Jo, bless you, why'd you have to kill off all the good ones?
I've sailed the James/Lily ship for six years strong and, more recently, Remus/Tonks.
I also ship Dumby/Grindy, but no one is ever, ever going to read that.
Summary: Lily Evans and James Potter agreed on only one thing since they first met: they'll always hate each other. But after five years, James begins to see things, to see her, differently, and wants another chance. But Lily is one stubborn girl. Can he convince her that his feelings are real? Meanwhile, the pair is thrust into many different dangerous and humorous situations with their friends. Will it take a disaster to help Lily believe in true love? Or will a tragedy just push her farther away? How many times does James have to try before he stops messing up? Follows with the information provided by JKR, with some fun along the way.
Omg update! D; Author, I hope you die slowly and painfully via chainsaw if you do not update soon! >:)
That's kind of weird. Sorry.
Summary: James and Lily-their seventh year. We all know what happens in the end, but what about the beginning? In their last year at Hogwarts, mysteries unravel, friends are betrayed, and, of course, couples destined to be fall in love.
Yays for the S.M.S.O.B. dance! :D
Sirius is hotter, OF COURSE! :P
30 July 07: Chapter 15 up and runnin'!! Eventually, 16 forward will post. Thanks you guys - and yay Deathly Hallows! No Spoilers, but definite cannon!!!!!
Even Harry wondered how in the world the obvious loathing Lily felt for James could have turned into a marriage. How could they have loved each other? Well, if this ever bothered or troubled you in the slightest, look no further! 'The Princess and Prat' picks up around the time of the Pensieve Scene in book 5...
Read "The Princess & the Prat" to find out how it all began!!! Also posted on HPFF.com, with over 1110 reviews.
Great! That was fun to read. Just one thing... "It was all she could do from shrieking with pleasure." I assume you meant, "It was all she could do to keep from shrieking with pleasure." But I hope I don't sound too preachy! D:
Wonderful story! I look forward to reading more!
Summary: Lily Evans had never expected what came during her 7th year at Hogwarts. Love was something that was farthest from her mind. With the deaths of her parents, Lily wasn't ready to take any chances with things like that. Academics only, right? Wrong. Follow Lily through her final year of school and watch her fall in love with the one person she thought she'd always hate.
Oh my gosh, you guys. I'm SO sorry for the HUGE lack of update. My computer is in the shop at the moment and I won't have it back for a while. Chapter 3 of RTBW is almost finished and then it will be sent off to my lovely beta. Until then, I'm planning on the future chapters of this fic and my other fic, 'Dear Diary,' which I am really really focusing on. In the mean time, you could always take a look at that... ;)
Thank you all so much for your patience! xox
EDIT: Chapter three is officially written. I'm going to have it betaed tomorrow and it should be ready within a few days!
Wow...I love the ending. Very nice. ^-^
Summary: Lily thought she was in for a boring summer... but James Potter had other ideas. Love Letters, with a rather bizarre twist.
WOW AWESOME! I actually think you should leave it at that. It would be fun if you updated, but it would ruin the perfect ending. Whatev. Great story. :)
Oh...my God. Author, whoever you are, I love your sense of humour!

Summary: "Strutting around the place with his friends and admirers..." ~Professor Snape, PoA
There may be some reason behind Snape's words.
Marvelous! I love how you inserted James "strutting" here or "strutting" there, so as to make sure we didn't forget.
It's rather a weird coincidence, but I've always thought that scene with Harry in Snape's office was rather...funny. Perhaps it's just because "strut" is a funny word. So, I sincerely thank you for unknowingly answering my 'why-does-James-strut' question.
And no, it's NOT a load of old tosh!
Author's Response: ^^ Heh. I\'m glad your first comment about my repeating the fact that James is strutting was not \'zomg we get it omg!!!\'\r\nAnd it has been my pleasure.
Summary: "Thursday is the only day you can ask a girl out with any chance of success." That's been Sirius' philosophy for as long as he can remember. Now, in their 6th year, James is trying to use that knowledge to win the heart of a certain Lily Evans...and the Thursdays are running out.
Finally, a Lily I can imagine being friends with! Haha. Do keep writing! :)
