Hey, I'm Helz Spellz, I'm 16, and I like Harry Potter QUITE A LOT. :)
I love critisism! If you have something you don't like about my fic, please comment and tell me what it is. Even if you're not particularly polite about it, I love being told how to improve my writing.
Please read Here Lies Fred Weasley, up NOW, and watch out for my longer fic coming up, at the moment untitled.
Summary: It's Draco's birthday, and Harry has planned a surprise for him. But things go wrong. Can the day be salvaged? Written for my dear friend, Fia, for her birthday.
Yay! *loves Harry/Draco*
I like this. Most Harry/Draco fics I've read involve them both being all confused and angsty about their feelings, it's nice to read one where they're both so happy.
Summary: The line that probably best describes the legacy that the Weasley twins left behind after their Great Escape, during Umbridge’s brief rein at Hogwarts. Their legend lasted years afterwards ... but eventually, the only permanent physical reminder was the roped off corner of one corridor, containing a small part of swamp. The mystery of its origins is merely smiled at reminiscently by teachers, and the students can do nothing but spread rumours of how it came to be. When little Janey Weasley starts life at Hogwarts, the mystery is still unsolved. On a whim, and desperate for recognition, she writes home to her father, asking how it came to be. When Ron replies with the true story, a chain of events begins that might just be the making of the next true Hogwarts mischief legend ...
**One-Shot, Post Hogwarts** Now available as AudioFiction Episode #95!
Fred and George make such cool "cool uncles"... I wish I had cool twin prankster uncles... =D
Going to read the rest of the series now. Possibly I'll comment on those too, so you shall hear from me then! :0)
PS: Did Janey sneak some of Fred and George's Speech Control Mince Pies into the kitchens, and thus into the Christmas Feast? I would like that...
Summary: Third one-shot in the Janey Weasley series.
We skip ahead to her fifth year, although this particular saga is told through the eyes of ordinary, Quidditch Captain, Hufflepuff boy, Frankie, as he realises that even though everybody loves Janey Weasley ... he might just love her a little bit more. What’s a young, Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain to do? Ask the people close to her for advice? Ask his team mates for advice? Do something bold and daring for the first time in his life? ALL of the above? I guess you’ll have to read and find out, won’t you?
Awww, I love Janey and frankie! <3 Another great fic!
PS: "not the brightest button on the cardigan" might just be THE most amazing phrase in the history of the world. XD
Summary: London: Four murders have taken place under bizarre circumstances, for what seems to be an equally bizarre reason.
Harry, a happily wedded man with a wonderful wife and a cute daughter, is an Auror at the Ministry of Magic and is now given a new case to solve with Ron and four other Aurors. Incidentally, the four Aurors include Ginny, Harry’s ‘schoolboy crush’; and it turns out to be much more than a crush when Harry sees her again. What’s more is that Harry is working upon a case that seems to connect to him directly. And once again, it opens up old fears: fears of losing loved ones.
Ron, on the other hand, seems to be tired of Hermione. Tempers are running high and fights are breaking out more often than usual. Are they really falling apart? Or can they sort this out before it is too late?
Then there is the case itself. Who is trustworthy, and who is not? Who is deadly enough to murder four people in cold blood?
Indulge into the gut-wrenching action, combined with warm romance and tingling suspense; while I tell you a story of love, ambition and obsession… a story of what those killer instincts can do. EDIT: MAJOR revamping going on, with regard to plot, characterisation, and general style of writing. I would urge you not to read this until I've removed this notice because I wasn't very good six years ago, and this is as bad as I was. *Places traffic cones*
Sorry, I should have reviewed earlier, but I wanted to read the whole fic and was far too impatient to stop!
This is awesome, love it! It's great to have the romance (Ron and Hermione's story is sad, but awesome) and the mystery (murders! Woohoo!) side by side. I almost squealed out loud at the car crash, I was like "Nooooo!" :)
More soon pleasums!
*is stunned into stunned silence*
You have NOT just done that. NOOOO way.
Seriously. No way.
*is still speechless*
Summary: An alternative first year fic that contemplates what Harry's life could have been like if James and Lily had survived. Starts from when they have to elect a Secret Keeper to the end of Harry's first year of Hogwarts.
Great story, your descriptions are really good and I can't wait to see what happens next! More soon I hope. :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I'll get more up as soon as I can.
Summary: When you love someone, the last thing you expect them to do is break your heart ... but it frequently happens. Salt-tears cannot express the pain that a heart crying blood feels. Yet, even though our torn and tattered hearts are in pieces, rattling sonorously around in the emptiness of our chests, we still love that 'someone' because no one and nothing can predict love ... It just happens.
For Rose Weasley, her impressions of her own “love” were shattered when she found out something she shouldn't have, something that made her wish for revenge ... something that made her unable to take it.
Awww I love that!
I really like the way you used 2nd person, it sounds like Rose is talking to herself, going over all the events in her mind. I think you're right that it wouldn't have been quite the same in 3rd person. Great job!
