I recently just graduated from university (yay!) doing a double major in music and education. I can play most instruments, but my major was on the piano.
To be honest, when the Harry Potter books first came out, I wanted nothing to do with them until the first movie was set to come out. Then I realized I had to read the book before seeing it. Since then I haven't looked back. And once again, I vowed never to write fan fiction, and yet here I am. I have an obsession with James and Lily and the Marauder era, as you can see, but I do try to keep my mind open to other genres if inspiration ever comes.
Hilarious! I absolutely love it! Couldn't stop laughing and my cheeks hurt from smiling too much!
Beautifully written. I was close to tears most of the time (and I don't cry over books or movies). For a while I wondered if maybe Harry was going to show Teddy his memory of Remus in the forest before "dying." Well done!
Well done! Couldn't have put it better myself.
Author's Response: That's so kind of you to say. Thank you!
I like this chapter. I thought it was really sweet that Lily wrote to Remus.
Author's Response: Thank you!
All those hormones raging around? There has to be some kind of drama. I liked this. I wonder whether they'll try for some retaliation anyway.
Author's Response: They almost have to, right? They're the Marauders...
Ah, the fluff. Just when I thought things were finally going smoothly for James and Lily, bam, more problems.
Author's Response: I can't help myself. Thanks for reviewing :)
I love that Lily wrote to James' parents, and his amused response. Poor Sirius, though! It's like everyone is abandoning him.
I totally understand about work, but I'm glad you found some time to post! I feel for Sirius, he just can't seem to win right now (though I loved the "kitchen" blunder). And I can't believe you left us with that cliffy!
Author's Response: Me too! I was going through writing withdrawals! Don't worry, I'm hard at work on the next chapter, so you won't have to wait as long to find out what happened!
All I can say is finally!! A small part of me loves that nobody believes them despite wanting just that. And the part with Dumbledore was priceless!
Author's Response: thank you :)
I like where this is going!
Author's Response: Thank you!!
It's different, but I like it. Lily's gradual warming up to James is a nice contrast to the usual overnight revelation. I can't wait to see what's next!
Author's Response: Thank you! Different is what I was going for; there are so many L/J fics it's hard to stand out
I'm glad the relatives are gone. Anthony was really starting to creep me out. I also love how Lily is in firm denial, even when James is being so sweet.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Lily can't be in denial forever though....
Rather fluffy, but I still enjoyed it. I liked your idea of watching a meteor shower. It's also refreshing that Lily's friends aren't hooking up with the Marauders as is often done, but I like Marlene's playful banter with Sirius.
Author's Response: Ah! I knew I'd forgotten something, should have added a fluff warning :) Thanks for reviewing! It feels like it would be too neat if Lily's group of girls all got together with the Marauders, you know?
I liked this. I know it's canon, but I have always shied away from the Lily/Snape friendship, and my first thought after reading this was a hearty "good for you" in her defense. I'm curious about what will happen next.
