I think you managed the love not "LOVE" speach from Teddy very well. ;) An awkward topic, but a wonderful story.
Most of us have been there with our embarrassing, unrequited crushes, and I think most people would be lucky to have an object-of-affection like Teddy, who cares about Lily a lot, to do what he can to soften the blow.
The topic is awkward, yes, but so is liking someone in that way who likes you in a totally different way. Kind of like being friend-zoned. Thanks for reading!
Summary: Students in their third year and above can visit Hogsmeade. Only one second year student ever managed to get there. How did he do it?
Nice :) A missing piece that no one ever talks about, but it opens up all kinds of questions and speculation ;) You're version is great!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked my speculation. I've become rather fond of the brothers Creevey. -N-
Summary: 31st October, 2001. Hermione, at the end of an average day at work, remembers a not-so-average day she had ten years ago that changed her life in every way. Trio friendship fic.
The last sentence was the best!! This put a smile on my face for the whole day. :)
Author's Response: Thank you! The trio can brighten up any day (providing that they are together and happy anyway).
Summary: Fame and infamy are closely related. Reputations are not always what they seem. Lavender Brown has a lot of explaining to do.
Ron as Lavvy's first rich and famous boyfriend had me laughing for 2 minutes. I'd really like to see inside Mark's head during the last line. Does he actually believe her?
Author's Response: Thank you. Does he believe her? Well, he certainly wants too. -N-
Summary: She sticks her tongue out and catches a snowflake on it. She feels like a child again. Then she remembers that she is only seventeen, barely out of childhood. When was she last a child? Before she had to grow up and fight and suffer and worry and grieve and feel so old, so tired, as though there is nothing left that this world can offer her.
Ginny tries to face her first Christmas since the war, without Fred, without the usual joy, having lost many of her friends, but most importantly without Harry.
Well written. Your Ginny is a lot like what I imagined. I'm not sure I agree that Harry would isolate himself after the war, it didn't work the last time (OotP) and he seems smart, but on the other hand the whole thing was a big trauma, so...
Author's Response: Thanks for your review - I'm glad you liked my characterisation of Ginny. Fair point about Harry, I see what you mean, but this is how I imagined it. He is smart, and I think in a way he knew it wasn't working, but I also think the way he handles things is to try and fix them, and he felt like he could fix the wizarding world, but he didn't know how to fix his close relationships and friendships and all the losses they had suffered, so he avoids it. And thanks for saying it was well-written, I wasn't too sure about this story. I hope that's maid sense - but thanks again for reviewing!! ~Katrina
Summary: Harry and Ginny visit Gringotts, and find a priceless treasure.
Thank you!!! That just made my day and made me forgot that I'm sick and every muscle hurts. :) You how to take people to places far faraway.
Thanks, and get well soon.
Far far away? I’ll admit that I surprised myself by setting a story entirely within a Gringotts vault, and playing 70's music.
Summary: In which William Arthur Weasley meets, and eventually loses, a beautiful girl. It is something that happens to all fathers.
I like that the story is from Bill's point of view. I feel that in real life there aren't enough Dad's who think that their daughters are precious. It's nice to read a story of love once in a while. (too many social services cases at work recently :( )
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I’ve a friend who works in social services, it’s a job I could not do. All kids are precious, in my opinion. -N-
Surely the stars should have been shining brighter or the moon look bigger or something. Instead everything looked exactly the same as it had the night before and the night before that.
Arthur faces his worst fear on a perfectly ordinary evening.
Poignant. A masterpiece.
Author's Response: Thank you very much :)
Summary: Fifteen years after the Battle, Ron and Hermione reminisce.
Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, but I hope she'd like this.
This story was inspired by a reminder from halfaslug on tumblr - thank you. I dedicate this to her, and Lori (Weasley Mom) because they love Romione so much. (Well, what's not to love?)
:) LOVE !!!
I think living is the best way to honor the dead.
Author's Response: Very true. Thank you for reviewing ~Carole~
Summary: As Angelina Johnson takes the Hogwarts Express back to school for her seventh year, she has a problem.
I like your interpretation of the Fred-Angelina-George situation. :) You did really well getting inside a teenage girls head.
Author's Response: Thank you. I’ve been slowly working through the Fred-Angelina-George triangle, and I’m happy with the timeline I’ve given them. -N-
Summary: The past is a different country, and November 1978 was certainly a very strange place.
Huh. That was rough. Scarily it was very easy to relate to Mary.
Author's Response: Thank you. I don’t often write this sort of story. -N-
Summary: Life goes on, but not the same. Everything living thing grows, changes, and matures. Married life is a living thing.
LOVE IT !!!
Author's Response: Thank you. -N-
Summary: In which Ron encounters some very strange things while staying in a Muggle hotel in America.
Nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts in the 2014 QSQs.
Summary: Sometimes, famous people attract unwanted attention. But minor magical misdemeanours have nothing to do with the Muggle Interface Team, do they?
:) I always smile after reading your stories. Thank you so much !!!
I hope you write a original story and I could repay you in some way for all the times you made my day.
Author's Response: Thank you.
I have so many fanfictions I want to complete, but who knows, perhaps one day, although have no illusions about getting published.-N-
A tale of Dark Age Magic set in Rome, the fading capital of a once great empire and Gefrin, a tiny settlement beyond the edge of that empire.
Cenau doesn't want to die in the Amphitheatre, but escape seems unlikely. Will her friend Rhea be able to keep her promise? Can they escape?
Nominated for: Best General Story (One-shot) story - Quicksilver Quills 2013
:) A very creative bit of storytelling. I think the link between Falco Asalon and Merlin is in no way random. :)
Author's Response: Thanks, that is exactly what I thought when I spotted it. -N-
