This is my favorite story on Mugglenet Fanfiction, and a tie for my favorite fan fic of all time. I cannot fully express how impressed I am with your work. Your writing style is both enthralling and beautifully detailed. Your characterization is loyal to Rowling's but also adds new depth to sides of the less major characters she hasn't fully explored. Your plot twists keep the pages turning, but your story also teaches some pretty powerful lessons. I encourage you to finish that fantasy novel. I for one, would certainly buy it.

Summary: As the wizarding world is overrun by the Dark Lord’s power, Hermione is taken captive. Draco immerses himself more and more in the Dark Arts, desperately hoping no one will find out about a decision that changed his life forever. What happens when the most unlikely person discovers the truth? Who will she tell? What will Draco offer for her to keep it a secret?

excerpt:

Hermione reached up almost involuntarily and traced the silver band branded on Draco’s arm.

“That’s Dumbledore’s mark,” she said softly.

Impressive work! This is a cut above most fan fics. I really enjoyed the complexity of Draco's character. Your descriptions were brilliant. My only complaint is that a few were just a little overused.

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. Yes, Draco is very complex, I guess that's why I like writing him. When you say overused do you mean cliche? I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for telling me.

I loved the train too. Great new characters: Agathan, goblin, mysterious bald man. I'm really excited to know more about the delfini.

Author's Response: THank you. Delfini will be important later, as you can probably guess.

Cool new developements. This story is taking a really interesting turn. I just know it's Ron, isn't it? ISN'T IT?...

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. When you say Ron, are you guessing about who got de-souled?

Thanks for the clarity on Draco not knowing who Hermione is. I liked the idea that she calls herself a squib. How... ironic. Why is Narcissa nice to slaves?

Author's Response: Wow, thank you for all your reviews. I think that's one for like every chapter. Thank you! Hermione, a squib. LOL. I try to insert some humor into this story, since most of it is more serious. Narcissa isn't wholly evil. She is a very round character if you know what I mean.
