Bio:
Let's see, I am a college student braving a degree in zoology, I have five cats that are currently annoying the crap out of my parents, I have honestly read half of the fantasy books in my mother's library, and I have been hooked on HP since the last time I was the same age as Harry. I am currently working on a HG/OCC fic that picks up about a week after "King's Cross." I enjoy writing from Hermione's perspective because I like to think that we have similar personalities and needs.

Meant To Be by chloish
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 679]

Summary: "What can I say?" James shrugged his shoulders. "We are just obviously,"

"Completely,"

"Irrefutably,"

"Logically,"

"Undeniably,"

"Unfortunately,"

James laughed, "Meant to be."

Lily Evans and James Potter share absolutely nothing in common, not even their feelings for each other. Lily, perceived as a ‘model student,’ detests the handsome, popular, Quidditch star James, who she thinks to be something of a git. James, on the contrary, has been infatuated with Lily for years, and has let her and the whole school know it.

As time progresses into Voldemort’s ‘reign of terror,’ the two have to learn to trust, tolerate, and love each other.

Please note, this story is incomplete, and will likely remain so for a long time. I apologize!

The Unseemly Proposal by sparx
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 5423]

Summary: Past Featured StoryThe reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)

Oh wow, next chappie in queue? Sweet! I love how you are slowly bringing the two closer. So much more believable than some out there. Can't wait to see Viktor!

Author's Response: The next chapter's up already actually! I just found it myself! I do enjoy bringing them together slowly as well. That's the way I think it should be, and I'm glad to see it's working out well! Do let me know what you think about the next chapter!

Hey! just thought I'd leave a note saying how much I like your story. While your Remus is more laid back, he still is very belivevable. I love how he has an accute sense of smell!

Author's Response: Isn't it interesting how everyone can read the same books and yet have different ideas of characters? I'm glad, because I enjoy the differences in characterizations while 'very believable'. Glad you like the acute sense of smell!
