I love Harry Potter fan fiction, because it allows my imagination to run free!
I probably could be doing something more productive, but since I love to read and write, and hope to be an author one day, this doesn't seem like a whole waste of time!!!!
I love this site so much. It really let's me challenge my mind and see things in a whole new light.
Go fan fiction!!!!!
EDIT: I am a poetry nut! So watch out for all my poetry and you can even check some of my poetry out on Poetry Anyone? in the Beta Forums, if you are able to get an account. :) Also watch out if you write poetry, too! I am sure to review it, and possibly leave behind a critique!

Summary: Winner in the Best Mid-Length Story and Best Romance categories in Round One of the Most Potente Passions SSHG Awards.
It begins the summer after Seventh Year, when the war is raging on, with an unexpected moment of tenderness. What is this inexplicable feeling Hermione experiences? And how can she get Snape to discuss it with her, when all he wants to do is avoid her? Rating for last chapter, only.
What made you think of something like the enchantment? It was perfect! And it totally pulled me in! Goodness, it makes me want my own person to share this Enhantment with!!!!!!!
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.
Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.
I had been wondering when you would update... Yay!!!!!!!!! I know the first time around I have you a hard time on Lindi's character, but I want to say that this story is in my favorites, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. :) can't wait for more, and hopefully it will be soon, since it took a while to remember what happened...
Author's Response: Haha!! Don't worry about giving me a 'hard time' about Lindi. I'm sort of used to it. ;) Some people like her, and some can't stand her. At least you didn't tell me to kill her off or anything! LOL I really appreciated your review, as I do this one. I'm honored that you have it in your favorites. Thank you. And it should be soon. I thought it would be up by now, but had a family crisis. It's always something, so I won't promise anything, but as it is written, and beta'd expect it very soon. I hope it isn't disappointing. Thank you again, for reading and reviewing, Nagini Riddle. :)
Remus, buck up and either tell her or forget about her!
Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter! I especially loved Sirius in this chapter, and Lily was fun to read, too. And Lindi... I am in two minds about her. She is an idiot, but at the same time I want her to be happy with Remus. Will this end happily? (okay, don't spoil it for me. If it ends sad, I will still have loved the story!)
Author's Response: :) What does it say about my old brain that I can't remember what Sirius does or says in this chapter? Don't answer that!!! *sigh* I am taking too long to write this./captain obvious] I'm so glad you enjoyed it, though, and yeah, I can't tell you that or it would spoil it. Of course JKR destroyed any hope for a completely happily ever after didn't she? Poo on JKR!!!! Of course, we knew all that before we even started reading/writing Marauder stories, so we were warned weren't we? *reconsiders total AU* Thank you for reading and reviewing, Nagini Riddle. It helps keep me going. :)
Well, it took a while to read through the entire story, but I must say, you have me hooked! However, I realize that you have made Lindi a despicable character- at least to me she is. At firt I was lookin so much to the romance between Remus and her, but after reading so much about her, I feel like Remus deserves better. I came to really look forward to Lily and James' relationship more. Still, I feel like Remus should tell Lindi about his werewolf condition. But perhaps she doesn't deserve to hear about it. I am having a battle with myself over this!
Overall, this is a really well written story. I stayed up all night to finish it. I love the initial premise, and I hope that Remus ends up with a somewhat happy ending in your story.
I have to say, as a side note, that I find it funny that Remus ended up with Sirius' cousin. When you had Remus look at Tonk's picture earlier, I had to laugh. If only Remus knew what the future held. That's pretty much a good message for any one out there: that though things may look bleak now, our future can always be bright. The Harry Potter series really does end with that message.
So, I beg you to continue this story! Update soon! Don't give up on this!
Thank you for taking the time to write such an entertaining story. :)
Author's Response: Oh, dear...first off, thank you for such a thoughtful review. I'm so happy you are enjoying the story. I'm also glad you enjoyed the little Tonk's part. I must admit, I'm definitely NOT a Remus/Tonks fan, but I did like throwing that in there :) And I love the message you got out of it. Very optimistic...lovely... But to Lindi...oh dear...I certainly did not mean to make her despicable, though I know some people can't stand her! LOL I'm sure Remus does deserve better, but of course, no one is good enough for him! But truly, I find Lindi rather pitiful and ...well,rather than try to defend her, I'll leave it to the story and you to decide in the end how you feel about her. I long ago realized that I saw her differently than many readers and that I often misjudge how readers will take her or her actions, though I did warn a long time ago that she might do something to make people who did like her wish they'd never recommended her for an award. Ha! Thank you, again, Nagini Riddle, for taking the time to read my story and leave me this lovely review.
Summary: Some animals are more familiar than others -- this is the story of how Severus Snape acquired his familiar. This story is a one-shot prequel to Master of Enchantment and will make more sense if you read MoE first.
How sweet! I loved the cat! And I'm glad you decided to share such memories with us. :)
Summary: In the best tradition, Severus must meet Hermione's parents to seek their blessing. Just how has Dumbledore meddled THIS time? This story is a sequel to Master of Enchantment, as well as Bast, though it may stand alone.
Those darn boys will have to keep waiting too, right? *grins wickedly*
This made me laugh! What an uncomfortable situation, and I cannot believe how fast do many authors jump to the conclusion that Dumbledore is a meddlesome matchmaking fool! But I love it anyways!
Summary: Hermione and Severus are approaching their last major hurdle: informing Harry and Ron of their engagement and plans to marry. Severus sulks and intrudes on Lupin and Tonks while the Dream Team convenes. Later, Severus has this velvet box to show to his bride-to-be. This story is a one-shot sequel to Master of Enchantment, Bast, & Meet the Parents.
Poor Ron!!!!!!!!!! That's all I can really say after reading this. I love this story, though! What a great series!
Summary: Emmeline Vance was murdered. But the most important question was never asked -- why? There's more to this story that was told in the pages of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Wow! What a great idea! I had fun reading it, although I am still a Severus/Lily fan. :) great job!
Summary: Merope Gaunt is a completely unremarkable person in almost every way. Her burning passion for a certain Muggle, Tom Riddle, shames her family, who as Pureblooded wizards are disgusted by Muggles as a whole. When Merope is finally free from her families clutches, she pursues her lust for Tom Riddle, relying upon magic to bind hime to her. But how exactly did it happen?
Oh my goodness! I want to read more! Great job! I feel so bad for Merope. I wish her life had turned out better. :(
Summary: The story of the wedding of Hermione Granger and Severus Snape, told through a series of newspaper articles; later on, we visit Hermione and Severus on their honeymoon. This story is a one-shot sequel to Master of Enchantment, Bast, Meet the Parents, and Meet the Boys. It is also non-HBP compliant.
Teehee! I love Rita Skeeter and I thoroughly enjoyed the newspaper articles, and how they kept changing. :) ingenious.
Summary: Far away from his Hogwarts dungeon, Severus Snape wakes up next to a sleeping woman. Ah, brave new world!
Hmm... What an intriguing piece of literature! I'm still allowing its message to sink it.
Great job! ;)
Summary: This story is a sequel to Master of Enchantment, Bast, Meet the Parents, Meet the Boys, and Meet the Beetles. The honeymoon is winding down as Severus returns to work; Great Aunt Seraphina arrives for a visit, bearing gifts.
Squeal!!!!! What a wonderful story! I loved the hysteria and am jealous that you have a very imaginative husband to work with for your stories!
Great job! I hope that this story keeps continuing and continuing and continuing...
Summary: Best friends don't kiss. Severus Snape breaks this rule on account of a bet and learns a lesson.
Thank you so much, Ravensgryff, my Beta. Without your revision and guidance, I doubt I would have gotten very far.
Eep! I loved it! Now if only someone dared Severus to kiss Lily... :)
Summary: "I ran up the door, closed the stairs, said my pajamas and put on my prayers, turned off the bed and hopped in the light, all because you kissed me goodnight."- Anonymous...
...Winter Snows Holiday Challenge # 3: A KISS FOR THE AGES...
A fairy-tale and scenic day brewed into a cauldron of war and death. Yet this is the day that will sing her song and change her life forever.
Enter the world of two friends, soon to be lovers!!
My first fic on muggle-net! REVIEW! --
one raffish raconteuse
So sweet! I especially love the quote you used.
Summary: Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!
Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.
* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *
(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)
Omg!!!! I loved this entire story! It took me a while to finish, but I can see why it kept winning all those years! :) I love the Princess Bride and I also love the Enchanted Forest Chronicles (Dealing with Dragons is the first book). I laughed so many times! What a beautiful style! I'm curious though: what happened to Snape and Lorelei? Did they all live happily ever after?
Good- no, magnificent job! What an inspirational story. :D
Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much for this amazing review! I'm sorry I'm so late in replying. Snape and Lorelei's story is Simply Irresistible over on another site that starts with fanfiction and ends with .net. It was one of my first stories and I polish a few chapters now and then, but never got around to posting it on MNFF.
Summary: Their first Christmas as a married couple find Severus and Hermione with many projects. The Christmas Rose Potion, a litter of increasingly alarming kittens, and the long-awaited wedding of Ronald Weasley and Luna Lovegood are only the beginning. Rating for later chapters. This story is a sequel to Master of Enchantment.
I feel so blessed to get to read all about these two! :) although it is not Christmas right now, I'd still like to say Merry Christmas!!!!!!!! May your days always be filled with love and happiness.
Summary: Merope Gaunt has what seems like a flawless plan to get Tom Riddle to love her. She has everything worked out to the very last drop of Amortentia in his glass each morning. Watch as a country called Romania and a celebration of love takes it's effect on this 'perfect love.'
Written as a Term Challenge: Holidays Abroad submission for Slytherin.
Great job! My goodness, I fell in love with this story! I really enjoyed the characterization of these two characters. I think my favorite part was when he renounced being a witch- broke her wand, dumped the potion. It just shows that she finally realized not everything could be solved by magic, and all it had done was ruin her pitiful life. I felt so bad for Merope! Maybe one day, an AU fic will make its way onto this website that lets Merope get a happy ending... :)
Author's Response: Wow, I had almost forgotten about this story. Thanks so much for the response. It means a lot that people still read these old things... :)
Summary: Tom believes he can seductively coax secrets from Dumbledore's most trusted student...
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved Tom Riddle! I would have totally fallen to his charm! Nicely written, and I'm glad Minerva didn't fall for it, otherwise I'd have to fight her for him! *chuckles*
Summary: They say love can make mountains melt. But can it evoke a reaction from Severus Snape?
Oh! Goodness, one day, I will write a story that puts Lily and Snape together!
Great story! I really enjoyed the raw emotions written. And I loved how you wrote Dumbledore. Cheers!
Summary: She loves him. Is that good enough or is she really meant to be alone?
I had my suspicions that this was Merope, but I think it was genius to not use names until the very end. Great job! I enjoyed it, even if it was a sorrowful ending.
