I am a 32 year old pastor of a small church in rural Alabama. I think Harry Potter has an incredible amount of positives for this generation of children. I have a beautiful wife, who reminds me a great deal of Hermione, and two wonderful daughters, the oldest is 2, the youngest just born. Someday they will read these books with mommy and daddy there to explain all the magic stuff.
Summary: The War has been over for five years, and life is happy. When Harry and Ginny Potter find out they are going to be parents for the first time, they have no idea what to do.
But when an incident occurs, Ginny is ordered to be on bed-rest for the rest of her pregnancy. Humor ensues as Ginny tries to direct Harry through the daily duties as a housewife.

Very good start. I have actaully read parts of "What to expect when your expecting" and it is a very good reference for new moms and dads to be. I'm looking forward to the rest.
Author's Response: Hi! I must tell everyone who you are! This author writes my new favorite fic, Never Alone! It\'s awesome!!! I\'m so glad that you liked this! The book is a really great thing to read, you\'re right. One of my Mom\'s friends is reading it, and she finds it really helpful! Thanks for reviewing!! I am actually on my way over to read more of Never Alone!
Very good chapter, and I love the cliff hanger. Good job on the pre Dr visit nerviousness as well. I know how Harry feels. Can't wait to see the next chapter. God Bless!!!
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m a little addicted to writing cliffies. Glad you liked it. The pre-visit nervousness seemed to fit very well in there. I was trying to break it up into five days span. God Bless and thanks!
Nice twist at the end. Sad but unexpected. Harry reminds me of when my wife was expecting our first girl. She would call my name and I would literally run into the room expecting the worst. Nice job picking up on that from the male point of view. Very good so far. God Bless!
Author's Response: Thanks! Can you say unplanned twist? I thought that was very Harry like to rush to her. Thanks! God Bless!!
WOW, Ginny and Hormones, not a pretty picture. :) NIce touch with the photos on the wall. Great chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I really had fun writing Hormonal Ginny. The photos were a on the sopt kind of thing that I absolutely did not plan, and it turned out fantastically. Glad you liked it, and God Bless!
Author's Response: *an on the spot
Summary: Lord Voldemort made a deal with someone who even he considers superior, and if he doesn't fulfill his side of it, then he'll be mortal again!
I am Schmerg_The_Impaler of Hufflepuff house, and this is my submission for the Deathly Hallows prompt in the New Year's Challenge.
Although this story's a one-shot for the challenge, I may add more chapters after the contest is over.
EDIT: Dude! This story came in second in the "Deathly Hallows" prompt of the New Years' Challenge! So, let's do the "2nd Place Dance!" (It's a lot like the Cha-Cha slide.)
Wow, that was really impressive. Great describing of the scene and telling of the story. Wonderful, and very different from your other stories. Bravo!!!!
Author's Response: Thank you! This will eventually be continued, but because I\'m working on three other stories at the time, I\'m abandoning it for a bit.
Summary: Fourth in the Janey Weasley series – oh no, it’s not over yet!
I’m Janey Weasley, and this little one shot is from MY perspective – lucky you! I’m nearing my twenty-first birthday, and there’s lots going on. Job interviews, family gatherings, along with lots of other matters of interest. Read on, and you’ll find out exactly what’s been going on since the last look in you got on my life! It’ll be amusing for you, I’m sure – it always is when you’ve a loopy family, barmy friends and boyfriend and ... well, mostly just the bit about having a loopy family. Welcome to my world!
Wonderfully cute and fluffy. You nailed Molly. I think that would be her reaction to GInny's Wedding. Enjoy the wallpaper.
Author's Response: Lol, thanks, I will. Thanks for reviewing, and keep your eyes open for the next installment! You never know when it might just turn up.
Summary: The Ministry of Magic is holding a Valentine's Day gala to honor the man who delivered them from the evil that had been darkening their lives. Unfortunately, the young hero has no desire to make an acceptance speech. Can his friends help get him in the right frame of mind? They can if their names are Fred and George Weasley.
*Originally written for the PS Valentine's Day challenge.
Great story. Funny and with a nice twist. I wonder if Harry would has always pictured Tonks that way. A little much, but very well and tastefully written. Great job. As always
Author's Response: Heh - I think Tonks\' underthings would be just as over-the-top as her overthings, lol. Harry and Ron are still teenage boys - and thier imaginations do tend to wander even if they\'d never act on it.
Summary: this is a one-shot about Harry's summer after 6th year. He resolved not to date Ginny... but will he be able to keep that resolution once he sees her again?
Well written and romantic without being mushy. Very good job.
Author's Response: thanks! i tried not to be TOO mushy, but sometimes i can\'t help it :)
Summary: It's the sequel to "The Dark Lord's Blog," guys! (And girls... and, I don't know, gender-neutral people and centaurs and walruses and parameciums and shrubs and stuff.)
Several months have passed since Filch came into possession of Voldemort's magical powers, and he has taken over Hogwarts.
With Filch serving as The Dark Lord Snoogerblossom, the position of Hogwarts caretaker/janitor is open. Seeing as Voldemort wants his magical powers back, he and his extremely attractive new sidekick, Mungo Phelps, go undercover at Hogwarts, with Mungo posing as a transfer student and Voldemort posing as the new janitor. Wacky high-jinks ensue.
Join Voldemort as he tries to get back his magic, kill Harry Potter, steal Gryffindor's sword to make a shiny new Horcrux, romance Minerva McGonagall, discover Sirius's secret to becoming a chick magnet, and swallow a teaspoon of his pride to mop up spills the Muggle way and wear an unflattering uniform! WARNING: Extremely silly and very out-of-character.
If you haven't read "The Dark Lord's Blog," well, what are you doing? GO READ IT NOW! Just click on my author name and you'll be directed to my chaotic author page, which lists all my wacky stories.
This is on hiatus, dudes. Ooh! But it was twice nominated by nice (and insane) people for the Best Humour Fic award in the Quicksilver Quills thingy!
Also, some wonderful loony nominated Mungo Phelps for Best Male OC, making him if possible even more conceited! (No one had the heart to tell Mungo that he was designed as an example of a terrible OC.)
EXCITING NEWS! "The E-Journal of an Evil Janitor" is now continued as a Twitter blog! Go to Twitter dot com and find thedarklord666. Voldy's waiting!
Very cute and fun. I do however have a complaint. I was reading "A Past Reclaimed" but hadn't finished it yet and now I know how it ends. I would send you E-Crucios for that, but I am just too nice of a guy. Great start. :)
Author's Response: OOOOOOPS! I\'m sorry! I guess I just kind of stupidly assumed that people would know that Voldemort died! (\'Cos... that tends to happen at the end of these fics!) Thanks ever so for not E-crucio-ing me!
Summary: Fifth in the Janey Weasley series – and this time we hear from Janey’s middle child, Tillie.
She is eleven years old. Her sister, Day, is fifteen, and she also has a seven-year-old brother called Nicky. Due to leave for Hogwarts at the end of the summer, Tillie is utterly perplexed. She can’t imagine life without her sweet, innocent (it seems) little brother to look after, or her carefree, happy mother to look up to. But as the inevitable grows closer, Tillie will soon have to accept that time will wait for no one ... Note: Don’t worry, I haven’t cheated you out of Janey’s wedding – all will be revealed!
Great job. You do a wonderful job of writing from a different point of view, and making them unique. Very well written. This has been a fun set of stories to read. Thanks.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading them! Still not sure if I will write more of Janey, but never consider the series completed, because it\'s likely that I\'ll just get a storyline for it that can\'t go unwritten ... until then, thanks for reading and reviewing!
Summary: There are dark times on the horizon, and everyone knows it. War and death assaults the Wizarding World everyday, but even in the middle of all the terror, there are light moments; even in a world of hatred, love can be found. Such is the case when two friends admit their feelings for each other, feelings that they have harboured for several years.
Very well done. Ron and Hermione are my favorites so it is fun to see a story about them. Good use of the flashbacks as well. It really helped to place the story in context. Great Job
Author's Response: Thank you for the review, ckwright51. I\'m glad you liked this story.
Summary: When Hermione falls in love with her red-haired best friend, she comes to realize that holidays are no help at all. Features secret agent Hermione (theme song included!), semi-psychotic Ginny, smugly smirking Harry, Quidditch kit Ron, snowball fights, breaking and entering, presents, stolen clothes, owl poop, broken platters and a truly spectacular hexing of Malfoy.
What a fun chapter. Lots of fun fluff and romance. Great job keep it up
Summary: Ever wondered why Florean Fortescue was taken by the Death Eaters?
Lord Voldemort is on the quest to find the best, evilest flavour of ice cream, and he will stop at nothing to get it.
This is a very short, very silly and quite OOC little one-shot written as consolation for the fact that "E-Journal" is on hiatus. It's based on a prompt given to me by the ridiculously talented Inigoenigma.
Nominated for Best Humour fic in the Quicksilver Quills awards!
Brownie Batter ice cream got my wife through her first pregnancy!!!. Wonderful story. You truly are in my top two or three authors on this sight. Keep up the funny work. And take a brake from writting stuff. It's the summer for pete's sake. Take Care
Author's Response: Awww, thanks so much! It\'s funny that you said \'take a break from writing, it\'s summer\'-- I was thinking, \"Yes, it\'s summer! Now I have the freedom to WRIIIITE!\"
Summary: As Harry awaits the start of his confrontation with Voldemort, his thoughts drift to those who've helped him along the way - particularly the one he'd tried to push away.
Wow, I always feel like I am sitting beside Harry when you tell a story. The detail and descriptions are great. It reminds me yet again, that I still have along way to go in this writing thing. Take Care and thanks for a lovely story.
Author's Response: Aww, thanks so much, but I think you\'re too kind. I\'m glad you enjoyed this little glimpse into what I hope is a nice beginning for our hero.
Summary: “What people don’t realize is that Sirius Black is a false name...the man people believe to be Sirius Black is actually Stubby Boardman...
Kingsley Shacklebolt is sent to question Stubby Boardman, a former pop singer who has lost his luster. A simple task? So it would seem...
Great work. I loved the twist at the end. Outstanding, especially for someone waiting to read DH. Thanks for the laugh.
Author's Response: Ah, thanks!
Summary: Severus Snape's house receives some unusual visitors. Here be Deathly Hallows Spoilers - huge great enormous ones. You have been warned! :-)
Very interesting take on the aftermath of Snape's life. Extremely well written, thanks for sharing it with us.
Author's Response: Thank you, and you\'re welcome!
Summary: While Harry if off hunting horcruxes, Neville and the rest of his friends and classmates are not sitting idly by.
That last conversation with Neville and Seamus gave me chills. Exceptional work. I feel like I am reading DH again but from Nevilles POV, which is excellent. Thanks and update soon. Take Care
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the compliment; I\'m so happy to know that the conversation between those two turned out okay!
Very good opening scene. I thought Neville and the others would make great Fanfiction material and it seems you have gotten us off to a great start. Can't wait to see more.
Author's Response: Thanks, I\'m glad you enjoyed it!
The Phoenix of the Order: A Potterized Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack! by Schmerg_The_Impaler
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 69]
Summary: Having spoofed the lovely album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," I decided to do another one of my favourite albums: THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA SOUNDTRACK! And through Andrew Lloyd Webber's yummy songs, this spoof tells the story of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
So here it is, guys! (And girls, and koalas, and lampreys, and shrubs and parameciums and stuff.)
This is more a spoof of the soundtrack than the actual play... though if anyone records themself singing any of these songs, I would fall over from sheer awesomeness attack.
Absolutley incredible. I love Phantom and you really did a remarkable job. Extremely well done. I can't wait to see the rest. Take Care
Author's Response: Thank you! ^_^ I\'m glad you enjoyed it.
I don't think Ican express just how impressive that little work was. You are a very talented young lady and hope to see your real name, or you pen name, in lights some day. Take care and keep being so wonderfully creative.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! If I ever become famous, I\'ll make sure my pen name is always directly under my real name in small letters so you\'ll know if you see it anywhere! ^_^
