AlwaysSnily, that's me. :) I read stories you have written and I review them. I haven't presently published any stories. I have a Draco fic written, I just am searching for a Beta reader.
I love this chapter! I never thought about the fact that Draco must have been watching while Hermione was tortured, much less that he might have felt remorse. It made me think.
A short, cute story! I think if Ron could read this even he would like Crookshanks more. That just seems like such a Hermione thing to do- she's a bossy know-it-all, but she has a good heart. One thing, though- Fred and George only start breeding Pygmy Puffs in the 6th book. Awesome job for a first fanfic! I hope you write more!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading and especially reviewing!! Yea, this was my first story, so it's a bit, ummm, laking?? I like it though, it's like my first born. I couldn't bear to not submit it :) Yes, I was wrong about the Pygmy Puff fact, and I'm going to rework that bit and make it a different magical creature! Thank you so much for both of the lovely reviews! They honestly mean the world to me! Cailee
This is Eleanor Lupin of Hufflepuff writing for the Great Hall Cotillion!
Awww this is so cute! I love how it introduces new ideas, such as Andromeda was a Metamorphmagus and that the Blacks might look down on Metamorphmagi. I am also amazed by the fact that you took one moment in Andromeda and Ted's lives and turned it into a beautiful story.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! I'm glad the metamorphmagi thing worked. :)
Your story made me cry. In a good way, of course. Give yourself a pat on the back; the amount of times I've cried while reading is next to nothing. For a short while, I was sucked into Viktor Krum's world, from his loneliness to his passion to his brusque way of expressing himself. I was begging Gabrielle through my computer screen to live, pleading with Viktor not to kill himself, and cheering when he was saved. The few minutes I spent with Gabrielle and Krum have truly made my day magical. You write wonderfully. Thank you.
Author's Response: Thank you! What a magical review! :)
I love your imagination and your humour! I was laughing so hard imaging Sirius all dressed up in girl clothes. Who says Lily doesn't have a mischievous side? And contrary to what you said before, I found James completely in character. Stealing the quill, blackmailing Lily into going to Hogsmeade with him- priceless! Keep up the great work. Your writing is a treasure!
Author's Response: Awwwwww!! Thank you so so so much!! So many compliments in one review! I love it! I just don't know what to say! I'm glad you liked it. I didn't know how it would go over, because I've been told that I have the sense of humor of a rock, but I'm so glad you found it funny!! I don't know you and I love you now! I think I may be reaching the limit of explaination marks, so I should stop! Thank you so much! Cailee
This is actually hilarious. I loved it. It's just like Percy to form a relationship over spelling mistakes. Maybe a sequel is in order?... :) Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for the review and I'm pleased you enjoyed the story. Not sure about a sequel, although writing 'Unrobed by a Passionate Flame' might be fun. ~Carole~
This is a truly touching insight into the life of a Squib, a perspective which at least I have certainly never seen before. And even though Filch is a miserable old grumpus, we all love him (or at least I do) deep down inside. If Filch had died in the last book, I would've bawled my eyes out. My eyes even watered a little bit while reading this short, but sweet, tale. Filch is so much more important than he thinks and we all think he is. It just took this singular narrative to show me that. Every time I relive the Battle of Hogwarts, whether through the books orbthe movie, I will remember this. Thank you for a wonderful read.
Author's Response: Thanks for your kind words. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Mr Filch. Can you imagine taking care of that enormous castle by yourself without benefit of magic?
You know what I don't understand?
Why this doesn't have any reviews yet.
It's wonderful writing. It really is. Usually, I don't read rarepairs, cause there's no chance of it ever happening. But I just decided to read this one, and you know, I'm glad. Since it was a songfic, it didn't have too much of a plot, but it had way more than other songfics I've read. I think the highlight of this story isn't the plot, but rather the writing. You write with a natural, easy, engaging flow that pulls the reader into the story. Would a sequel be too much to ask for? ;)
Author's Response: Hello! Sorry about the late response, and thanks for reviewing this story!
Ah well, I'm not sure slash fics get many reads on here-- and I'm a new femmeslash writer, and there are many authors who write femmeslash much better than I do! So I guess that's why many people don't review this,. But I'm so glad you did, and that you enjoyed the story! :)
To be honest, I don't write rarepairs either. I'm a Ronmione and ScoRose shipper and rarepairs and minor characters are really not my thing. I'm so happy you enjoy the writing, though! That's the biggest compliment I could ever receive! :) A sequel is... kinda out-of-question I'm afraid, because I'm not sure I don't want to write more of this pair-- and-- I think I've finished their story. :)
