I know what you're thinking. You're probably thinking, What kind of username is x_lily_evans_x? And I agree whole-heartedly with you. x_lily_evans_x is a username that I'd chosen at the tender age of thirteen and five-sixths, and while most people at that age were capable of thinking wise beyond their years, I was, very unfortunately, not one of their number. And then now, two years on, when I'm capable of a higher level of thinking, I've wanted to change my penname loads of times, but it's just not allowed here. And because I have quite a number of stories up, I just simply cannot be bothered to sign up for a new account. So I'm stuck with that lousy penname. The end.

Summary: "What can I say?" James shrugged his shoulders. "We are just obviously,"
James laughed, "Meant to be."
Lily Evans and James Potter share absolutely nothing in common, not even their feelings for each other. Lily, perceived as a ‘model student,’ detests the handsome, popular, Quidditch star James, who she thinks to be something of a git. James, on the contrary, has been infatuated with Lily for years, and has let her and the whole school know it.
As time progresses into Voldemort’s ‘reign of terror,’ the two have to learn to trust, tolerate, and love each other.
Please note, this story is incomplete, and will likely remain so for a long time. I apologize!
I love this story. Seriously. Not only do you write really well, all of them-- the Marauders and Lily-- are totally in character. I liked the way you portrayed Sirius. He's really funny in this chapter, like when he said, "especially you. You'll poison her." And I thought you handled how he talked to James about Lily very well. He was very believable as James' best friend, encouraging him to go after Lily. And I think it's in character for Sirius to not want to talk too much about his family problems, unlike some fics where he rants on and on about his family. On the whole, I think you did the character of Sirius very nicely. Well done. I'd say "hope you update soon!" but after about a year or more I don't think it's going to happen, and it's sad because you've such a brilliant story going.
Why are you taking sooooooo long to update? I am practically dying with curiosity to find out what happens next. You have got to update. *melodramatically* all our lives depends on it.
Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)
I really love your story! it's so original, and none of the usual cliches we always see, like Draco suddenly turning into Perfect Boy of the Universe, or him liking Hermione for ages (: Your story made me laugh so much. Thank you for cheering me up (my math test went horribly)! And update soon! I can barely wait for the next chapter.
Summary: No one understands how I feel. How could they? They hadn't known James for as long as I have, and they hadn't had him taken away from them by the redhead.
This is a beautiful piece of work. (:
Summary: It's our favorite couple-to-be's 6th year! Lily is outside studying, and James is playing with that darn snitch again, distracting her. Irritated, she goes to confront him and 'politely' (cough) ask him to stop. Madness ensues, and the two have a civil conversation (gasp!). James ends up giving Lily something to think about, though it may not be exactly what he intended.... [One-shot L/J - fluffy]
gosh what a really funny story... I think i almost died of laughing (:
Author's Response: I started to say I\'m glad...But that sounds like I\'m glad thank you almost died. Let me rephrase that: I\'m glad that you enjoyed it! But don\'t die!! ;) Thanks for reviewing love. :)
Summary: Harry is entering his 6th year at Hogwarts. NEWT classes, Quidditch and a new DADA teacher all add up to a seemingly normal year. But what is Voldemort up to now? Where are his Death Eaters? Tortures and killings have started, but how much of it is all just a decoy in the great scheme of things? This time, Harry must leave the comfort of his friends and face his darkest fear.
er... thing is... how can Harry be so scared and traumatized one moment and grinning the next?
Author's Response: I\'ve found that very strong emotions, like grief, tend to hit me very hard and then fade again. Just personal responses, really...
Summary: For the rest of the Ministry, the interdepartmental challenge was merely a failed attempt to restore trust between workers. But for Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger, it was the catalyst for an unexpected relationship built on passionate letters, concealed identities, and secret meetings – and the beginning of an end that neither of them could ever have imagined possible, not even in their wildest dreams.
Post-war. Based somewhat on the story of the Phantom of the Opera. Also contains R/Hr, so don't read if you can't stomach that ship.
Status: Complete. Thanks for reading, everyone!
Good chapter, as usual! was Hermione suspicious because Draco's handwriting was similar to that of Shadow's?
I am captivated. I think you did Draco really well. He's not too bad, and he's not good either. Thank goodness he's not Sugar King. If he is, i might just puke. And I realised something. They could set up their own Quidditch Team! I mean, they have three Chasers (Alicia, Angelina and Ginny), two Beaters (Fred and George, obviously), a Keeper (Ron) and a Seeker (Harry). Cool!
Summary: It's the eve of the final battle, and Voldemort has made a terrible mistake. He has taken away Harry's last hope and joy - leaving nothing to live for. And Harry reacts in a way neither of them had ever quite expected. After all, the most dangerous enemy of all is an enemy with nothing to lose...
A one shot songfic based on Jeff Buckley's Grace.
I just wished the ending wasn't so abrupt...
Author's Response: Sorry about that... It was written pretty fast adn I\'m not entirely satisfied with it. If I was to have another go at it I\'d probably extend it a bit...
Through the years, Dumbledore notices a reoccuring pattern taking place at his school. One-shot.
This was sch a sweet story! I love it! *adds to favourites*
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.
Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.
OHH, write more soon, please! I can't wait to find out what happens next!
Author's Response: Thank you, x_lily_evans_x, I am writing this weekend (and every chance I get, though not enough for my liking!), because I can\'t wait to tell you what happens! I just hope you like it. :-)
I thought it was Lindi too! lol. Then I read what James said and went "phew". (:
Author's Response: Ah, now how do you feel about thinking Lindi could do such a thing? For shame. ;-) *giggles* I wonder how Remus feels… And I think he gave a big “phew” too! Thanks for dropping me a note, x_lily_evans_x . :-)
Summary: Hermione goes back in time with one mission: to kill Tom Riddle before he ever comes to power. A difficult task, correct? An impossible one, she realizes, as a love between them grows stronger than anything she has ever known. Now Hermione has a choice to make. Will she condemn the Wizarding world to almost certain destruction, or will she take the life of the one boy she has ever loved?
Oh no! Oh no! I have to find out what happens next! Do hurry, please!
Oh my god, Hermione went back for nothing. NOTHING!!! But at least she did have someone to love before she got whisked back into the future again. I really hope there's an epilogue!!

This story is getting so bizarre and humorous! (:
Author's Response: I think it\'s always been bizarre, but I think it\'s gotten a lot funnier in the last three or so chapters! :)
Summary: Meet James Potter, a clever, somewhat mischievous, popular student at Hogwarts. He takes every situation in stride and has everything under control, except one: Lily Evans, an amazingly beautiful and intelligent individual. He loves her more than anything, but she despises him more than anything, and a not-so-impressive run-in late at night with her leaves James thinking that chasing after Lily might be hopeless. Then, a series of events happen in James' life, which is topped off by an unexpected visitor that makes his sixth year too sweet to remember.
Is this the end of it? I hope it isn't, because this is one of my most favourite stories!
you are for sure not going to lose me. It's really kinda sad how they only had a few hours together. *sob* please write some more!!! I'm looking forward to the next chapter. (:
Wow. Sirius was really in character in this chapter. I liked how he was kind of nonchalantly amused by the way girls were fawning over him and James. JK Rowling made it quite plain in Order of the Phoenix that he didn't quite care for girls, he seemed like the type to make fun of those girls who were into him and James. So good job on that. However, because Sirius is also a rather reckless person, he strikes me as the kind who'd go for stronger curses at Snape than "Expelliarmus." I was thinking along the lines of "Stupefy". But other than that I thought that Sirius was portrayed perfectly, well done!
Is that job an Auror????? Guess it is.
haha this is just to make it 700. Ok. I'll say more than that. I think this chapter's great. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
