Hay, I'm Lexie, I'm really indecisive and social interaction gives me a rash. I have this fangirling disorder thing going on. Food and animals and books and constellations and british television and ice skating make me happy. Obsessive wanderlust--I want to visit and see all the things this world has to offer. David Tennant is my love, but I won't talk about the Doctor Who fandom on here. As for Harry Potter, I think I'll just say that it makes me very sad. I am awfully obsessed with it, to the point where during the day as I suffer through the monotony that is highschool I have to squelch the inner desire to make pterodactyl noises and cry over the fact that I will never get to experience the magic of Hogwarts. The sassines of Severus Snape makes me giggle. Professor McGonagall, the Marauders and Dobby rock my socks.
OTP: James/Lily
I'm a Gryffindor, hear me roar
Drinking butter beer and feeling true bliss, evermore
Hogwarts will always be my true home that I adore.

Lily Evans, in her seventh year at Howarts, does not want to be a part of the war -- but some things are unavoidable.
Oh my Merlin this is so damn good
Author's Response: Thank you so much!
Im dying!! Hahaah Sirius as a woman was hilarious, omg
Wow. Just finished reading. This story was beautiful, yet incredibly bitter and sad. So tragically great. Loved it! Tbh at times James seemed a bit out of character, but I thought you captured Sirius amazingly.
Author's Response: Thank you!
The Pursuit by MagEd
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 375]
Summary: Harry and Ginny are happily married with a baby on the way. When they manipulate Ron and Hermione into both meeting them for lunch, the last thing anyone expected was for Harry and Ginny to be kidnapped.
Suddenly Ron and Hermione are left with nothing more than a note and the realization it’s up to them to follow the clues and rescue the couple they both love and adore. If only the clues weren't nonsense. If only they knew who could possibly have taken Harry and Ginny. If only they didn’t hate each other. If only they hadn’t once loved each other.
Life just got a whole lot more complicated for Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

"Harry was right: there was no such thing as understanding girls, no matter how old a bloke got."
Mixed feels about this story. I really did enjoy the majority of it, but parts of it were too formulated and complex for me to like, simply because it was too complicated. And Harry and Ginny seemed a tad too out of cannon, I feel like they wouldn't interfere too much into Ron/Hermione's relationship, and certainly not fake being kidnapped. That being said, I loved some of the writing you did, it really flowed together! Adding this to my favorites despite the couple things I wasn't too fond of :)

This was written originally for wendelin the wierd's First Year Romance class, as the final assignment for that class.
This was so beautiful, magnificent, flawless.... ahh! I loved it so much, especially the end.. almost made me cry. Brilliant writing for the most part, a couple little mistakes but still very good! Loveloveloveloveloveloved this storyline though, ah. I only have one question.. what ever happened to poor little Severus Snape? Haha.
Author's Response: I am dearly sorry that I made you cry, but most pleased that you enjoyed the fic so much! As to dear Sevy . . . oh, well, I deal with him enough in my other fics. xD Thanks so much for R-&-R-ing!
When Worlds Collide by jenny b
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 254]
Summary:
Rose was a Weasley. She never gave Scorpius Malfoy a second glance. They were sworn enemies, even though they’d barely even spoken to each other. But sometimes all it takes for love to blossom is a Potions lesson, a few snide remarks and a dropped book.
Two people. Two entirely different worlds that are suddenly intertwined.
Loved this so much! I started this last evening and read close to 12 am, then got up early this morning to finish it! Overall it was excellent writing, there were certain little mistakes and things I would have loved to hear more about, such as Hogsmeade and Scorpious, Rose and friends sneaking around Hogwarts after hours, but I just loved this. One of the only super long fics that kept me wanting more.

Runner up QSQ - Best Chaptered Canon Romance
Reason for Nomination:
This is the most unique take on how James and Lily really got to know each other. The story is hilarious and keeps you laughing throughout, but it never lets you forget the serious stuff. Plus, she somehow manages to end each chapter with a nice cliffhanger.

FAVORITE STORY SO FAR. I can't. This has made me laugh incredibly hard, your writing is flawlessly brilliant, so in cannon for the characters, I LOVE IT.
I AM MAKING PTERODACTYL NOISES OF DELIGHT OMG I JUST FINISHED THIS and it was literally my favorite fanfic that I have EVER had the chance of stumbling upon, bless you for writing this because it was superb and just GREAT. I loved every part, but I'd have to say that one of my favorites was James getting all heated up reading Orsha's Wish hahaha. And I loved the Sirius+Lily friendship, and you just captured everyone so perfectly, I felt as if I was reading something JK Rowling would have written if SHE had been a fanfic writer writing about HP written by someone else I don't even know if you can understand that but really I am raving it was just excellent I love you. This was beautiful I'm just going to stop typing now I hope I've somehow managed to convey my love for this story to you goodbye

But the first night back — and the murder that takes the entire school by surprise — leave her guilt-ridden as well.

Again.. this was absolutely amazing, brilliant, PERFECT. Epilogue actually had me in tears, partly from the flawless writing and partly from the emotion.. SO GOOD. When I reread the books, I think of this fan fiction as what actually occurred between James and Lily, ahh! And I picture the epilogue being what happened, omg. I just can't. I loved this so much, the best fan fiction I've ever read. You had the perfect amount of hilarious dialogue, fluff, and angst/dark material. Gorgeous writing, :)
What Would You Do? by ron lover
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 48]
Summary:
I take a deep breath so my voice won’t shake.
“What would you do if we died tomorrow?”
He takes a step away from me, but still keeps me in his arms. “What?”
“What would you do if you knew that we died tomorrow?”
“What kind of question is that?”
“Don’t give me that, James. You know that we are going to die soon. There is no point in pretending that we aren’t.”
James and Lily have a conversation two days before Halloween.
This was pretty well written! It took a very slightly different approach than I would have imagined for Lily's character, but I really liked it.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I actually do not like the writing in this. It was my first time writing in first person, and I think I butchered it. How do you normally view Lily? I've seen so many different portrayals of her; some see m so far off, others I think hit the mark. I really am happy that you like it.
Summary:
Many difficult things have been asked of Severus Snape over the years, and perhaps this latest one ought not to have been the hardest. But yet, he knew that, just beyond the gargoyle, he would be forced to confront the most difficult test he'd ever known: facing the man he killed.
This was literally flawless. Such flowing, perfect writing. Thumbs up!

Summary: Ginny is forced to choose between her husband and lover. Will she choose the Lion or the Snake?
*H/G, D/G*

Constructive criticism: I didn't like this much. Just my honest opinion. It felt too much like a reality tv show or something, and the characters would didn't fit together or act like themselves at all. It had parts of good writing though!
Quidditch: The Metaphoric Dating Game by Kiara Avalon
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 17]

This was so good! I really love your writing :) Not to mention that I've always loved to hear anything about Oliver Wood and his little romances, haha. But seriously, the way you twist words just makes them so... I dunno, amazing!
