Well, after a long hiatus, and a lot of life changes I'm back.
I've got one story for sure and possibly more. We'll just see how it goes.
Actually, mugglenet has been taken over by moderators drunk on their own power. Look for me on fanfiction.net under the penname: Sorcerer's Muse. I will be reposting all current stories there as well as any new work.
Summary: Harry suffers through another horrible day at the Dursleys'. Little does he know that this day will start him on a road of discovery and renewal.
I'll give you a 10 for killing Ginny. You have tricked me before this though, so I will cautiously hope that I am being tricked again. I hope Voldemort is dead, because if not I don't know who will save Harry now. If he is dead, I'm not sure what exactly did it. Harry is supposed to have some power that Voldemort does not that would allow him to win, I didn't see it in this fight, so I'm not sure you have destroyed Voldemort yet. I also don't get what the adults thought they were going to do to stop Voldemort. They all new the prophecy, no one but Harry can do it, so what they were doing not letting him fight the dude is kind of strange. Anyways your story has been interesting and fun to read so far, I sense theat you are coming to and end sometime soon. Despite some of my questions, like I said at the start, you get a 10 for having the guts to kill Ginny.
The dogs being Animagi, that is brilliant, probably the best twist I have seen in a fan fic ever. I can't wait to see what else you are going to do.
You are doing an excelent job over a very long and complicated story.
you got that right.
I was one who was dissapointed that you Killed Ginny. Not to upset about Kevin. I however, did not roast or berate you for it. It was/is your story, do what you want with it. I am glad you have seemingly brought Ginny back. Kevin, if you want him back, I am glad for you. I am not sure if you have destroyed Voldemort entierly in this version or not, you have not clarified it, though it does seem that you have. If that is the case, I think you have ultimately failed with your story becasue Harry was not the one who destroyed Voldemort. Now I wait for you to correct me, or show me in the next chapter that Voldemort is not dead, and Harry will destroy him. Good luck and it has been a fun ride.
Hi: Your doing a good job, and I look forward to reading your next chapters
Author's Response: Thanks! I would like to use this time to say I will now be continueing this story on fanfiction under the name Angel hiding in the dark. Thakn you to all those who supported me while I was on this site.
This is good, I like that Harry can see what Voldemort is doing, though you may have made finding everything out a little to easy. I look forward to reading the rest of this as I just found your story.
You do a good job developing the story here, I still believe you have made it to easy for Harry, regardless this is fun. One thing I do like is that it appears Harry is going to fight more in your story. Many fanfics have him standing there nearly helpless. The prophecy says he is equal with Voldemort. Voldemort took on Dumbledore in the ministry, and it looked like he was at least as powerful as Dumbledore, and JKR probably has him more powerful than Dumbledore, while Dumbledore has more knowledge. Dumbledore had no concerns about fighting dozens of Auror's, if Harry is Voldemorts equal, he should be starting to develope that kind of power also. I'm glad to see the power and knowledge is coming out one way or another
Author's Response: just in case you've missed the reference in the other review responses, the complete story and its sequel are posted at fanfiction.net under the name dbzdragonlanceman.
Very good, like others, I'm glad to see things from a point of view different than Harry's. Please carry your story thru to the end.
Summary: PRE-HBP!!! Harry starts out his sixth year in sorrow at the loss of Sirius. Ginny helps him to overcome it, and our heroes learn a lot about life and love. This story has been completed! Special thanks to my mod, Danielle and to my fantastic readers!
Again, a good job. Let's hope Ginny comes around and lets Harry admit that he loves her and that she loves him. Few stoies that I've read have had Harry bothered by the best friend remark, it is good to see the switched point of view.
Author's Response: I love that Harry is willing to hear her refer to him as a best friend and he loves her enough to give her time. Even if it does upset him. I guess it's another way of having them all grow up. Thank you very much for the review!!!
Well here I am to review, and in the right place. Seems I've read this once or twice before. Certainly less confusing than the first time. This is fun, I am sorry to see that things are going to get rough for Ginny. But what can you expect when you are friends with Harry Potter. Looking forward to your next chapter, and your reviews of mine.
Author's Response: Really? Where would you find a copy of my chapter? How bizarre...;) Yeah, I'm glad that problem got fixed. It's been fun to mess with the character's lives a bit and just enjoy it not being my own life with problems. Happy reading and I'm off to read another chapter of yours!
Again, a good job. I'm looking forward to seeing how the prophecy plays out, and I want to know why Ginny would only focus on Harry after the vision. Maybe she's finally realizing that she's ready to hear that he loves her. We'll see soon enough I guess.
Author's Response: I think the best part of this prophecy is that it will actually play out, unlike the one about Percy which you only hear about. And actually, that makes it all the harder to write because I have to get everything to fit together correctly. As for Ginny, I still don't know exactly why she stared at Harry for so long, she wouldn't tell me. I think that you may be partially right in your guess, but there could have been something else. Maybe she saw him differently than she ever had before. I don't know. Thanks for the review!
Yeah, you're back! And that was so unfair to end the chapter where you did. That was the teaser from the chapter before, and you didn't give us an answer to what happened. You're lucky I can't reach through the screen and get a hold of you ya know. Beyond that, your writing is excellent as usual. Things flow nicely and it reads really well.
Author's Response: I know, I know. I write out all my chapters and then, I pick a line that seems to be filled with suspense. Unfortunately the one I got happened to be the last sentence in the chapter. It was purely accidental. Anyway, violence is never the answer but you could send me threatening notes instead! jk. Thanks for the great review! When next we review for each other we'll have learned all the mysteries of secrets of book six that have been tormenting us for years!!! I can't wait!
Yesh, am I behind or what? Sorry about that. Things have been too busy. Anyways good job with this. I like how Fred or is it George, who is held in check by his new wife. Women, they'll get you every time. Harry's forgiveness of Percy was done well too. Off to the next chapter now.
Author's Response: That's alright. I understand what it's like to be busy all to well. I liked the aspect of the out of control Fred being kept under control by Angelina and the fact that he absolutely loves it. Thanks!
Well, I'm a little surprised at how intact the Potter home was. I thought it had been reduced to rubble from JKR's writing. Beyond that, this was an interesting chapter. Good job, and I'm off to the next one. Hopefully, not too much is wrong with Ginny.
Author's Response: I wonder about that. I mean, for purposes of my story, it works to say that it still stands but if in book seven, Harry goes back to it, what will he find? Thanks for the review!
Ok, I forgot about Ginny's visions, and really should go back and reread this story. I really liked Harry comforting Ginny after the vision. It's about time that aspect of their relationship got turned around. And like you, I thought Dumbledore was pretty good in this chapter also.
Author's Response: It's okay, a lot of people did. I think it was good for Harry that Ginny was always there to help him and finally he got a chance to do the same for her.
I think you did a pretty good job coing up with a reason for Petunia to hate Lily. I wonder if JKR is ever going to give us her reason for it. Oh well, good job with this, and I'm finally caught up with you. Sorry it took me so long to read and review for you, you do such a great job of it for me.
Author's Response: Thank you. I too am interested in learning why Petunia hates Lily so much. Thank you for all these reviews, I really appreciate them a lot!
I like your story. I feel bad for what Harry is going to try and do to Ginny in your next chapter. It would appear that Cho will nock some sense into him though. I hope so.
Author's Response: I hope so too! Are you a new reader? Thank you for your review! Cho is not the only one to knock some sense into him...
Good job, things moved a little quick at the end of the chapter, but other than that, I'm still verexcited to see an update when one is posted.
Author's Response: I don't think I even meant for it to go that fast. I was writing and I let my mind go, then looked back and saw that I had glossed over those end bits really quickly. I think that's one of the things I'm gonna fix once I get the entire story up. Thanks for the review, I'm working hard on the rest of the story to get it up for you guys!
A good chapter. I liked Krum giving Harry advice on how to deal with fame. Again the secrets from Dumbledore. It does not look like Harry is going to like hearing he is the heir of Gryffindor. either that or he gets worse news. I'll keep my guess secret as to the worse news. Don't want to give away your plot. One thing, it is time for Ron and Ginny to quit cringing over the name Voldemort. Please...
Author's Response: Well, you're in luck, the update came in today, you'll be able to test your theory. I hope you tell me if you were right! As for getting over the name, all in good time, all in good time!
