Summary: In his sixth year at Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy begins his training as a Death Eater. Whether he likes it or not. When Hermione Granger is kidnapped and held prisoner at Malfoy Manor, Draco's life becomes even more complicated. She challenges everything he's ever believed, and draws feelings from him he never knew he could have. Witness their relationship unfold as Draco prepares to make a life-changing decision: to accept his family's destiny for him or to risk both their lives by turning his back on it all.
Lovely story! Can't wait for the sequel!
Author's Response: Thank you so very much! The sequal will be up as soon as my muse cooperates with me. ;) Luv, Stef :)
Hermione gets the cat, the flat, the food, and the furniture. Ron gets the family and friends.
Harry gets the boot, his little book, the blame, and the shame. Ginny gets a new bloke and a haircut.
'The One' is an insidious myth, and 'Meant To Be' smacks of a hope to which no one has a right.
It's a shame the two of them bought into it for so long.
And it's too bad old habits are so hard to break.
Excellent writing! I hope you have more for us soon!
Author's Response: Thank you, Chelle74,
Writing time is sparse at the moment, but the next bit is framed in my head. I just need to get it down.
Thank you so much for reading and for the review!
Summary: When you are carried away with your worries, fears, cravings, anger, and desire, you run away from yourself and you lose yourself. The practice is always to go back to oneself. - Thich Nhat Hanh
He has been running for as long as he can remember - then again, that isn't saying much.
Her job is to get him to stop - which is easier said than done. But it is him and her - it was never going to be easy.
Oh, I'm so glad for a new chapter! I've missed you!! The emotions are so raw in this one. You are really building to a big climax at some point! Please send the next chapter soon. Hugs!
Great story! I'm always excited to see an update posted! Send a new one soon... can't wait to find out what happens next!
p.s. It would be interesting to see the story from inside Draco/Leo's head...
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review - the next chapter's being beta'd! Unfortunately, everything I've written so far is from Hermione's point of view, though I may do some latter chapters from Draco's, I had planned on doing them mostly Hermione's - if only that I want Draco's head space to remain a mystery, both as Leo Wyvern and when he finally regains his memory! I hope you still continue to enjoy the story. ~ Alice
Yea another chapter! It keeps getting better. I really thought it was good that you showed Hermione struggling over how she 'should' feel. It is interesting how people can cling to what is safe and comfortable instead of going for their true passions, which may be more unsure and unpredictable. Excellent as always and I can't wait for the next one!!
That was fantastic! This is truly one of my favorite stories. So glad you're back!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm so happy this is one of your favourites :) The next chapter's being betaed - a little later than I intended, but hopefully I can get it up soon! ~ Alice
At the edge of my seat! Don't keep us waiting too long for the next one!!
Sophomore Spells at the Wizarding University of Paris by jenniferes
Rated: Professors [Reviews - 54]
Summary: Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy attend their sophomore year at the Wizarding University of Paris. This is a sequel to both the Dragon Does the Tickling, where Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy complete their seventh year at Hogwarts after the war and fall in love and More Wandless Magic with Malfoy, where they complete their freshman year at WUP. I strongly recommend reading both those stories first.
I've read your entire series and really enjoyed it! I'm glad you are continuing. Looking forward to the adventures in this series!!
Author's Response: Thank you for the favorable feedback. I've got a big adventure planned for their sophomore year! :-) Jenny
Summary: The Collier's Virus is highly contagious, magically virulent, and always fatal. Junior Healers Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger are called in to help find a cure before the virus claims another life. If they can.
I've read your other Dramione stories and enjoyed them all. This one is a very different take and really well written. I look forward to seeing where you go with it!
Author's Response: This is definitely quite different than anything I've written before, but I'm glad you think it's going well. Thank you for reading!!
Summary: 'Tis the season to be jolly - or so the saying goes.
For them it is a time for war; a time for battle strategy and constantly looking over your shoulder.
She thinks there is always time for Christmas - the childish part inside of her that still believes in miracles does, anyway. He thinks she's wrong - but then, he always does.
Another great story. I actually read "We Happy Few" when you first published it. I really enjoyed and noticed the undercurrents of Hermione and Draco's relationship in that fic (even though it really wasn't a romance). This little vignette was a nice companion to that story. I really enjoy your writing, it has a lot of depth. Please don't forget about "The Runaway". I still check all the time for your updates!! Hope all is well and you had a lovely holiday.
