So, I have an author's page. Even though I'm not an official author yet. Working on my first fic. Honestly, it's cool, can't wait to get it up on the site.

This is probably the best Marauder fic I've ever read. I love the way you have continuous "inside jokes" between James and Lily that are in no way cliche. Like the you look better with your glasses on thing. It's so cute. And how Harry calls Sirius, "Siwi." I love reading little Harry! Hmmmm I also like the relationship between Snape and Remus; it's fun to read. I like how Sirius is characterized throughout all of it. He is just written really well.

So yes. Amazing Fic!

Civility by SecretKeeper
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 341]

Summary: THE LAST CHAPTER IS IN! Read, review and enjoy! The first battle of the second War- Dementors illegally issuing the Kiss on Death Eaters- A murder in the Weasley family- Voldemort's plans- Dumbledore's and Harry's struggle. In the midst of this chaos and hardship, Hermione is left feeling slightly disheartened. When Harry and Ron are temporarily unavailable to befriend her, an ironic and seemingly platonic relationship is born. Will it ease the pain of the War's influence, or will it only create further turmoil for a girl that needs anything but? And in the end, a terrible decision is left to be made; one that no natural person would envy.

I liked it except for some things that didn't really make sense, like Neville being in a 7th year potion class. Other than was quite intriguing.

A Thousand Words by annie
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 1740]

Summary: For the rest of the Ministry, the interdepartmental challenge was merely a failed attempt to restore trust between workers. But for Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger, it was the catalyst for an unexpected relationship built on passionate letters, concealed identities, and secret meetings and the beginning of an end that neither of them could ever have imagined possible, not even in their wildest dreams.

Post-war. Based somewhat on the story of the Phantom of the Opera. Also contains R/Hr, so don't read if you can't stomach that ship.

Status: Complete. Thanks for reading, everyone!

Well, the whole read/review bit makes me feel guilty if I don't at least leave something. But then I feel guilty for leaving a relatively empty review. Though if I had any criticism, I would certainly give it....but I don't. So, I love how you're having this turn out. If you just told someone the plot, they would probably think it kind of cliche (the whole anonymous OMG it's Draco? bit) but the writing is wonderful, and the overall plot is very non-fluffy. If it is fluff, it is at least very high-quality fluff. So, there, I reviewed, happy?

I like the way you explain why Draco is the way he is. It makes him more likeable to understand him. It also makes him not "pure evil" but just making choices that have consequences. I like that. I don't believe in pure evil, and in books like Lord of the Rings where there is no reason for Sauron to act the way he does he is just "evil" really annoys me.
Anyway, last comment has less to do with the writing and more to do with the A/N on chapter 1. Write whether you get reviews or not. You should be writing this for yourself.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review and the comments. Yes, Draco is definitely not evil, just a lot weaker than he likes to think he is. At this point, I\'m much more involved in the story than I was after the 1st chapter, writing for myself now!

Warmth by Insecurity
Rated: Professors [Reviews - 80]

Summary: Hermione is abandoned by Harry during their quest to find Malfoy Manor. She is close to exhaustion when she stumbles over her coveted location. She assumes that nobody is home, the Malfoy's are either on the run or locked in Azkaban prison, and therefore she decides to use the manor as a shelter.

This happens to be a Lucius/Hermione story (Yes, I know I am attempting the impossible.) It is rated R for later chapters

I have edited this story down to make it a small ficlet - because I just know I will never get around to finishing it. Don't worry, it still makes sense. I've cut it off at the part where I initially intended to finish it

Yet another story that shows how well you can characterize Merope Gaunt. I absolutely love the way you characterize Tom post-potion, with his mind reeling and repeating. However, I think how you characterized him towards the beginning was a little too witty. I agree that he was probably rich and snobbish, but I also kind of got the impression from the books that he was a bit simpler. Not stupid, just not extremely sharp-witted. Other than that, I really thought this was a good begginning. *is off to read next chapters*

Author's Response: Hmm, I always thought of Tom (from the books) as being quite witty and not stupid enough to take the potion unless something came at him without any hints. He just gave me that impression. But I suppose it\'s all in how you read the story. Thanks for the review!

I like how it is kind of a blend of romance, angst, and mystery; it keeps the intrigue level high. The last few paragraphs were Tom hadn't yet had the potion were so sad because you feel for Tom when he is enslaved, but also for Merope. How Tom treated her there was probably mild compared to the way her father and brother probably behaved. The way you wrote it definitely inspired empathy.

Author's Response: Aww, thanks. I\'m glad you felt the emotions.

I always like fictions that show canon moments from other perspectives. It is so disorienting to suddenly side with another character. Anyway, I like the understanding you get from viewing the world from another person's perspective, and I think you did a really good job of that in this fic. It kind of felt like you understood Crouch, his motivations, his wants, etc. He isn't really someone that I think a lot of people can empathize with. I also like the Harry-bashing...It's not something we see often enough. I mean, I love Harry, but we see everything from his perspective. It's just not fair to the other characters.

One thing I didn't like was seeing Winky's perspective in the end. I think it kind of broke the tension, and it could have been more powerful if the tension stayed.

Overall, I really liked the look into Crouch Jr's mind!

Author's Response: Hmm, yes, I added the Winky thing at the end when this was simply a chapter of a fic I was writing and the Winky part was important to the plot, but I suppose now it could be removed. I rather like it, though, I dunno. I\'ll think about it.

Yes, I loved the Harry-bashing as well. We don\'t see a lot of that in canon unless it\'s looked down upon, yet there are a lot of other characters out there who don\'t like him. I\'m glad you liked this!

I like the allusion most. (Is that how you spell allusion?) Well, whatever, I mean the refrences to other great stories. I especially like Severus being familar with Edgar Allen Poe. I like the ending too, Draco reminding Severus of himself.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Severus seemed the type to memorize poems. Plus, of course, Poe and Homer are just hopeless bedtime stories, unless you want the kid to dream battles and ravens all night. *giggle* Severus can\'t always distance himself from Draco, no matter how much he might resent his role in the Malfoy household. I started writing this just by wondering what their relationship had to be. Probably any relationship with a Slytherin or two in it will be rather complicated, regardless of their ages.

Yeah, wow, you're great with the updates.

Question: Do you really want me to leave a smutty review for every chapter, or should I write a long analytical one for the last chapter?
(Don't worry, it would be analytical as in, wow you're style of writing is amazing.)

Author's Response: My updates will get further apart once the chapters I have written end. The next chapter is the last one I have ready to post, then MuggleNet readers will be caught up with the rest, and you\'ll have to wait longer for the chapters.
As for reviews, I can appreciate any kind of review, but I love elaborated ones the most. But as I said, updates will get less frequent following the next chapter, and although I wanted to finish the story until the end of the year, I can\'t be sure of that.
Well, feel free to do as you prefer, Jeudi. :0)
