I'm a fifteen year old Australian, with two pet cats and a Harry Potter obsession. What more needs to be said?
::drums on table:: In other news, I officially have more favourites than there are humour fics. That's either very scary and depressing, or very good... I'll leave that up to you... Have a look, most of them are quite good (although there may be a few that slipped in there by accident).
I currently have two stories in the process of being written, one of which (I am sorry to say) is on hold for the near future, as I'm rather caught up in the other. Fear not, A Different Type of Magic will be updated soon, but All I Ever Wanted is the first on my list right now.
Sorting Songs, a History (with Two Examples) by Textualsphinx
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 17]
Summary: Who really writes the Sorting Songs? A literary history of magical song-writing with not one but two authentic examples from recent decades. They rhyme and they scan.
I officially love this fic... I want a sequel! You find so many terribly written sorting songs in fanfics - a selection of well written ones is a rarity...

UPDATE! This was one of the first stories I read on Mugglenet, and I couldn't wait to see what happened, but you've abandoned it ::pouts:: Please?

I have the feeling the next chapter is going to be painful... Poor Harry... Good fic though - very original!

To be practical for a moment, since the Pope has just died, I'm not sure entirely how appropriate this story is... Luckily, it's really well written - well done!

Ah... The chapter kind of breaks off in the middle of a sentence... Please fix!
Sorting Hat Songs by the nutty imp
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 37]
Summary: A collection of Sorting Hat Songs that I wrote.
To writers, feel free to use it for your fics.
::claps delightedly:: It's about time someone started a database of these... Some of the songs out there are terrible and most authors end up leaving them out entirely. Yours, however, is wonderful.
Author's Response: Thanks ^_^ I did noticed that most authors tend to leave them out ... I thought it's most likely because they don't want to bother with writing rhymes. So, figured I could simplify matters by posting a collection for people to grab as they please. Thanks for reviewing and hope you'll find this useful one of these days. ^_^
