I have just deleted my story, Harry Potter and the Search for the Truth. I have not been posting regularly nor has it been up to the standard i wanted when i started. I do plan on finishing this story. When it is complete, i will begin posting so that it won't be held up while i'm writing. I hope i'm not disappointing anyone.
I also post on www.ginnypotter.com, www.siye.co.uk/siye, www.harrypotterfanfiction.com, and www.perfectfanfiction.com so if my story still isn't working check out my work there.
...and which lesser Harry Potter character are you?
Lily Evans has always pushed guys away, keeping her distance away from heartbreak. If she never got too attatched, she would never get hurt.
Yet, James Potter refuses to be pushed away. Will he be the one to actually tear down Lily's walls that separate them?
I just absolutely loved this story. They had troubles getting together and it wasn't just automatic paradise. I greatly enjoyed.
Summary: "What can I say?" James shrugged his shoulders. "We are just obviously,"
James laughed, "Meant to be."
Lily Evans and James Potter share absolutely nothing in common, not even their feelings for each other. Lily, perceived as a ‘model student,’ detests the handsome, popular, Quidditch star James, who she thinks to be something of a git. James, on the contrary, has been infatuated with Lily for years, and has let her and the whole school know it.
As time progresses into Voldemort’s ‘reign of terror,’ the two have to learn to trust, tolerate, and love each other.
Please note, this story is incomplete, and will likely remain so for a long time. I apologize!
I love this. Very subtle falling in love. It;'s like the real thing.
Summary: The war is on and the only person with the power to stop Voldemort's second reign of terror is sulking alone in a cold, dark room. The unexpected arrival of an old school chum in Privet Drive jolts him to action, however, as Harry begins his most exciting year at Hogwarts. Year 6 will include a visit to the ancient village of Godric's Hollow; a first hand account of the 1000 year old quarrel that ripped Hogwarts apart; a Fred and George-style farewell to a certain ex-Minister of Magic; and the discovery of the Half-Blood Prince, a mysterious figure who holds the key to winning the war...
(And, as J.K. says, what's life without a little romance?)
I really like the idea with Ravenclaw's Diarys. I hope to read more about that soon.
Summary: After the death of Sirius, Harry realizes that not everything is as it seemed. The Trio grow tighter, and learn that there is more to their frienship than anyone knew. A secret of their own making will separate them from those they love, but the final battle will not belong to them alone. Will Harry be able to prepare himself for the inevitable, and continue to expand on his various relationships?
This is great. I hope to read more soon.
This story sucked me in from the very first chapter. It is very well written and develops the characters quite well. I espescially liked the final battle and the part in the art museum. Ginny being interested in something other than Harry was a good thouch that not many think to include.
Summary: Harry's Aunt and Cousin have drastically changed. He notices that Ginny is no longer a little girl, and see his two best friends finally admit thier feelings for eachother. And the summer is just beginning!!! Chapter 18 is up, 19 is in the Queue!!!
I love this story. It is so thoughtful and flowing. Harry is quite the gentleman.
Summary: Year six begins in the_bartender's crazy concoction that is the life of Harry Potter. Add one part Harry, two parts prophecy, a mixture of Ron and Hermione, a dash of Ginny, a splash of Dumbledore (and garnish with a certain new knightly character to add a little mystery!)...
Pour over the ice in Lord Voldemort's heart and voila!
You've got yourself a Power of the Prophecy Cocktail, sure to mess you up, spin you around, make you question your motives and turn your wizarding world up-side down.
This is really good. It might be a little far fetched but, what fun would it be if you played it safe. Please keep the chapters coming as is convieniet(spelled wrong?) anyway... I appreciate you writing this. Keeping at it and getting up the chapters quickly.
Author's Response: You\'re very right- what fun would fiction be if we didn\'t stretch it to the max? I\'m glad you still appreciate it and me, and I\'ll definately keep the chapters coming!
Summary: Ginny is now 24 years old. She is well-known and famous. But during a press-conference, memories of her past begin to come back to her. She goes back to the summer she turned 16. The summer that changed her life. But Hermione and Harry are acting strangely. What is really going on? POV of Ginny at first and then changes! HBP spoilers.
This story is wonderful. I am curious to how the "gInny is 24" thing will tie into her reliving her past.
Summary: The most succinct summary ever!! My "Book 7" told with revolving POVs from Hermione, Ron and Harry's perspectives. It's got it all! Romance, mystery, intrigue, Horcruxes, humor, international travel, house-elves, new characters, Voldy, the Burrow, and at least one wedding...
I like this story a lot. It captures your attention from the first sentence and keeps it through the entire story.
Author's Response: Oh thank so much for reading and reviewing. I love hearing from people and what they like and don\'t like about the story!
Summary: At the beginning of 6th year, Hermione Granger stumbles upon an ancient prophecy concerning the Four Founders of Hogwarts. Now, four of the students find that they have a destiny laid before them that can not be turned away from. They are the Four Heirs of Hogwarts and their fate is to rid the world of evil forever.
Oh my god!! this is such a good idea. *kicks herself for not thinking of it first* Please write more, and fast. I really want to know what happens. I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY FOR MUGGLEFOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
This is great stuff!!! I really enjoyed this keep up the good writing!!!
Summary: The eight year War has been over for almost three years and members of the Order and their families are slowly slipping back into normal lifestyles; all except Ginny. Every day she lives with deep regret for turning from Harry and her guilt increases as no one knows if he is alive or dead. A story about the journey one must take to get back the things missed the most.
I really like this story. Keep going, you are doing a great job.
Author's Response: i\'m glad to hear you like my story so much! Thanks for the review!
Summary: Love. Hate. Anger. Relief. Sadness. Join a teenage Lily Evans as she boards an emotional roller coaster, courtesy of our favorite raven-haired teen. Yes, I'm talking about James Potter.
WOW... was Sirius into Lily? I really liked this story. Continue writing, you are a very talented writer.
Author's Response: Thank you!! I also have a story or two on Portkey.org!
One foot in front of the other.
One foot in front of the other, step-by-step, walking –
So careful not to tread upon the crumbling dust and bones that is all that is left of –
This is really good. The first poetry fic I have read. I might have to read more.
Author's Response: I am glad I inspired you! And thank you very much. ~Juli
Summary: Voldemort has been defeated. Neville Longbottom has a comfortable life teaching at Hogwarts with all his friends, yet he is missing something in his life. Then he meets Aurora Hitchcock, owner of a Potions shop in Hogsmeade Village. Together they frantically work on an ancient potion for protection from a devastating spell, in the shadow of a rising threat. Before they can discover the unknown enemy, someone from Aurora’s past returns. What will happen when ancient Potions meet modern Herbology?
This story is soo good. You are doing a great job of capturing the essences of the characters.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I loved doing Molly, she came naturally to me, as did Aurora. Neville\'s fun to write, a little clumsy, things don\'t always come out the way he meant them...a little like me. :) I hope you continue to enjoy my story! Thanks again.
Summary: Ginny's already heartbroken over Harry. Walking in on Ron and Hermione kissing only makes it worse. Ginny ponders how her relationship with Harry began, where it's gone, and where, if anywhere, it's headed.
"It was just so unfair. Hermione would be with Ron forever, and they would have each other during this war, and she would be alone, and sending Harry off to his death…"
A songfic to "Beautiful Disaster" by Kelly Clarkson.
!!!!!THE REVIEWS ARE IN!!!!!
"AH! This was AMAZING, I wish it could go on! Why do songs have to be so short?"
"...Songfics are my favourites, you've written my all time favourite!"
This was really cute!! You a very talented writer. Keep the stories coming.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review. I love to hear what people think about my writing, even if it\'s negative. I hate to be left wondering - what did they THINK about it when they read it? Even if it\'s just a few lines, it really means a lot to me when people take the time to review. So what I\'m trying to say is thank you, mrsmeggiepotter, and everyone else who has left such nice, sweet, kind, feel-good comments.
