I'm Pooja, a twenty-two year-old Indian. I'm a die-hard fan of Harry Potter, a
Shahid KapoorVarun Dhawan lover, and very proud Hufflepuff.
I'm in Med college now, and I stay away from home. I really hope to continue writing even after I become a doctor. :)
I'm fond of reading, singing and six years ago, I discovered my fondness for fanfiction writing too. I'm much better now than I was when I came here, but I still think there's much room for improvement as far as my writing is concerned.
My all-time OTP is Ron/Hermione. I love this couple to death, even with my limited number of stories about them.
I am slowly starting to try stuff I've never tried writing before. I find that I quite enjoy writing slash these days.
Anyway, here are some of my stories, sorted out for you:
I've got two series out here. The first one is a trio era series (though the sequel to the first novel is OC based) and the second one is next-gen. Here's some information about these:
1. TRIO ERA (PRE-DH)
Ha! I don't have a name for this one. I think I should come up with one soon, though. This series is COMPLETE.
Killer Instincts: Complete, with H/G and R/Hr as the primary ships.
Where Are You? Complete. This is the sequel to KI but it only follows my OCs from Killer Instincts-- Daisy, Chris, Cheryl and Pari. Yes, it's a completely OC based story.
Companion fics (one-shots, all featuring Anurag Krishnan):
a. Mum's the World (pre-WAY)
b. Face Value (pre-WAY)
c. At the End of the Tunnel (post-WAY)
2. TRIO ERA SERIES (POST-DH)
This is a recent series of mine and it complies with DH, as opposed to the Killer Instincts series.
Plum Cake: This takes place during DH. It's Hermione's birthday in 1997, and the trio is camping.
Ready or Not: H/G + R/Hr, and I'm currently writing this fic. It's going to be novel-length. It's a romantic mystery. :)
Lilttle Angel Wings R/Hr story, depicting their marital problems. Complete.
3. YEARS FIVE AND SIX: SCORPIUS MALFOY, ROSE WEASLEY AND ALBUS POTTER
Black With a Hint of Red A mystery novella which was written for a challenge. I must say, I'm rather proud of this one!
Transcendent Affection: The sequel to BWHR, with a few other twists. This is a mystery too.
4. ROSE AND SCORPIUS SERIES
His Hero: Rose/Scorpius one-shot.
I Know Why You Smile: Scorpius and Rose encounter some relationship problems. (Scorpius/ Rose and Scorpius/Victoire)
Coup de grace: Incomplete, on an indefinite hiatus but I don't think I'd label it 'ababdoned' YET.
When the Rose Fell: I'm co-authoring this with my sis, Nadia/majestic_ginny. It's a Scorose. :)
There are some really old ones here and that is not what I write like now. :p
Plum Cake (R/Hr)
A Stolen Kiss (Cedric/Penelope)
It's Called Sweet Vengeance (R/Hr)
The Champion (Cedric Diggory)
The Crush (Seamus/Lavender)
Inside Out (Padma/Penelope)
Inanity Over a Hairstyle (Ginny)
Battered Heart (Hugo/OC)
His Hero (Scorpius/Rose)
Cold Feet (Scorpius/ Hugo)
Eastern Dawn Stars (Scorpius/ OC)
The Maimed Reflection (Albus Potter)
Mum's the World (Anurag Krishnan-- my OC)
Sapphires (Various Pairings)
Rubies (Sequel to Sapphires, various pairings)
Princess (written for an OC challenge, Dark/Angst)
Face Value (Sequel to 'Mum's the World, Anurag Krishnan, other pairings
At the End of the Tunnel (Anurag Krishnan, spoils Where Are You?)
Now, I haven't got very good stuff here. My best is 'While He Leaves'. The rest probably aren't even poetry with the haphazardly fashion that they've been written in. Anyway--
While He Leaves (R/Hr)
Fun in the Romantic Rain (R/Hr)

Wow! Cool chappie with a cool cliffie!
You have done a really good job. In fact, this fic reminds me of what are known as 'K soaps' in India. These are soaps owned by a person the name of who's soaps always start with a 'K'. Those soaps have similar plots to this fic.
Of course, those are not worthwile comparing with your fic coz they are the most boring things you would ever choose to watch in life. On the contrary, your fic is a superb one with dedicated love. It's not that one minute Hermione loved Ron and the other minute she went on with Draco. What is to be appreciated is that Hermione still loved Ron, despite going out with Draco.
Summary: Harry is entering his 6th year at Hogwarts. NEWT classes, Quidditch and a new DADA teacher all add up to a seemingly normal year. But what is Voldemort up to now? Where are his Death Eaters? Tortures and killings have started, but how much of it is all just a decoy in the great scheme of things? This time, Harry must leave the comfort of his friends and face his darkest fear.
Hi, I am a new author here, and I have been reading fics for a long time in this site. I think you have done a brilliant job with this fic and have done full justice to characters. I also liked your frequent use of Latin in this fic. The fic is as dark as it should be, and you have also done a good job with the cliffys. I cannot believe the fact that you are an amateur!
Well, I cannot promise you, but I will review the sequel whenever possible. I am a tenth grader, and have got classes, homework and tests that any other Indian tenth grader would have. So I will try to review whenever possible in the future. All the best for the sequel!
Author's Response: Lol, I\'m an amateur through and through - my only writing experiance before this was endless essays in English lessons! Thanks for such a positive review and good luck with the schoolwrk, ~ Stormy x
Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione make a trip to Godric's Hollow to visit the Potters' graves. There, Harry speaks to his parents for the first time, and in so doing, discovers that the dead are never truly lost. (One-shot. Bring your kleenex.)
Oh... that was so beautiful. I never knew how it could be to lose a parent (touchwood, touchwood) and your story just portrays the feelings of a person without parents (God forbid such people ever exist; but this is what is called the world). It was so touching- I almost cried, but then I remembered that my family members would think that I'm gone mad to cry for barely any reason (hey, they would know the reason only if they actually read the fic, which is virtually impossible) ;).
Summary: The Second War has ended, and several months have passed since the Final Battle. It is now the night of 31 December, and while the rest of the world is out celebrating the dawning of a Voldemort-free year, one young man is preparing to end his life. He has lost everything he cared for, including the love of his life, and can see no reason to continue living. Will someone come and save him before it is too late?
Written for “Winter Snows Challenge One: Redemption” by megan_lupin of Gryffindor.
Hey, this was a beautiful story. I really loved it. It's very well written and your style is gripping. It's wonderful. Keep it up! :)
Summary: My version of Book 7. Harry sets off on his quest for Voldemort’s Horcruxes and discovers the true loyalties of certain wizards. He also receives some much-needed help from Hogwarts, though the school itself remains closed. The war against Voldemort rages on and spreads in the Wizarding community. As the death toll rises, Harry, Ron, and Hermione desperately search for the pieces of Voldemort’s soul and the key to his downfall. The lives they had known crumble around them, and the Trio finally come to realize that nothing, not even each other, can be secure anymore.
Good story! I came home from my classes, hoping someone would have updated their fic, and I could have a good fifteen minute relaxation. I opened my mail account, and I really cannot say how glad I was, to find that you had updated your fic. My school term has started, and the teachers are pressurizing us like anything. But your fic has really removed a lot of tiresome thoughts from my brain, and for once I did not have to rack my brains physics and maths and God knows what all. Anyway, it was excellent! Keep it up!
Author's Response: Well, I\'m happy I helped you relax. Thank goodness my school just finished. I\'m glad you like it so much, & thanks for the review!!!
Hey, review 2, just to inform you that I've nominated this fic for the Quicksilver Quill awards! Kudos, this fic is wonderful!
Author's Response: Thank you! :D Cool, I didn\'t even get any nominations last year... Thanks!!!
Ooh, that's a really gripping cliffie. This chappie is done really well! There was a lot of information which the readers can obtain from this chapter. Please update soon. My school's starting on 31st October and studying here is becoming a challenge because of the sound of crackers on the occasion of Diwali. Personally, I like the new dresses and henna part of Diwali (you can ignore the henna part of it if you want, but new dresses are a must on Diwali). The crackers are nice when they are peaceful and beautiful rather than noisy and useless. Hey, but the best festival is Vijaya Dashami, where you have to keep all your books for prayer for an entire day. You are strictly NOT supposed to study on that day and then sit and study a page from each book on the next day. ;)
Author's Response: Oh, so your school hasn\'t really started officially yet? Lucky! Hey, well have fun! I\'m glad that with all that\'s goig on, you still have time to R&R for me! ;) Thank you, Ginny!! The next chapter should be up really soon!!!
There was no need for that note about Hagrid being ooc, because he was perfect! And oooh, you have left a cliffie; my favourite part in a story!
I am sorry for this, but I have to inform you of a tiny mistake: Luna cannot Apparate yet. Otherwise, cheers! It was a real cool chappie.
By the way, don't worry about killing Ginny, because she is not my favourite character, even though I quite like that character. My penname is 'Ginny Weasley Potter', because I absolutely love the Harry/ Ginny pairing.
Author's Response: Oops! Didn\'t catch that about Luna, sorry! I\'m happy you think Hagrid was OK, reviews are convincing me more and more that I did him right. :) Thanks for the review!!!
You took me by surprise in that whole Ravenclaw thing! I love your story! Pls update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Chapter 10 is coming soon!!!
Awww... its such a touching chapter. You're really getting more and more evil, PadfootBaby. *And, the award for the Most Evil Author In The Whole Wide World goes to... PadfootBaby!*
Hey, don't be mad at me if I am not able to review some chapters. I'm going crazy with all the work I have to do here. Even my Christmas Vacation is going to be full of studies and fat books, and my cousins, who study in the same school as I do, get a Christmas party at school! That's really unfair, is it not?
Forget that, I was really shocked that you made Umbridge a Death Eater, but the clip-clop was hillarious! The only thing is that I wasn't quite cheerful when Snape died. Why did you kill him? You are really wicked!
Author's Response: I\'m sooo evil! Muahahahaha!!! =:D Hey, it\'s fine with me if I get a REWARD for it! ...That is really unfair, about your school (but I\'m not mad at you, so don\'t ever think like that! :P). How come you have to study and stuff and your cousins don\'t? And especially for Christmas vacation? That\'s just... torture. Torture, plain and simple. *is shocked* The Death Eater angle was the only way I could think of to get rid of Umbridge with the centaur thing. Poor Snape. Sniff. (Why does everybody who reads this seem to actually LIKE Snape? Just my luck...) Anyway, thanks for the review, Ginny! Chapter 21 should be up and running really soon!
Finally... I've been waiting for you to update. Nice chapter! And guess what? I'm in the middle of my ICSE exams! I love this fic, Padfootbaby!
Author's Response: Exams!? Bleh. Good luck with those, I can totally sympathize... Yuck. Well, I know, I know, everybody\'s been waiting for an update, but like I said, I had a major case of writer\'s block that lasted for like three months! It was sooo terrible, and I felt so bad, but I finally got over it! Thank goodness! So, thanks for the review, and again, good luck on your exams!!!
Wow! It is tooooo good! I wonder how you have managed to write such an awesome fic! :)
Author's Response: Thank you so so so so much!!!! I\'m glad you think it\'s that good! :)
Hey, don't be slow, Trish, this story rocks! How can you even say that it sucks? I loved it!
I love the amount of adventure that you have managed to put in in this chapter. Really interedsting. And the DH thing... basilisk fangs, right?
I did not understand the entire joke about Harry puking, though... no complaint. The rest of the chapter is fabulous, anyway. Good one :) ~Pooja
Author's Response: Thanks. The Harry joke was an inside joke with a friend of mine, just wanted to sneak it in there... Yeah, the DH tribute was the basilisk fangs, I loved the way Jo put that together. Glad you like the story-and thanks for the review!!!
I really liked your story uptil now, and I have even added it to my favourites! Well, please update soon and keep up the good work!
Author's Response: I\'m sorry I killed off your (apparently) favorite character. Thanks for the review, when someone says they put the story on their faves, that\'s a really big compliment. The next chapter\'s coming soon!!!!
Superbly written! I loved the last five(?) chapters!
Okay, okay I know I have not reviewed for the last five chapters. But what to do? I am in tenth grade and besides having loads and loads to study, my semesters were preponed too. I just finished with them and even though our Diwali vacations are on I still have to study (don't worry, I am not the only one. All tenth graders all over India are facing the same thing). I have to visit the library everyday, make projects, complete the huge pile of vacation homework set for us, attend classes and even study for my test series. So all in all, I did not have any time to read, let alone review your fic.
Anyways, your fic is simply fabulous. The Ginny thing in the fourteenth chapter particularly touched me- it reminded me of One Last Time...- one of my fics. That one was about Ginny's last moments too.
Well, update soon!
Author's Response: Whew. Believe me, I know how you feel. Updates have been super slow for me because I\'ve got a ton of homework and studying to do and school is just a pain in the neck this year. So, you\'re not alone!! I\'ve sent in the next chapter, so hopefully that should be up soon. Thanks for the review, Ginny! Welcome back!!! :P
Is Harry going to get trapped now??? LOL, you seem to be an expert at cliffies, Trish (can I call you that, dear?) This chapter was really interesting, but is that the last we saw of Ron and Hermione? I really hope they come back, because Harry without Ron and Hermione is like a cup of tea without tea leaves (sorry for the rather vain comparison, I couldn’t think of anything else ;))
So, that buried thing is not a Horcrux, it’s a trap… OMG, you’re really making it more and more interesting. I wonder who’ll die, though? I know it’s not going to be Harry and I sincerely hope it’s not anyone in the Ron or Hermione, at any cost. It’s only as if Harry needs more, right now. He’ll just explode! If it were me, I’d put this in middle *Author bursts through the computer screen and gives a bear hug to Harry, because he needs it badly, just now. And when Harry asks who she is, she smiles and…* well, more of that, later.
Yay! Harry got a wand. After reading your story, even though I know all this won’t happen in the *real* Potter world, I’m starting to get worried for him… the poor guy. I’m so glad that our lives are not like his ;)!!!
Author's Response: Yes, you can call me Trish, I like it better when people do. :) Don\'t worry, Ron and Hermione will be back, and very soon... how could I be so cruel as to separate them? *puts on innocent face* I would NEEEEVER do THAT! ...Heh. Are you sure it won\'t be Harry? *plants seed of doubt in reviewer\'s mind* I sure haven\'t been very nice to him recently... Anyways, I\'m glad you like it, glad you like all the stories you\'ve read of mine so far, and thank ye for the extremely long review!!! :D
I really loved this chapter. Good work and the chapter’s nice and long. You’ve left a cliffie, though. I wonder what will happen? And, you’d better let Harry get his wand back. Or else… grrrr! Don’t forget; I’m a teen with a short temper when it comes to something like Harry Potter. Normally, I’ll be amongst the calmest and most patient people in the world. Tease me, I ignore. Hit me, I ignore. Torture Harry, I get aggressive… and you’ve tortured the boy a lot till now (not that I haven’t, you won’t believe how much I’ve already tortured him and Hermione in my Book7 fic… and only 3 chapters are up, till now).
I almost fell off my chair when that ‘hooded fellow’ revealed himself as Tonks (I am sitting at my dressing table right now, my study table is partying in India and I’m already jealous of it, because I want to be in India too. Anyway, this chair doesn’t have a back and if I had hurt my head, my reviews would get even more insane).
Can I make a suggestion? When you make Harry remember Ginny, Sirius, Dumbledore or Luna, you always write that he ‘fought back tears’ or ‘looked down to hide his moist eyes’. Now, you’ll have to remember that Harry’s a boy and ‘boys don’t cry’ (according to the prats I have for my friends- not the girls, the guys). But it’s valid that Harry will have this sort of a reaction when Ginny is mentioned. So, to get Harry more in character, words like ‘sob’, ‘cry’ and ‘tears’ should be used minimally. Write something like ‘his eyes were prickling’ or ‘the lump in his throat overwhelmed him and he couldn’t control it anymore’. Harry’s a git and he’ll die before admitting that he ever cried in his life. You can always use ‘cry’ and all for him when someone dies; no one can help that, whether it’s a guy or a girl. But at times when these random outbursts take place, Harry (well, you’re writing him as the protagonist, and we’re obviously seeing the world through him) will not admit to weeping and all- not even to himself. So you know, the general behaviour of guys is like that, and that is why, they say that girls are stronger that boys and manage to maintain more rational and calm behaviour.
So… long review for a long chapter! Good luck ~Pooja ;)
Author's Response: Hey, why shouldn\'t I torture Harry? You just called him a git!!! :) Sorry about the crying stuff, I\'m terrible when it comes to figuring out better ways to say the same kind of thing. Thanks for the tip, though! ...and thanks for the extremely long review, Pooja! :D (P.S. Harry doesn\'t get his wand back! *cringes* But he does get something really awesome in exchange, so please don\'t hurt me!!)
Uh oh, uh oh, that is the worst cliffie ever! But I love cliffies anyway... good one!
Author's Response: Love the evil cliffies!!! Thanks, I won\'t keep you in suspense too much longer!
Summary: Post-HBP one-shot. Only two days after Dumbledore’s murder, Severus Snape is sitting in Number Thirteen, Spinner’s End. He is thinking about what he has done, and what rewards he has got. Little does Snape know about the vicious trap he has walked into, and the price he has to pay in return …
It was beautiful, Mini. It brought goosebumps all over my body and touched me deeply. You have done a real gr8 job in describing the love of a son for his mother as well as bringing out the dark side of Snape.
Its not that you have turned Snape into a good, charming man; nor have you converted him into a big cheat and a liar and a murderer. He just keeps... hanging in between all through the fic. I just loved your fic!
Thank you for this lovely review, Pooja!
I wanted to bring out Snape\'s Dark side in the story, because I hate him after what he did to Albus in HBP. Later, I thought that leaving the question of Snape\'s loyalty to the reader would be better suited for the plot line. I\'m glad you loved the fic!
