Me? Imagine a slightly short girl with black hair. Extremely talkative, never still and quiet, that's me. Nothing special.
I live in Korea(South), so my name is Jiyoung. But I like Jenny better. I'm 14 years old, and I love reading the fics in this site. I like writing too, but I don't post fics a lot here..(mostly because I'm horrible in English) But I keep reading!
P.S. I can't understand WHY I need to learn Physics and Math and everything at this age.. It's bloody hard but nobody else is complaining..
Summary: Professor Granger deals with a pair of students who have inherited a knack for trouble...
I really enjoyed this fic, I think all Humor Fics should be like this. I almost laughed out loud when Ginny said:
WHAT INVISIBILITY CLOAK??!!
Summary: Lily decides she's had enough of Severus' fascination with the Dark Arts. She confronts him about it. Snape/Lily, pre-James/Lily, MWPP era, might contain DH spoilers. Based on the song "Gotta Go My Own Way" from High School Musical 2.
It's just so sad! She's chatting with James right after she stopped being friends with Severus! You did a marvelous job expressing the feelings Severus felt, even though it's Lily's POV. I also liked how James didn't really push her, just said "Okay... Evans."
Summary: In the dark the mind has no distractions. It is free to wander, to dream, to fret and to lose grip on reality. For months, Luna Lovegood and the wandmaker Mr. Ollivander have sat in their dark cell in the Malfoy’s basement awaiting their final fates.
How they deal with the fear and each other will have a major affect on both of them for the rest of their lives.
Is the blonde boy at the end Scorpius Malfoy???
Summary: It has been two and a half years since Fred died and George Weasley still feels the pain of loss. So when Ginny and Hermione turn up at the shop to ask him to fill in for a sick Ron at the Quidditch Winter Ball his initial response is a definite no! But Hermione’s plight, for some reason, moves him and he reluctantly agrees to partner his soon to be sister-in-law to the ball. With new robes and some dazzling dance steps, he little realises that this could be the night his life changes for the better.
Thank you for giving me the dress you wore when you first kissed Granddad.
Wow. Amazing touch. I really like George(or Fred)/Angelina, and this is the best one I've ever read.
Author's Response: Thank you very much for the review - I really appreciate it and am glad you liked the story. I think they're rather an underated couple, so I like reading and writing them, too. ~Carole~
Your relationship with Fred existed almost entirely within a broom cupboard.
You and Fred: a Hufflepuff and a Gryffindor, two complementary souls. In a world where nothing is certain, you find comfort in a dusty third-floor storage room.
Awww that is just sooo sad I feel soooo sorry for whoever the girl is this is truly well written.
Summary: Could Snape’s worst memory be eclipsed by his best? All he ever wanted was to love and be loved by her. Severus finally gets the chance when he and Lily say their last goodbye. This is how it should have happened.
It was great, a simply perfect Severus/Lily. I just loved the way you wrote this, and it was such a beautiful story. I don't know what else to say, it's just wonderful.
Author's Response: Aww, thank you so much. I really appreciate that. <3
Summary: "Voldemort meant little to us then. It was just a name our frightened parents tossed around. They had grown up during Grindelwald's reign - knew nothing but fear. They were paranoid. To us, fear was tangible only in the moments spent considering another loss to Slytherin on the pitch."
Wedged comfortably between two eras of turmoil, the students of Hogwarts never imagined they'd go down fighting. Life at school was defined by teenage rebellion, tough classes, and nail-bitingly exciting Quidditch games. Grindelwald's defeat was news of the past, but some told of a new dark wizard on the rise by the name of Lord Voldemort...
But for Alice Emerson and Lily Evans, for Potter and Black and the rest of her class, that was simply irrelevant. The outside world stopped at Hogwarts' gates until tragedy in their fifth year brought it violently to the forefront.
Wow, this really is a great start! I can't wait for the next one! *Clicks the Next Button*
Hmmm??? The snitch??? Are you suggesting something??? Well, I'm going to find out. *Next*
After it was all said and done, Harry wanted a sandwich. However, Ron knew that what he wanted was far deeper and complex and maddening and insufferable. But could Hermione ever forgive him for leaving her behind? Could he ever forgive himself?
This story was nominated for a 2011 Quicksilver Quill Award: Best Canon Romance.
Hmm... It's great, but I guess it doesn't have much impact on me because I already read Prefect Paralyzed and it was really amazing. But reading again, I see that this story is also interesting. I like the way you wrote Ron's thoughts, that's exactly what he would have thought. You really have a gift in writing, I never could have written anything like this.
Hello again! I think you've reminded me of how many random things I have on my author page, hehe.
I'm glad that you liked the story and found it interesting. I've been told I have a knack for writing Ron, even though he's not one of my favourite characters. Though his thoughts after the war might've been a bit on the dark side, I think he would take the first chance he got to make things right with Hermione, because he loves her.
Anyway, happy reviewing, and thank you for stopping by! If you would like an author recommendation, I wholly endorse Equinox Chick, both for variety and quality. :)
Summary: Oliver Wood was living on another planet from the way he'd planned his life after Hogwarts to turn out, virtually homeless and definitely penniless, but when he finds himself pulling pints at The Three Broomsticks on Christmas Day, a visitor comes and reminds him of how much different things could have been.
Not my favorite, but well written. I liked the drunk version of Ludo Bagman!
And yet another story I couldn't remember what it was about...there are so very many. :/
Anyway, this isn't really my best work, as it was banged out in about 45 minutes to meet a challenge deadline for the purpose of earning points. For some reason I have yet to understand, it placed, but I agree...not my favourite, either. However, I think it's good to step outside of my normal zone and write characters like Ludo because I don't do very often. I rather like him in this, as well. :) Thank you for stopping by!
Summary: On her first night of patrol, Molly Weasley was armed with the basic rules of how to be a prefect, but one guideline had been woefully omitted from the list: what to do when a handsome delinquent robbed her of her ability to think.
Scorpius and his drawling and his smirking!!! The way you expressed him was so realistic, and I'm sure that's what he would have done if J.K.Rowling ever wrote about him. I also liked how you expressed Molly's thoughts so well, and how you added the rules.
Oh, Scorpius...I normally make him a little nicer, but here and there, it's good to show shades of Draco in him.And yay that you thought he was canon-esque. That is high praise, indeed.
Molly was fun, because she can be like Percy, but also has a wild card when it comes to characterisation, as we know nothing about her mother, Audrey. She could be a stickler or a wild child, and it's fun to search the span of both in the quest to find the perfect character. I rather think she's like this, though.
To be honest, I had to go back and reread this story because I didn't even recognise the title, it's been so long since I last looked at it. Thank you for putting this story back on my radar and how much fun it was to write.
Summary: It’s April Fools’ Day. Lily Evans wants nothing more than to escape, but she's caught off guard by someone she'd prefer to forget.
This is PoeticallyIrritating of Ravenclaw writing for the 2011 Aprils Fools' Day Challenge in the Great Hall, Prompt 3(A).
Fun, good enough. But the ending was a bit confusing. Maybe it would have been better if it was finished right after the kiss, since it's a Severus/Lily. (But I guess I'm not the one to give advice, I'm a horrible writer.)
Summary: Remus had never really considered the possibility of having a girlfriend. But is there a girl out there who can change his mind, who can crawl under his skin until her existence is what ties him to life?
Wow! That's so sad. And it's sweet, how Remus went for her immediatley. It explains why he didn't want to marry Tonks.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad you enjoyed it, though it is sad (I think a lot of Remus' life is sad), and I always thought there was another reason he was so tentative with Tonks - apart from the fact he was a werewolf. Thanks again for reviewing! ~Katrina
Summary: When Lily Potter is humiliated by her brother, she sees her chances of a date with the lush Greg Cadwallader disintegrate. But rather than hide away in the kitchens, she decides this time that James has gone too far. She wants revenge, but how does she get the punishment to fit the crime?
Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling or have any drop of Weasley pranking blood in me.
This story is for Olivia (Apollonius) who likes a certain ship as much as I do, and has written the odd prank in her time. Happy Birthday!
It was so funny! I really liked the ending, it had so many possibilities!
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I have actually written a chaptered fic called High, which whilst it's not directly related to this story, it does feature Scorpius and Lily :) ~Carole~
Summary: Victory Day. A day of celebration and remembrance . For Lily, it is also a day of confusion and sadness. She wants to understand in a world that knows no terror. This year, she'll discover exactly what Victory Day means to her.
Winner of the 2012 Next-Gen QSQ Award
This is true literature!!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm smiling ear to ear right now :)
Summary: For three years, Oliver Wood was an important part of Hermione’s life. He had been there through all the fights, the tears, and the seemingly endless piles of homework. He was her constant when all else fell through.
And now he is leaving.
But how do you say goodbye to the boy who told you what to expect in terms of school and exams, who made your third year bearable, memorable even? Nominated for the 2012 Non-Canon Romance QSQ Award.
It was wonderful, the way you finished off like that. It sounded... beautiful. I really liked it.
Summary: Helena Ravenclaw spent centuries keeping the secret of her mother's diadem from everyone.
So what made Tom Riddle different? This is AidaLuthien writing for the Great Hall Cotillion Challenge.
He seemed so sincere, and it was all a trick! I can't believe it!
Summary: A story of how Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy evolved from being two people who never spoke to each other to being two people who broke all of their families expectations to be with each other.
I liked it! Please go on with the next chapter, I can't wait!
Ginny Weasley is where she used to dream to be someday. She is being hailed as the next great Quidditch player. She is the starting Chaser on the Holyhead Harpies and is playing Seeker for the first Unified United Kingdom Quidditch World Cup team. However, Ginny has discovered that being a 'Quidditch star' has costs. You have no privacy, and people will talk about you, saying things that have little or no foundation in truth.
Ginny is facing a turning point in her life. She will be going up against Viktor Krum and the favored Bulgarians. She also has a long term contract with the Harpies awaiting a signature after the match.
And there's always Harry Potter, the other part of her dream. Can she or does she still want both of them as the main part of her life?
Is Maryam a girl or boy? Is Gwenog a girl or boy? Is Georgette a girl or boy??
Whatever. I still think your works are amazing. :)
Author's Response: Gwenog Jones is the world's best and famous female quidditch star. According to JK Rowling. she is the Captain of the Holyhead Harpies
Summary: The story of Ron and Hermione through a series of missing moments. Who said love was simple?
Your writing is amazing, and I enjoyed every single part of this story. Thank you, for writing this simply wonderful story and lighting up my life.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading and the kind words! It really means a lot when people take the time to review so thank you :)
