I needed a name quickly and it was the first thing I came up with (Scary, huh?)

I'm working on it, stop chasing me down dark alleyways!!
Can I borrow your Pritt Stick?
For Goodness sake Joanna, buy your own!
Date: May 7th
Time: I don't know, I lost my watch at the swimming pool.
Chapter 5 has been submitted!!! *does happy dance* I have absolutely NO CLUE when Chapter 6 will be up. I have to write chapter 2 of another story and start writing a different one all together! Oh and no to mention that wonderful word - EXAMS!! On a happier note - I'm going on Scout camp! Yayyy! (This is a very big deal for me!)
Well, I suppose I should start studying *gags*
My fantastic beta, Jen, has made a great banner! Check it out at:
This next banner was made by my wonderful friend Colli!
Summary: Tom and Miriam Riddle were never the closest of siblings, especially after all the horrible things he made her endure while they were in school. However, one day, after living a relatively happy life away from him, Miriam is thrust back into his clutches once more.
(A sequel to the fic, In the Shadow of the Serpent.)
Oh poor Miriam. Tom certainly does know how to get to her! Thew next chapter sounds interesting, I can't wait to read it
Author's Response: It shouldn\'t take too long for the next chapter to go up. This section goes up fairly quickly. I can\'t wait to read your next chapter, too. :-)
SOPHIE!!! The horcrux-creating-ceremony-thingy was really well described and a little disturbing! Pleas e update soon!
Author's Response: The last two chapters are currently with my beta, so I won\'t be able to update until then. Yeah, I agree, the Horcrux ceremony was disturbing to write. I always imagined the whole process of making Horcruxes must have been disturbing, being a dark Dark Art practice.
Oh wow! Wow, wow, wow!! (that sounds like a dog impersonation!) I really enjoyed the first chapter, the letter Tom sent actually made me shiver a bit!! Update your fic and I'll update mine =]
Author's Response: I just submitted the second chapter! :-) I can\'t wait to read your next one.
Wow, very interesting! How is Miriam going to assit him?
Author's Response: We\'ll find out in the next chapter. ;-) Hopefully I should have the next set back from my beta soon.
Great Chapter. The inferi were described really well, poor miriam she has more nightmares than anyone, dosen't she!
Author's Response: Yeah, she does, doesn\'t she? :-( I\'m glad you liked this chapter. :-)
Wow! That was probably the best chapter I've ever read. Not that all the other chapters weren't BRILLIANT but this is AMAZINGLY FANTASTICALLY BRILLIANT! *takes breath* I liked the reaction Miriam had about Tom's apperance! Keep up the AMAZINGLY FANTASTICALLY BRILLIANT good work!!
Author's Response: *big grin* I\'m really glad you liked this one so much. :-D I tried to keep Tom\'s appearance like it was in book 6. By this point in it, he was starting to lose his good looks and all. Poor Tommy. :-)
This is so sad, I'm almost in tears! Not only is the chapter miserable but now it's the end!! *has a breakdown*
This and 'in the shadow of the serpent' are deffinetly some of the best fics I've ever read! Thank you for writing these wonderful (and sometimes heart-breaking) stories! Ellie =]
Author's Response: *blushes* Thanks! I\'m sad the story\'s over too. :-( But... read my bio page for something I\'ve written concerningthe story... ;-) You may like it....
Blasted thing won't let me in :(
Anyways I had an Idea which...ahem...its a surprise but could you just describe Sophie and Marcella's apperances? Thanks, Ellie
Author's Response: Just FYI, you can\'t really review chapters that haven\'t been approved yet. The mods were cracking down on this recently and one of the consequences for it would be having this story deleted and everyone involved would get in trouble. I just mentioned it because I don\'t want to see you or the others get into trouble. :-) As for their appearances, sure. I\'ll add it to the next chapter. :-)
A.P.W.B.D? Hmm thats a very hard person to figure out! Marcella? Hagrid? Tom? hehe can't wait for the next chapter 10/10
Author's Response: Next chapter is already up. ;-) Glad you liked this one, though.
Summary: Voldemort has been defeated, and as he slowly dies, his life begins to flash before his eyes....
Really good! It was nice to see it from Voldy's point of view for a change! (I also loved the Amy Benson bit :D)
Author's Response: Yeah, Voldy needed it told from his PoV too. :-) (Glad you liked the Amy Benson bit, ;-) ) I\'m actually considering a separate sequel to this fic. Can\'t say too much on it at the moment.... *g*
Summary: Do you have what it takes to be a Death Eater? In these "short" guidelines written by the Dark Lord himself, you'll find out all the do's and don't's and other info of being a Death Eather in Voldemort's service....
That was definetly one of the funniest fics I've ever read :D My sister is looking at me while I'm rolling round on the sofa laughing (upturning a glass of orange juice in the process!) Thanks for brightening up an otherwise boring day!
Author's Response: Hi Ellie! Ignore your sister, lol! J/K. ;-) I\'m glad I could brighten up your day. :-D It means a lot....
Summary: It all started with the Marauders and a boring breakfast...
After a recovery from a "grevious attack from a tomatoe," (as Remus likes to call it) the four fast friends begin to leave the Hospital Wing. As they do, unfortunate Peter manages to break a few potions (of dubious origins), turning the Marauders into girls!
Now they must deal with the drama, the social life, and what happened to their male selves.
(note: warnings may change as the story progresses...)
“It was a grievous attack from a tomato…”
That made me laugh really hard! I can't wait to read more! Please update soon!!
Summary: WARNING! This story contains a jingle-bell antler headband, a shower of potatoes, boy/girl mushiness, underwear karaoke, family trouble, an excessively adorable werewolf, death, the song "Werewolves of London," betrayal, and the word 'Jordan' five times in a row near the beginning of chapter seven.
Twenty-one years after Voldemort's defeat, five fourth-years are faced with a new threat. Will all of the five stay true to the light side? Will they all emerge whole in the end? Will Jordan Potter ever get a life? You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll gasp, you'll sigh! Part one in a trilogy!
Well, after much deliberation and consideration, I've decided to submit my future-gen trilogy! This particular installment is three years old, so it's definitely different from my current writing style, but I'm quite fond of the characters.
DH is disregarded. It's a total coincidence that one of the main characters is named Ted Lupin.
Starring Quicksilver Quills 2008 Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, and Emma Weasley, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin!
Five times nominated (once for each member of Potter's Pentagon!) for the Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards, and nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards...
OH WOW! What a fabulous ending! *squee*
My favourite OC would have to be Jordan - He's so cool and different and I fell in love with him from the start! (You actually had me in hysterics when I thought he was on the Dark Side!) I also loved his speech - it was so sweet! I also love Ted and Ivy - they completely deserve each other!
I could never pick one of your OCs to be my least favourite - I love them all!!
Anyway, FANTASTICALLY BRILLIANT story Schmergo!
P.S. I have my own next-gen story in the works right now and in the fifth year, the Triwizard is held at Hogwarts. Would it be alright if I kept it that way??
Author's Response: WOWIE WOW! Thank you! I like Jordan even though he\'d probably really annoy me if he was real.. and I\'m sure I would annoy him. I\'m a lot like Haley that way. Feel free to write your story! The mods keep rejecting mine, so it\'ll probably never make it up on this site anyway.
Summary: Ever wondered why Florean Fortescue was taken by the Death Eaters?
Lord Voldemort is on the quest to find the best, evilest flavour of ice cream, and he will stop at nothing to get it.
This is a very short, very silly and quite OOC little one-shot written as consolation for the fact that "E-Journal" is on hiatus. It's based on a prompt given to me by the ridiculously talented Inigoenigma.
Nominated for Best Humour fic in the Quicksilver Quills awards!
Brilliant! ( as are all the stories you write!) A hilarious and yummy story to keep me laughing for hours on an otherwise boring day! I loved the play on Monty Python and the mention of Rupert Grint's ice-cream van!
I also find it unfair that Fudge gets so many ice-creams named after him! I mean it's not like anyone likes him is it?
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! Yeah, I was looking up the list of Ben & Jerry\'s ice cream names to use in my story, and like half of them had the word \'Fudge\' in it. It was quite odd, and I couldn\'t help but think of good old Cornelius. I\'m so glad you spotted the Rupert Grint joke!
Summary: Anyone heard those rumours about a Harry Potter musical?
It better be just like this.
No, but seriously, it's a spoof of the songs from Disney channel's infamous "High School Musical," telling the tale of JK Rowling's infamous "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." (I was dared; I took the challenge.)
You will never see the Basilisk the same way again.
P.S. You may also want to check out my Beatles and Phantom of the Opera spoofs. Just click on my username and it'll take you to my delightfully chaotic author's page.
Twice nominated for Best Poem in the Quicksilver Quills Awards!
Brilliant! My fiend showed my this on a school computer and we pretty much collapsed laughing and were chivied off the computer! My sister in particular is a HUGE High School Musical fan, I can't wait to sing your lyrics and annoy her!
I am also completely Wicked-obsessed so if you do write a spoof I'd love to read it!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! It would have been even better if you were singing in the school library, though...
Summary: I am Teddy Lupin. I have found and lost love. I have lived many lives. And I am surely about to die. I am Teddy Lupin. This is my story.
Wow, what an interesting and well-written story!
I'm a sucker for Teddy fics at the moment, but quite a few of them have not lived up to my expectations. This story, however, is amazing. You portray emotions beautifully - Teddy's in particular - you feel his tension, his panic when reading the prologue. I also love the descriptions of his appearance - you can write paragraphs and paragraphs about it and not bore the reader.
I do have one nitpick: While I was reading about her, I got the impression that Jazzelle is a little bit Mary Sue-ish, maybe that's because she's perfect, in Teddy's opinion, so maybe she'll be a little more real when we get to meet her.
Apart from that, this is truly one of the best fics I've read in a while now - I'm going to add it to my favourites right now. Excellent story: 10/10.
Really Wicked: Stephen Schwartz's Wicked Gone Potter by Schmerg_The_Impaler
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 79]
Summary: It's another spoof by Schmerg_The_Impaler!
This time, it's "Wicked," by Stephen Schwartz, remodeled to tell the story of Voldemort's life!
I also have spoofs of Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and High School Musical on my profile, if anyone would care to read.
I have been waiting for so long for this to come out, and now it has it is AMAZINGLY FANTASTICALLY BRILLIANT!! Wicked is my favourite musical in the world, and my chief obsession, so this was like a dream come true for me! I plugged in my ipod and sang all the songs with my kareoke version (obsessed, remember?) and I couldn't stop laughing! My favourite songs would have to be 'Voldemort' and 'Apply Depravity' - they both had me in hysterics!
I vote for Sweeny Todd next! (though I love Hairspray as well!) Have you ever considered perhaps doing some older musicals, like Oliver or The Sound of Music? I think they'd make wonderful parodys!
Anyway, I cannot wait to read Act 2!
P.S. Are you planning on doing Nessa's song (The Wicked Witch of the East) for Act 2? It's one of my favourites.
Author's Response: WOW!!! Thanks so much! I have the karaoke soundtrack, too. I love a lot of the older musicals, but I feel like most of them (though not Sound of Music) aren\'t as well known as, say, Phantom or Wicked... and there\'s no point in posting a story if almost no one reads it! (For some reason, I\'ve only gotten a few reads on my Les Miserables spoof... and I always though Les Mis was a very popular show.)
Voldemort: The Psycho Dark Lord of Hogsmeade (Sweeney Todd Gone Potter) by Schmerg_The_Impaler
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 41]
Summary: The final installment of my set of Broadway musical spoofs about Voldemort's life!
This is Stephen Sondheim's brilliant musical, Sweeney Todd, but drastically warped and twisted by me. If you ever wanted to hear a song where Voldemort tries to encourage Fenrir to eat various Potterverse characters, this is the fic for you.
My other two spoofs about Voldemort, those of Les Miserables and Wicked, can be found on my profile. I've also got spoofs of Phantom of the Opera, High School Musical, and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Enjoy!
Is there anything you CAN'T do???
Thank you so so so much for writing this! My friend has just got me into Sweeney about a week ago and I cannot stop singing it! This was absolutely hilarious, especially The Worst Child in London and a Little Bill! Your best one so far, I think. So...I'm just going to go around singing those for days now...wonderful.
I cannot wait for the Lion King, and is the Sound of Music thing from my suggestion (if so, squee!)
So, briefly, FABULOUS. I loved every minute of it!
Author's Response: Awww, thank you very, very much! I personally think \"A Little Bill\" is my best spoof I\'ve done, so I\'m rather proud of it, and I\'m glad you mentioned it! This spoof was ridiculously hard to write, and I\'m happy that I\'m finally done with it.
