AlwaysSnily, that's me. :) I read stories you have written and I review them. I haven't presently published any stories. I have a Draco fic written, I just am searching for a Beta reader.
Rose was a Weasley. She never gave Scorpius Malfoy a second glance. They were sworn enemies, even though they’d barely even spoken to each other. But sometimes all it takes for love to blossom is a Potions lesson, a few snide remarks and a dropped book.
Two people. Two entirely different worlds that are suddenly intertwined.
Your story blew my mind. I had to remind myself you weren't JK Rowling to keep myself from utterly fangirling. And even then it was hard; when I saw the word 'fin' I literally almost screamed. I don't know why, but rest assured it's a good thing. Anyway, I'm begging you for a sequel. I need to find out how Scorpius proposes. He does, right? So incredibly good. I think now I'll go check if that duck pond scene you mentioned is published. Cheers! Keep writing amazing fanfics that half-convince me you're our Queen herself!
What could possibly be a higher form of madness than falling in love with someone who does not share your feelings? Well, for starters, if that person happens to be your best friend, then that certainly qualifies.
Albus Potter has fallen prey to this quandary, and through a self-exploratory journey, he learns much about what it’s like to love and what it’s like to lose himself.
This placed second in the February Great Hall Month of Love Challenge - First Love.
This fic was nominated for a 2010 Quicksilver Quill Award - Best Same-Sex Pairing.
Your story was really good, to say the least. To say the most, well, I'll just let you know it was one of the best same-sex pairings I've read in a while. The thing that capped it for me was the realism. How awkward would it be telling your best friend that you're gay and in love with them? And then, there's a major chance that they might not like you back. Thank you for a refreshing story!
The thing that bothers me about most romance is that is doesn't tend to be, well, all that romantic. While I would love for every ship I support to have a happy, hopeful ending, it's terribly unrealistic for that to be the case. I'm glad you agree and that sometimes, sad endings tend to be the norm rather than the exception.
I wanted Albus to know that his relationship with his best friend wasn't ruined because of something he couldn't help, so I had Scorpius kiss Albus just to be sure and because he cared about him enough to at least try.
Anyway, thank you for your lovely words and input. I really appreciate it!
Alexandra Quick returns to Charmbridge Academy for eighth grade, angry and in denial. Unwilling to accept the events of the previous year, she is determined to fix what went wrong, no matter what the cost. When her obsession leads her to a fateful choice, it is not only her own life that hangs in the balance, for she will uncover the secret of the Deathly Regiment!
This is the third book in the Alexandra Quick series.
I cried. Your story- it's so real. So compelling. In fact, I'm still crying. And yet I can't wait to read more. I've read all three of your stories. There's not much to say about them except that when I'm reading them, in my mind, I'm Alexandra. And I am so glad I read them. Thank you so much.
Brilliant so far! I loved the touching insight into Draco's life, how hard he works to make his father proud. I started browsing through the romance section hoping to find a good love story to cheer me up, and I get so much more. It's me who's begging- begging you to finish this story!
I need to keep reading, it's so good, but I just want to point out one thing: I don't know if you've realized this, but Slughorn uses ANapnea on Marcus Belby in the Half-Blood Prince, to prevent him choking on pheasant. Love your story!
I don't even know what to say; your story left me speechless. It's that incredible. I have to admit, though, there was something gratifying about watching Ron and Draco fight like that. Sort of fighting over Hermione. In all the other Dramione fanfics I've read, the authors seem to forget that there was ever a connection between Ron and Hermione. Ron just sort of takes it lying down. It's so good that you kept it real. Your story is so powerful; I've always been a steadfast Romione shipper, but I can feel my heart slowly turning... Every time I finished a chapter and there was that next button there, I was so happy, because I didn't want the story to be over. Not yet. I just rushed on through and didn't really bother to leave any reviews, I was just so eager to learn what happened next. I apologise sincerely for not leaving any reviews, though you definitely deserved them, that's a given. But don't worry, you aren't missing much. I mean, how many times can you tell somebody how magnificent their story is? Please, please, I'm begging you on bended

Author's Response: I am utterly speechless by your amazing and wonderful words of encouragement. Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the very bottom of my heart!!!!!!!!
I agree with you regarding Draco and Ron's fight- that fight had been brewing since 1st year, and it just needed to happen. I want so much to keep everybody's actions and reactions REAL- that's the basis of my story- could all these things have happened realistically?
The fact that you, a Ronmione shipper, even had thoughts of Draco and Hermione belonging together, is a supreme testament to what I've been trying to accomplish. I'm so very, very glad that you have enjoyed my story as much as you have. It's a writer's dream come true! I'm really excited to hear what you have to say about the next chapter- because *sniffs* it's the last one. But, never fear, I am writing the sequal!! Hermione will still have to come to terms with her feelings for both Ron and Draco, but look for some good romance up ahead! :D
Again, thank you for all you've said- I'll never forget your words. Ever. Luv, Stef :)
Ooh, things are heating up between Parvati and Dudley! I'm sure it's just my romantic fool side, but just imagine if he proposed at Harry and Ginny's wedding! This chapter was a little slower than the others, but that's fine- you can't have action all the time, can you? I'm really looking forward to the next chapter and finding out more about Greyback's plans with the sword. And thank you so much for the shout out! You're too kind; I'm just letting you know what a great read your story is. Keep writing!
You said at the beginning of this chapter that it was a rather long one. Truthfully, I hadn't noticed. In my opinion, the longer the better! I was struck by how true to the actual books the wedding was. Ghosts, house elves, and talking portraits- I never thought I'd say this, but poor Dudley! And not just because of Harry's (very) magical wedding, but because of the way Rita twisted his words (as we all knew she would) and Parvati, and his hopes for boxing again being let down, and that mystery person at the end... I bet it was Fenrir Greyback! It was good to see Draco again, too. I look forward to the rest of the story! Please publish it soon, please!
This is really good writing! I've read tons of fanfiction about Harry, Hermione, and Ron's lives after Hogwarts, and other witches and wizards, but none about how the Dursley family carried on after being uprooted from their home, jobs, and their normal way of life. You write with a fresh and skilled hand. The story is pulling me in. I can't wait to read more!
Your story becomes even more interesting as Harry's world and Dudley's begin to intertwine. I especially like how you captured Mr and Mrs Dursley's personalities, right down to the bacon- Dudley's birthday breakfast in the very first book.
Ooh, things are starting to heat up, both between Parvati and Dudley and in the wizarding world. Death Eater Escapes From Azkaban? So this isn't just a happy go lucky and-they-all-lived-happily-ever-after story. It's got a slice of mystery... a dash of intrigue... I like it! Keep on writing!
I'm not going to write a long review this time, as I just can't wait to continue reading! So the notorious criminal who has escaped from Azkaban is the werewolf Fenrir Greyback! And Harry is finally introduced into the story! I hope he can stop them from erasing Dudley's memory in time; I don't want him to forget Parvati, and since he was in Diagon Alley, it's not as though he had no idea what magic was, right? Just one small detail to point out- Fenrir Greyback isn't actually a Death Eater; Voldemort never gave him the Dark Mark. But you know the Daily Prophet- forever messing up!
Oh. My. Gosh. Complete cliffhanger! Now I know where I heard the name Sinistra before. I need to read more, to find out what happens with Greyback and Rita Skeeter. I can't believe that devious, scheming cockroach is still around! And what she wrote to Dudley- completely her character's style. I really hope Dursley makes it up to Parvati. My heart absolutely broke when Dursley said that to Parvati! Not only because they would be perfect together, but because Dursley doesn't understand that contrary to his parents' opinion, Muggles do have a place in the wizarding world. Why, Severus Snape, one of the greatest wizards ever, had a Muggle father. I can't wait to read more!
Gosh, I actually didn't expect Padma to come into the story. What a twist! I find it so funny that Dudley escaped through his bedroom window, just like Harry did all those years ago, in his second year at Hogwarts. What I don't understand, though, is that since Hermione knows that Rita Skeeter is an unregistered Animagus, why can't she just blackmail her right back? Gonna keep reading now!
So Greyback stole the sword. What on earth does he want with it? I'm relishing the mystery aspect you've added in. Need to keep reading!
Great as usual so far! I'm glad that Dudley is striking his relationship with Parvati back up. One thing- Dudley didn't actually get trapped in the glass; that was only the movie version. Keep up the good work!
Oh no! Why must you torture me in this way? I want to read the rest! No, correction- I need to read the rest! I need to go to Harry's wedding! Watch from the sidelines as Dudley and Parvati's relationship (hopefully) flourishes! Shudder over Rita Skeeter's deliciously scandalous article! Chew my nails half off while imagining in terror what Greyback has possibly got planned with the sword and that poor girl! Please, please write more, and soon!
Author's Response: Oh Merlin thank you for all the amazing, detailed reviews! I'm sorry about the slip-up with Dudley getting caught in the reptile cage; I must have watched the movie too many times... I'm really glad you're enjoying this story and I will try to update as soon as possible. I like to bring Rita Skeeter into all my stories, she's just such great fun. And you might perhaps get a glimpse of Draco Malfoy later on... Thanks again for your enthusiasm, it's really appreciated! Cheers :)
So far I'm loving your story! The parts that reference to the Golden Trio generation male me sigh, the parts with Scorpius and Rose make me laugh (I so want them to get together!) and the parts with Tristan make me itch to know more. This story is beautifully crafted- keep up the good work!
Your writing is so engaging- I sort of forgot it was only a story! Congratulations!
