline I can guarantee will be tied up is the romance portion, which I hope to do to everyone\'s satisfaction. As for Rathius, which I\'m guessing is a big thread of which you speak, well, to be honest, I don\'t tie up his story line in the Epilogues series at all. Maybe. We\'ll have to wait and see. As for Cho, I\'ll admit to a few things here. For one, I demonize her a little bit, which is kind of silly because I nearly quit reading the books when Harry botched his chances with her. Still, this isn\'t Harry\'s story, it\'s Ginny\'s, and I can see Cho being something of an enemy. Also, we will actually see very little dialogue from Cho, as I\'m ending the story about two chapters shorter than originally planned. Cho really only serves one purpose in this story, and I felt late in the game that to try and drag her part in the story out would feel very artificial, and so there you go. So she may not have docked points, but I think I\'m making her a meaner character for my purposes. Sorry about that, but I guess it could be explained that in the time that has passed since her break upwith Harry, Cho may have gotten more and more bitter. Hope that helps. Thank you for the review, see ya next chapter.

;)

Not a bad secondary cliffhanger that you squeezed out there. Nice!

So, is Harry out of trouble? And is the final chapter submitted? ;)

Author's Response: Wow, I know I wrote a decent chapter when you don\'t have a criticism for me. Thanks, yeah, I squeezed that cliffie right out of my... er yeah. And yeah, I\'ll at least let out that Harry is out of trouble. Thanks for the review.

Author's Response: Well, she\'s given us a rich universe to play with! There are stories upon stories to tell. JKR holds up a mirror; shift the mirror and you get new perspectives. I\'m just glad she\'s so forgiving of us fanfic writers; there are so many who discourage fan writing.

Loved it!!! The only request...play out the transition of Snape er..."shifting gears" just a little bit more. Otherwise--wonderful!

Author's Response: *ponders* It\'s possible, I guess, but I think ultimately he\'d downplay it. All he has to do is convince her; I just don\'t see him hamming it up at all once he\'s got her on the hook. I mean, let\'s face it, the Snapester\'s no \"drama queen.\" >;)

A very nice story. I'm looking forward to seeing how Ginny steers Harry towards a different house.

A few notes...

"diligently pouring through her..." should be "poring".

"asleep, not on her..." was this supposed to be "now"?

" you could offer then your..." should this one be "them"?

"I want you to. Please." You might want to italicize the 'echo'.

"Christmas's", I think might be 'possessive' form, as opposed to "Christmases" plural.

But I hope that you don't think that I'm picking at you. I wouldn't take the time if I didn't like the story. Really like the story. :)

Anyway, I'm also looking forward to seeing how Hermione realizes the reason that she is so drawn to Harry. Is this a Wizarding thing, that perhaps Molly will have to explain to her, or what? So, anyway--great job--thanks alot!

I'm having fun reading this. Sic chapters straight through--and now I'll ave to wait! *sigh*

I think I'll reread it, then make some comments Very nice story--and I like what you've done with Draco--even if you had to 'suicide' him to get him to the afterlife.

Thanks!

Ginny tries to make Harry jealous--then overreacts just because cow asks him to dance? Maybe it's just because i'm a guy...

I suppose that you were "forcing it", as you mentioned below. You write well, but I have difficulty making the suspension of disbelief required for either Ginny/Blaise or Hermione/Draco. And I'm not a shipper. Or, Draco as a werewolf, for that matter. Best wishes.

I wouldn't have minded if you had meade sure that the Dursleys knew that they were being tormented because they had been horrible to harry. Like some casual comments from George about people being chased up a tree by a bulldog--while Aunt Petunia's prize hyacinth blossoms with dungbombs. Nice prose, good imagination and character representation--though the "sick fuck" was a little short of what I expect of Harry, too much of the author bleeding through. As far as where it's going...well, I read enough.

Author's Response: I\'ll refer to Pg. 458 of HP and the HBP: \"Harry swore. Someone screamed. He looked around to see a gaggle of first years running back around the corner , apparently under the impression that they had just encountered a particularly foul-mouthed ghost.\" What I gather from that, and other canon, is: A) Harry\'s no choir boy; B) if he\'s capable of saying them, he\'s MOST definitely capable of thinking them; C) if there\'s anyone he\'s likely to think about in those terms, it would probably be Snape. I wouldn\'t say it\'s \"bleedthrough\" as presenting aspects of the character in a way that the novels, not being \"rated for Professors,\" cannot. And may I point out that reviews are also not \"rated for Professors,\" so if you could watch your language in the public forum, that would be appropriate.
