I love this story soo much!!!! You create an entirely separate world really successfully.

Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I only just came across your story, and it's AMAZING!!! I especially love how you keep the characters the way that JKR wrote them (a lot of fanfic authors change the characters around a lot and still say that they're in character...) Oh well. Please update!!!!!!!!!
AHHHH!!! I only "discovered" this fic yesterday, and I absolutely fell in LOVE. I read the entire thing in an hour, and I can't wait for you to update! Looking back at the other chapters, I really love how your Fred and George are soo in canon w/ how JKR writes. They're absolutely hilarious. Great job!
Author's Response: wow...youre a quick reader lol......i dont think i could read over 200 pages in an hour....but im so glad you liked it and welcome!
Summary: A different sort of alternate universe... It is a world under the thumb of an ancient emperor. Muggle society has been oppressed beyond recognition. Wizards rule over all, their only laws defined by power. This is the story of a rebellion, a family, a traitor, and the long road that leads home at last.
I love this story!!!
Author's Response: Thanks!
I love this story! You seriously create your own "alternate universe" and it's so absorbing! I'm not afraid to admit- I'm terrified of your reapers. I had trouble going to sleep last night because I was thinking about this- not a bad thing. It means your writing is convincing! I'm very impressed!
Author's Response: Wow! That\'s terribly cool :) They\'re meant to be scary. Thanks for the kind review.
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.
Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.
I LOVE THIS FIC!!!! I'm one of those people that's read JKR's stuff so many times that I have it all filed away in my head, so now I'm always reading fanfic. I'm on a huge Marauder era fic kick (hey, that rhymes), and I really really love this one. Actually, I was rereading this last night, and when I fell asleep, I had dreams about Remus and Lindi =).
Btw, I really love how you portrayed all the canon characters- Remus is eternally patient, Sirius is funny, reckless, but has a temper, Peter has endearing traits (I really think those authors that portray him as slimy and useless from the beginning are off the mark), and James is just eager to please Lily. I also really like how Lily is shown- opening up to James, intelligent, but kind of mischeivous and sneaky as well (especially as a matchmaker).
Author's Response: Okay, first, Iím thrilled that you would re-read my story. That makes me feel so great. Second, I am dying to know what happened in your dreams about Remus and Lindi. Were they good dreams? I wonder if they will come true. O.O Maybe you could keep a dream diary and we can see if you are a seer. LOL Dreaming about, Remus and Lindi...I just love that. :) Thank you, HJaneWeasley, for the lovely review.
YAY!!!! I love updates!!! Lily is incredible...she's so lively and amiable =)
Author's Response: Thank you, HJaneWeasley. I love updating! ;) I\'m glad you like Lily. She was held in high esteem by the characters that I respect, so I think she would be very likeable. Thanks.
yay! I love how it was kind of drawn out- not completely infeasible where Remus is down, Lindi sees him, breaks down, and confesses her total admiration for him. It took...effort. Yeah, I like that a lot=). Who's at the door? Is it Darlene? Leanna? Lily? McGonagall? Sirius? lol...
Author's Response: Yes, I like things drawn out (just in case that isn\'t painfully obvious. lol!) I\'m glad you like that (here, anyway.) ;-) Only 5 guesses who it is? I should have made a poll on who it might be. But I don\'t have that power, much less know how to do it. ;) Thank you, HJaneWeasley.
Summary: Hermione goes back in time with one mission: to kill Tom Riddle before he ever comes to power. A difficult task, correct? An impossible one, she realizes, as a love between them grows stronger than anything she has ever known. Now Hermione has a choice to make. Will she condemn the Wizarding world to almost certain destruction, or will she take the life of the one boy she has ever loved?
wow. the characters were drawn so realistically, especially in the way tom drew back every time he grew close to hermione. i wish we had seen more of dumbledore, but honestly...this was so good. i stopped after i read the epilogue and just sat to soak in the brilliance :)
Summary: James Potter and Lily Evans weren't exactly buddies at first sight. They began virtually as enemies. Gradually, however, they came to respect each other and like each other at Hogwarts. Somehow, that like turned to an eternal love.
Described through the memories of all who knew them, this is the story that follows them through the seven years in Hogwarts, as their rocky relationship develops into a bond that becomes the envy everyone. This is the story that describes the difficulties that they encounter during the terrible years of You-Know-Who's reign. This is the story of the parents of The Boy who Lived. This is the story of the love between Lily Evans and James Potter.
Chapter Five (Friends?) posted - Lily walks into the world she never knew.
Sorry for the (very long) delay.
Oooh, where to begin? I love that you show Lily and Petunia as friends; there are way too many fanfics that show them as enemies from the start, which I don't believe happened. I'm not crazy about Lily squealing or James being even slightly threatening towards Lily- I think he's a gentleman through and through...well, sort of. Minus the pranks =). I also don't think that Sirius's mum would let him (who's nearly set to be a Slytherin b/c of his bloodline) wander about with James (who it's nearly certain does not come from a similar bloodline), yet I really love that you show Lily's spunk. Great work!
Me again! I love how you show Sirius's carefree spirit, but I really really REALLY love how you're starting the chapters out with the memories from James and Lily's pov's, then continue the pov through the story. It's really creative!
Author's Response: Thank you! I rather liked introducing it that way. Then, there\'s a parallel story that goes along with it ;)
Summary: Since the tragedy at the Astronomy Tower, Harry has become an even more formidable wizard, but a shocking revelation may mean the difference between life and death for The Boy Who Lived. It is the final stage of Harry's quest to destroy Lord Voldemort - can he save the Wizarding World and those he loves from the treachery of the Dark Lord... and also save himself? [Action takes place in media res towards the end of Harry's Seventh Year at Hogwarts (Post-HBP).]
I have been a fan of this fic since the beginning- it's absolutely amazing!!! this chapter made me cry each of the like 12 times I read it. I thought it was kind of horrific, yet beautiful and poetic, the way you killed Voldemort. I loved how you made him FEEL again, before he died, and how he was made to understand why he was dying, and all that. Absolutely amazing. I really have no other words to describe it! please update soon!
I LOVE the last line-- so poetic. and i like how you kept harry pensive but...alive during his chat with his parents. i feel that's more fitting to his place in life now, rather than going all out with angst. terrific job- i REALLY enjoyed reading =)
Summary: Every story must have an end. Harry Potter must now face the greatest adventure of his life. Lives will be lost and love will be found. The only difference between a muggle and a wizard is his ability to believe. Based on what occur in book seven.
I just discovered your story...the style of writing, characters, and plot all mirror JK's so well! I'm really impressed. update again soon, please! :)
Summary: Lord Voldemort is no more, but the victors paid a high price. This story begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermioneís seventh year comes to an end and Ginny's starts. While delving into the ancient story of Merlin, Percy Weasly brings attention to what appears to be the complete collapse of magic. Can he, or anyone stop the changes before it's too late?
Hey, good job, I love this story!
One thing though...in the wonderful world of HP they use "mum" as opposed to "mother" and "mom".
Author's Response: Yes, I thought I had gotten rid of that, too. S.
Summary: A Book Seven fan fiction. Harry Potter embarks on his journey after completing some unfinished business, and receives some unexpected help from an old mentor. Disembodied Voices, Unrequited Love, a Missing Person, a Lovely Wedding, and a Secret Room. Many surprises and unexpected twists lie ahead... Debts are repaid. Revenge transpires. Emotions run high. The hunt is on.
'In Nomine Amoris' is Latin for 'In the Name of Love.'
Follows Post-HBP canon.
Nominated for the Quick Silver Quills: Best General Fiction
I love this fanfic! Some writers completely branch off from canon, but you tie everything back to JKR's work (by like mentioning the budding romance between Lupin and Tonks) while adding ideas of your own. I love it!
I'm so happy you updated!!! (jr. year is the toughest in highschool- I'm sure you'll be relieved when you're done with it). I have two questions though:
1. why didn't aberforth tell albus he had the locket? it would have saved albus from, oh say, dying. lol
2. can a horcrux really be destroyed so simply? by just tossing it in the fire? albus (the greatest wizard who ever lived) seemed to have trouble destroying a horcrux, seeing as he lost use of his hand to it.
great job!!!! this is one of my favorite stories =)
Author's Response: If you\'ll see the explanation I give for Dumbledore\'s hand injury in Dumbledore Prince\'s review response, maybe your second question will become clearer. As for your other question, Aberforth doesn\'t/hadn\'t been communicate (-ing) with Albus. I guess (Confession Time) I hadn\'t really thought out why he wouldn\'t tell Albus about the supposed Horcrux. Sorry to disappoint! I\'m so glad this is one of your favorite stories! Thanks for your review!
