I love Harry Potter fan fiction, because it allows my imagination to run free!
I probably could be doing something more productive, but since I love to read and write, and hope to be an author one day, this doesn't seem like a whole waste of time!!!!
I love this site so much. It really let's me challenge my mind and see things in a whole new light.
Go fan fiction!!!!!
EDIT: I am a poetry nut! So watch out for all my poetry and you can even check some of my poetry out on Poetry Anyone? in the Beta Forums, if you are able to get an account. :) Also watch out if you write poetry, too! I am sure to review it, and possibly leave behind a critique!
The Accidental Godmother by Ruby Emeralds
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 246]
Summary: What if Harry had a Godmother? And she was a Muggle? This story starts at the beginning of Order of the Phoenix and will be as canon-compliant as possible. This fan fiction will lead to a romance between Severus and the Godmother, an original character.
Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think perhaps you may have the initials of JKR- if not, it's still a great story!
Author's Response: The next chapter is monumental for our favorite couple. I can't wait to hear your thoughts about it! :) And trust me, I'm not J.K.R. Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
Yes!!!!!! Oh how my day got better! Again, I wish I was Celie! Darn you, Ruby, for making such a pleasurable story!!!!! :)
Author's Response: I'm happy to hear that your day improved after you read this particular chapter. Even now, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside when I reread this chapter. I really loved giving Snape the opportunity to "one-up" Sirius when he kissed Celie. And I have to agree with you - Celie is a lucky lady! :)

Awwwwww! So sweet! I love this pairing! She is perfect for him! :) Again, still jealous of Celie's life..
Author's Response: I'm glad that you think my original character is a good pairing for everybody's favorite Potions Master. More goodies are coming...
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
Oh thank you for another great chapter! As you can see I'm quickly making my way throyght his story! I hope to finish my favorite series so I can read it again and again!
BTW, still wishing upon that darn star that I was Celie!!! Or as Severus sometimes calls her, Cecilia. Interestingly enough, that is the same name of Tom Riddle Sr's muggle companion in the memory of the Gaunts in the sixth book... Just an observation. :)
Author's Response: How sweet you are to say that you want to finish reading the "Accidental" series, so that you can go back and reread all the stories again! :) I did not remember that Tom Riddle Sr.'s Muggle companion was also named Cecilia, so thanks for telling me! I picked that name for my character because I wanted her to have a nickname that everyone used, except for Snape - he just seems like the kind of person who would want to be formal and use her real name. Plus, it seems more special and intimate when he calls her by a name that no one else calls her. I really hope that you continue to enjoy the story! :)

Why did you do this!!!!!!??????? Augh!!!!! Poor Celie!!!!!!!!!!! Poor Severus!!!!!!! Augh!!!!!
Still want to be Celie, though... ;)
Author's Response: Don't worry! The situation with Severus and Celie dramatically improves in the next chapter! :)
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
Yay!!!!! Yay!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!! Finally, they are together!!!!!! :) But I was a Seer- I totally saw it coming. *winks outrageously*
Author's Response: Yep, this is definitely a good chapter for Severus and Celie. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me know! :)
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
Yay! They made up! I felt so bad for Severus, but I realize it's important for Celie to know her hubby. :) I can't wait for more. On to the next chapter... Still play acting Celie!
Author's Response: Of course I had to have Severus and Celie make up - there is no way that I could've ended their relationship. I'm thrilled to see that you are still loyally reading and reviewing the story! I hope that you enjoy the next chapter! :)
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
I feel so bad for Celie!!!!!!! But, I still adamantly wish I was her! :) and I hope my husband treats me just as well (when I get one, that is).
Author's Response: Even though the situation is dire, Celie is tough and will find a way to muddle through. Thank you for sending me a review! :)
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
I see it's not quite like what actually happened (since Severus actually knew of the plan in the books) but I loved it! And yes, poor Celie! That is a rotten vacation. What a rocky relationship they have!
Author's Response: I agree with you - Celie is definitely having a lousy summer vacation. Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed the chapter! I hope that you like what happens next! :)
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
Wow! You really got into Snape's head! I'm so impressed! I understand him so much better now! Wonderful job! And poor Celie! She has no idea what is coming...
Author's Response: Thank you! My main goal for this story has always been to accurately depict Snape's character, so if you think that I accomplished that, then I am very happy. :) In regards to the rest of this story, more bad things happen before the tide changes and brings good luck to our couple.
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
You!!!! You made me cry!!!! I knew it was coming, and here I am, bawling my eyes out, feeling Celie's pain as she does. Augh!!!!!
I know it had to happen, and I feel so bad for Sev and Celie...
Author's Response: I'm sorry, but I had to do it! Don't be too sad, though - you know that I like to end stories with happy endings. :)
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
Again I cried. Poor Celie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why???? I'm surprised nobody has figured out that she loves Sev, although I think Hermione actually has, and just remains quiet. That smart girl doesn't let anything get past her...
Author's Response: I personally liked how Hermione put two-and-two together during her conversation with Harry and Ron at the Burrow. I know that, as loyal as Hermione is, she wouldn't cause trouble for Celie with the boys during this difficult time. Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
Again, I cried. You have got to stop making me do that!!!!! The moment when she was saying, "O love snow!" was so beautiful and tragic!!!! And then getting that note with the earrings... How do people not know????????
Author's Response: To answer your question about the people at the Burrow not knowing about Celie and Severus's relationship, I figure that most of them are so wrapped up in their own lives that they simply aren't noticing the clues that I'm slipping into the chapters. We've already seen that Hermione has her suspicions and Lupin definitely noticed that something wasn't quite right in this chapter. I'm sure that he's wondering about what it going on, but he doesn't strike me as the sort of person to aggressively demand answers from Celie. I hope that you enjoy the next chapter! :)
Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
I'm still having a panic attack, thanks!!!!! I know it will work out, but dang it, my heart is currently pounding so hard and I'm extremely depressed!!!! Augh!
Teehee! I knew it! He survived. But it still breaks my heart that he has been separated from Celie for a year or so! *cries out*
Yay! I'm so happy for them. I have to keep reading so this review is short.
I get your hint but I'm trying to finish the story!
Well, I just adored this story!!!!!!!!!!!! And yes, I fervently want to be Celie! But anyways, great job!!!!!! You did a wonderful job and you made me cry and almost rip my heart out. I burned the midnight oil to finish this story!!!!!! Congrats on such a marvelous story. Now I'm off to read more. *chuckles*
