Rated: [Reviews - 2501]

Meant To Be by chloish
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 679]
Summary: "What can I say?" James shrugged his shoulders. "We are just obviously,"
"Completely,"
"Irrefutably,"
"Logically,"
"Undeniably,"
"Unfortunately,"
James laughed, "Meant to be."
Lily Evans and James Potter share absolutely nothing in common, not even their feelings for each other. Lily, perceived as a ‘model student,’ detests the handsome, popular, Quidditch star James, who she thinks to be something of a git. James, on the contrary, has been infatuated with Lily for years, and has let her and the whole school know it.
As time progresses into Voldemort’s ‘reign of terror,’ the two have to learn to trust, tolerate, and love each other.
Please note, this story is incomplete, and will likely remain so for a long time. I apologize!
oh why'd you stop writing? The story is so great!

However, they are forced to interact due to a Divination project that requires randomly assigned students to write letters to their anonomous "inner buddy." The Prongs Complex by Cherry and Phoenix Feather
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 97]
Summary: James finally asks Lily out. The problem is, he chose a roundabout way of getting to her. Plus, he stands a high risk of breaking his neck in the process. Told from Remus Lupin's POV. Rated 3rd-5th years for slight language and mild innuendo on James's part. One-shot.
A/N: Quick note to all: I am sorry, but there are no plans for a sequel for PC. I hate to disappoint you all, but I feel that the story is better standing alone, leaving the rest to your imaginations.

Avenged Sevenfold by SecretKeeper
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 363]
Summary:
UPDATE: Guys, I'm back!
The innocence I’ve lost
The blood it's cost
Leaves unhealed scars within.
But I will not abate,
I will employ the hate
That has been planted deep inside.
I will not falter
Valor will not tire,
And I will survive
This trial by fire.
Many things are different now. Potions class is the least of the trio's worries. Battling dragons would be a welcome alternative to what it is they're attempting to battle now. The Order of the Phoenix is hallow without its leading member. And when someone close to Harry is stolen, Dumbledore's rhetoric of love, hope, and faith is challenged. Harry's strength and resolve are pushed to their limits. Loyalties are tested and new leaders emerge while Harry and Hermione struggle to balance new emotions and uncharted territory. Yet while this time after sixth year proves to be drastically unlike anything Harry's ever experienced, some truths remain, and some affections stand solid.
A novel-type story that explores the engimas of Snape, Horcruxes, war, and above all, the puzzle of love. HBP compliant. HHr.
great story, had me on the edge of my seat!
Lily by Secret Lily
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 479]
Summary:
Lily Evans is not the sort of girl who would normally be found writing in a diary. Yet, when she starts, she finds that the easiest way to overcome all the obstacles in life is to let her emotions out onto paper.
The Fifth Horcrux by king
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 307]
Summary: This story is a sequel to an earlier story of mine called: Harry Potter and the Needed One. You will need to read that one first for this one to make sense. Harry learns that Hermione loves him and admits that he loves her. Unfortunately Harry has a lot of powerful enemies and an awful job that he must do. Harry must become a killer or a victim and he doesn't want a girlfriend. Hermione learns a horrible truth about the Fifth Horcrux. She must help Harry in his quest to destroy Voldemort and at the same time keep Harry alive.
Great Chapter, as always. Poor Hermy. Ron's being a bit of an idiot (understatement) but you know, he does love Hermione. I mean, if I found out my guy was being totured, I wouldn't think about the consequences, all i would do is try to save him. I don't really think i'd give my best friend as collateral though, unless I had another plan up my sleeve. Does he? Please tel me he does. Chess teaches you stuff like that right?
Author's Response: Hi Eve! I think Ron was a bit of a jerk when Harry\'s name came out of the goblet of fire. I mean, Ron and Harry didn\'t hardly talk to each other for three weeks while Harry prepared to face an unknown and potentially deadly challenge.
oh that was such a great chapter! Not Ron though! He is a little prat but, awwwww! So there is a way to take that spell of hermione right? so she'll be able to remember and tell harry everything?
Author's Response: Hi Eve! Thanks for the nice review! It was essential that Hermione not reveal the truth about the Horcruxes because it would threaten Harry\'s future. But now that Voldemort\'s Horcruxes are destroyed and the Dark Lord is dead, she\'ll be able to talk about it. It doesn\'t have to be a secret anymore and the one she loves can release her from her vow.
ooooooh. very nice. great chapter!!!!!
Author's Response: Hi Eve! Thanks for the nice review! A lot of chapter 24 was just Hermione explaining what had been going on. It was all so serious, it was hard to come up with anything funny. Although I did have fun with Bellatrix Lestrange in the fight by the gates.
Blonde when Harry met her, huh? Well I was thinking Fluer but would that really affect anybody? Not Parvati, she has dark hair I think. Wow, I can't think of any blondes. They're young enough to go to Hogwarts and have an effect of Hermione and Harry but aren't Ron and Lavender. Hm.... Not a clue. Can't wait to read it.
Author's Response: School girls shouldn\'t be throwing themselves at boys anyway.
Just out of curiousity, how does Ron know what Hermy saw in the pensieve? Did she just tell him, or did he find out by accident? Ron's a sweetheart, but not the type to trust deep dark secrets w/. Maybe it's just me, but that's my opinion.
Author's Response: Hi Eve! Hermione told Ron in chapter five. I agree with you about Ron. That\'s the reason Harry never told Ron about destroying the Locket and Cup. Ron has no need to know. But Hermione had no one else to turn to.
