Summary: In this riveting sequel to the "acclaimed" Veiled Revelations, Voldemort has risen to his full strength and is threatening both the wizarding world and the muggle world in an attempt to gain total control. A small group of people - the Order of the Phoenix - are all that stand in his way. Join James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and Lily Evans as they battle the most evil wizard the world has ever seen. (Reviews are always nice and appreciated - and Erik has rated this story 6th-7th years as a result of her incorrigible pride).
Hey Erik! First time reviewing your fiction though I've been reading it for a long time... sorry, my bad ^^". Love the story (guess you can tell or else I wouldn't be reading it would I? hehe). Hope Remus is gonna be alright... hope Sirius doesn't believe him to be spy anymore... this better prove it!!! And yes, I love House too! It's gonna be on tonight so got something to look forward to, that and your next chapter. Update soon and keep up the good work!
Author's Response: BAAA i cant wait for the house season finale! it looks so goood....... um, right. Harry Potter. unfortunately, i dont think that this incident will make anything any better for sirius and remus. in fact, it may worsen the ties, believe it or not, because both remus and dumbledore would never tell sirius what had actually happened.
Summary: Since the tragedy at the Astronomy Tower, Harry has become an even more formidable wizard, but a shocking revelation may mean the difference between life and death for The Boy Who Lived. It is the final stage of Harry's quest to destroy Lord Voldemort - can he save the Wizarding World and those he loves from the treachery of the Dark Lord... and also save himself? [Action takes place in media res towards the end of Harry's Seventh Year at Hogwarts (Post-HBP).]
Words fail me as I try to express the thoughts and emotions that are running through me after I read your piece of art... nevertheless, I will try although it seems quite pointless considering how so many others have basically taken what little words I had out of my mouth.
That was equisitely and beautifully written and I have no doubt that... sorry, let me change that... I have high doubts if it did not wrench at everyone's heartstrings. Your descriptions, your dialogues, your emotions - its almost overwhelming as I visualised everything in my mind.
Most of the battle scenes between Harry and Voldemort that I have read seem to lack that little something that pulls it together but whatever it is you did, it was wonderfully done.
Harry's last words with his friends was far from corny or mushy - yes it was heartwrenching and like the rest of your fans out there, I cried. [My parents are probably thinking I'm torturing myself over my pathology report].
Unlike most though, I do not wish for Harry to rise from the dead... of course, it is your story but I feel like bringing Harry back to life would somehow diminish the meaning of this chapter though I'm sure you'll find someway to make it not so... if you do choose to bring him back. I'm actually not one of those ppl who wants Harry dead in the final battle but I cannot argue with what you have done here.
Your story has captured my heart since the first read and I have only grown fonder and more emotionally attached to it as it progressed.
You are an amazing writer (as well as artist [in drawing as well as writing]). I look forward both to Ch 12 and your prequal.
Keep up the great work!
Long time reader, first time reviewer... and I gotta say, I don't often review stories coz well... a) I'm lazy and b) I'm suppose to be studying... but this chapter has left me needing to express my thoughts on what a fabulous piece of story you've got here. It is now officially my favourite HP story. The plotline is so well developed and you follow canon well as well as bringing more depth to the characters... that well... I dunno what to say except that everyone's pretty much taken the words out of my mouth already.
I'm one of those ppl who don't think that Snape is a bad guy so I'm really glad you bought that around so well. Same with the whole Wormtail and the silverhand/debt theory. You know you've even got my brother hooked which is an amazing feat in itself as he hardly reads! So I applaude you warmly here and am waiting with bated breath for your next chapter. It may be a long wait but it sure is worth it!
Author's Response: What a kind review! Thank you so much for your kind words and I'm happy and gratified that I was able to tempt your brother to read! I'm thinking of starting a Yahoo!Group to update readers on the final chapters, so check back for news on that. Thanks again!
[Final warning: DH spoilers follow.] Three days after the final battle of Hogwarts, Harry must begin the painful task of attending the many funerals of the fallen. The first is perhaps the hardest, and Harry is focused on helping the Weasley family make it through the day—but maybe he still has a few things left to learn himself.
Author’s Note: I’ve read many a good story on the death of Fred Weasley, of whom I have always been very fond. Yet I think I needed to write my own version for that extra bit of closure. I hope you all enjoy, and maybe even experience a touch of catharsis yourselves. And as always, please leave a review! They're a huge help, and will all receive responses.
That was one of the most beautiful piece of work that I've ever read. To be honest, I don't think the 7th book really did Fred's death any justice and this story not only provided closure for yourself but for me also and I thank you for that.
Author's Response: Thank you so much--I know it pales in comparison to anything Jo would\'ve written herself, but I think I needed something, at least--so I\'m glad it helped you a bit too :) thanks again!
