Just thought I'd let you know, as it seems neither your beta nor moderator has picked it up - the expression 'could care less' is actually 'couldn't care less' she couldn't care less if the stone was from the street... for example.. in other words it didn't matter to her that it may not have been valuable (from the street).. hope this has been a helpful criticism... Fabulous story by the way - no other faults found!!!
Snape's revenge - nice, very nice.... Loved it!!
Author's Response: Thank you! : )
Fabulous ending, thoroughly enjoyable. Ahh those ever recognisable eyes... thanks for the ride!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I\'m so glad you enjoyed the ending, it was a bit of a challenge wrapping up everything I\'d started. I really appreciate the lovely review - thank you for reading this story, and taking the time to leave such a nice note! ~Gina :)
Read the whole thing in one go - fabulous. I was a little dismayed to discover that I'm so close -yet so far away from the 'final' chapter. I can't wait. I've always thought this was probably the way things approximately happened - possibly with the exception of the wife, maybe. I just adore Snape - he is surely a man of hidden depths...
Author's Response: Hi there! That\'s a lot of reading in one sitting, I\'m so glad you enjoyed it! I know the chapter with Snape\'s wife can be a bit jarring, I\'m surprised I haven\'t gotten more yelps about it. I do think, however, that something very important moved Snape to change loyalties. I can\'t wait to see what JKR has in store for us! As for this final chapter, I do hope to wrap it up soon. Thank you so much for reading this story, and for the wonderful review!! ~Gina :)
"She only hoped she wouldn't lose too many house points" - Made me giggle girlishly out loud... and of course... the "girlish petulance" quote was too funny also.
Well done... still avidly following this. Snape telling her he ached when he couldn't hold her was intense... it made me shiver and deeply wish I was Hermione.
'Til next time...
Author's Response: ah! the feeling is mutual i assure you. i wish i was hermione too xD xD thanks for reading!!
Sorry, didn't mean the chapter was short - I meant the time they had together... sorry for the confusion. This is so great - I never want to imply I am unhappy with your writing or story telling ;)
Keep 'em coming!
Author's Response: hahaha oh no i didn\'t think you were unhappy with it :D but now i see what you mean! well thank you very much, and yes, i too am sad that it was a bit short. but not to worry, reader, things are BOUND to happen... (wink wink)
AHHHHH - so frustratingly short! But the forced nastiness we have to look forward to should be vastly entertaining enough to make up for it... bring it on ASAP! Thanks for your dedication to this creative piece of entertainment. Severus alive is SO much better than him dead! ;)
Author's Response: ;___; yes, i agree completely! also, heeeeey, this chapter was the longest one yet! xD but i will try to keep them long in the future as well. thanks for reading!
Love it, more, more!!!
"And what did Snape say he was going to do to her hair?" - priceless!!!! Her dream was so vivid, scary. And Snape's anger at her minimising his sacrifice was very well done - he's struggling to dismiss those emerging feelings for her, isn't he...
Wonderful, looking forward to the next chappie, don't take too long, please!
Author's Response: yes! that\'s exactly what i wanted to get across with Snape :D thanks for reading! i\'m glad you enjoyed it
My most favourite story I've ever read - just dying to know what happens next. I'm not usually a fan of Hermione/Snape ships, but as I usually have a gander at anything Snape, I was fortunate to stumble across this gem. Brilliant, unique plot - hilariously funny to begin with, now soberingly serious. I kinda stil want it to be Hermione's fault, so he can YELL at her, but I guess you have a whole different direction planned for this. Can't wait to see what happens - update quickly, please.....
Author's Response: wow thank you so much for such a wonderful review!!! i\'m so glad you\'re enjoying it :D
You are forgiven the long, long wait - as you have produced an enjoyable chapter. :D (I'm guilty myself of a much longer wait for the readers of my ficcy on ff.net) Never mind the uneventfulness - I personally think plenty of things happened - and it was nice to just relax and deal with both their emotions about what has happened before we launch into the next round of drama.
Well done... looking forward to more as soon as you can deliver.
Author's Response: oh so good to hear that i am forgiven!! :D i\'m glad you enjoyed the chapter (and that the lack of physical \"action\" did not deter you from liking it xD) Can\'t wait to get out the next update! as always, thanks for reading!!!
Couldn't help but leave a review - the most emotional, stunning piece of writing and storytelling I have encountered in the fanfic world - and even far exceeds many original published novels. Sensational... you are truly gifted. Tears are sliding down my cheek as I write this and I'm not even a Sirius fan, so to speak (not that I hate him or anything), I'm a Snape Harem member through and through - so you've done your job well to touch me in such a way. Well done!!!
Author's Response: Oh gosh, I might just have to print and frame this as my all-time favorite review ever. Thank you so much, you\'ve just totally made my day!! :D
As I'm firmly a member of the Snape Harem, I was dismayed to discover that Severus was the perpetrator of the nastiness in this fic... but, although I first felt the whole 'Snape loved Lily, was hurt, and wished to execute revenge' plot started to get a bit corny in the middle of this chapter, I pushed through it and you managed to rationale his motives and actions enough for me to change my mind. You wrote this well to be able to keep me as a reader, as I remain a staunch Snape supporter, and do indeed believe Severus acted on Dumbledore's orders during the events on the Tower. I'm curious as to if I can poke holes in your 'story'.... so I'll keep reading.... Well done!
Author's Response: Your penname even speaks your support of the man! I\'m glad you liked it despite it\'s Snape-bashing, but I\'ll tell you the truth: I hate Snape and I think he killed Dumbledore for the sake of killing Dumbledore. Thanks for the review!
Enthralling, completely believable and throughly enjoyable.
He really had no choice from the beginning, did he? He would certainly be dead right now though if he had not initially wanted it. I feel for Severus, tricked by the hint of love, I hope he finds what he craves - perhaps from Dumbledore in the future!!??
Author's Response: I\'m so glad you\'ve found your way to this fic! Yes, I think the whole idea of \'choice\' is up for grabs in this story - a bit more nuanced than in canon; perhaps a bit more like real life, eh?
Where oh where is this heading? I'm certainly intrigued. And who could blame Charlotte for her crush on Severus, completely understandable... ;) She doesn't have a lot of natural curiosity about her does she, to get to fourth year and not have heard of Voldypants? Does she get more interested from now on? Update soon, I need to know more...
Author's Response: I\'ll try to update quicker than this time...thanks!
Waiting with baited breath for the rest of this thrilling tale...
Author's Response: Thanks!
Oh my God, she's going to betray Severus - that nasty rotten b__tch....
Author's Response: Thank you - you have pointed out to me that I should maybe have made the end more clear :) But thank you so much for reviewing. My first review, whooooo!
Phew - thank goodness, ya had me worried for a minute. He'll be alright won't he?????? :)
Author's Response: You just wait and see... (*evil grin*). Thank you for reviewing!!!
Wow, what can I say... Severus as misunderstood as I always believed he was. Perhaps a little nicer to Lupin than I expected, and I'm not sure you left room for the Werewolf prank, when I believe Severus' real hate for the marauders took hold, but a wonderful, entertaining and at some points heartbeaking tale to read. Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I guess I think of Remus as the most compassionate of the Marauders, and it sort of intrigued me that he and Snape might have had a brief friendship, especially as Snape still makes him Wolfsbane as an adult. Glad you liked the story!
Oh, interesting. I have from time to time pondered the thought of the existence of a prophecy regarding Severus... hmmmm - wonder what it was about?? Do you know? Do you have any intentions of sharing?
Wonderful job, very enjoyable!!
Author's Response: Yes, actually, this was an idea of a friend of mine, which I\'ll be incorporating into my larger fic that\'s in progress now, but serves my story entirely, although it makes some sense that Snape would have a prophecy about him.
He, he - put her in her place Severus! Dumb, blonde, gossiping scatterbrain....
Loved it - great work!
Author's Response: Teehee, yes, he certainly did. Thanks so much! :)
