As Happily Ever After As They're Gonna Get by cjbaggins

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: My take on the first of those 'nineteen years' between the 36th chapter of DH and the epilogue.

Warnings: contains an unusually-shaped ring, a nosy neighbour, a rude shop assistant, shaving mishaps, thoughtful gestures, threatening goblins, and, unexplained appearances of Romantic!Ron and Romantic!Harry. You have been warned.

Rating is for *mild* innuendo and *mostly* innocent interactions but I wouldn't let my 9 year old read it.

Any luck with finishing this because its a great fanfic but like some many other great ones it lacks a ending :( Keep on the great writing tho :D

Author's Response: Thanks for checking in. I'm still hoping to finish this story. I had big plans for during this Christmas break, but so far have not had time to write. I still have a week of holidays left, though, so fingers crossed! cj

Al Potter is a brave and world famous Auror, but sometimes, he still needs help from his dad. Especially when faced with his brother, and a dragon.

Wonderful story, I love seeing harry being a kind dad and so forth, Great writing and amazing characters in both this and the first story. If your thinking about writing more in this time period a cool idea would be for Henry to get accepted to Hogwarts, and this is possible because we do know their family has had some amount of magic in their blood and sometimes people just happen to have magic without relatives with a lot, (Muggleborns) , Keep on writing :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
I seem to write a lot of stories about Harry and Ginny as parents of young children, and I certainly enjoy writing them. There will be more. Others have suggested that Henry should be magical, too. While I don't like to disappoint readers I decided a long time ago that neither Henry not Annie would be magical, sorry. Making them magical would be fun, but it would also give me an easy future for them, and I want to make things more difficult.

Some advice is to add a bit more Harry and Ginny perspective to these stories, I love the muggle perspective but I think using both would make the story even more interesting, also I hope you don't just lose Henry and Annie once the potters go to "boarding school"

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
This particular story is almost entirely from Harry’s perspective. As for Henry and Annie, I have plans for them both.

Loved the new Chapter, Happy to see that your back writing again :D, Will this story end with Harry and Ginny's wedding? It would be really cool if it did.

Author's Response: Thanks.
The chapter titles are counting down to the wedding day, so yes, that's where this story (collection of one-shots?) will end.

Hunters and Prey by Northumbrian

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
February 2000 Newly Qualified (in record time) Auror Harry Potter remains obsessed with “The List.” The ten people still wanted for their part in the Battle of Hogwarts. Their capture is essential. It will bring closure to the events of the past few years. Harry has set himself a target. He wants to see “The Last Death Eater” and the other nine captured before the second Anniversary of the battle. His attempts to meet his target will bring heartbreak, danger, pain, and a lifechanging injury for one former DA member.

Nominated for: Best Post-Hogwarts (Chaptered) story - Quicksilver Quills 2012

I love the complexity of this story and the characterization. Really looking forward to more. Once its complete, I'm going to go back and read it again, just to enjoy the uninterrupted experience! How many chapters are left in this story and after this what stories do you plan on working on?

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
There are two chapters left to go, and I'm working on both of them. I hope to get this finished by the end of this year, and I will then return to Aurors and Schoolgirl.
