Hi! I am a 13 yr old girl who loves reading fiction involving magic, attempting to draw manga, building gigantic, fanciful and impractical LEGO thingies, knitting and crocheting, building robots, gymnastics, soccer, and building tree forts (which usually are too microscopic to be of any use). I live in the California Silicon Valley and am slightly obsessed with houses with turrets.
I have a lot of awesome quotes pasted up in my room, because who doesn't like awesome quotes? My latest, from The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster: "For its size it was larger than almost any other big package of smaller dimensions that he'd ever seen." I just love how it really doesn't say anything whatsoever about the size of the package while giving the distinct impression of largeness.
Anyway, I've rambled on long enough. Bye for now!
Summary: Lily Evans and James Potter agreed on only one thing since they first met: they'll always hate each other. But after five years, James begins to see things, to see her, differently, and wants another chance. But Lily is one stubborn girl. Can he convince her that his feelings are real? Meanwhile, the pair is thrust into many different dangerous and humorous situations with their friends. Will it take a disaster to help Lily believe in true love? Or will a tragedy just push her farther away? How many times does James have to try before he stops messing up? Follows with the information provided by JKR, with some fun along the way.
I really like this story, especially the parts that make me laugh like "What are you doing on the floor?".
A Cinderella Story - In the Universe of Harry Potter by Powerful_Quill
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 308]
Summary: What if, in the 1300s, Hogwarts was a kingdom?
Follow the story of the young Prince of Hogwarts, a fair maiden, and one, not-so-orthodox fairy godmother. (AU)
Tonks is the most HILARIOUS fairy godmother ever! I love how Moody's wand is
Summary: One night Lily discovers a side of James shes never seen before...could this really be the same guy?!
I really like how the conversation was realistically awkward, not overly so, but they didn't just start talking either.
Summary: Post-OOTP. When Voldemort attacks Harry and Dumbledore comes to fight him off, Harry accidentally casts a strange spell that turns Dumbledore and Voldemort into 16 year olds-Harry's age. Now both of them must live with Harry and the Dursleys...Please R&R!
BWAHAAHahahaha That was hilarious and I especially liked when Ickle Diddykins sat on Voldy. Some Dark lord he was... lololol
Summary: It's Ginny's birthday and as she blows out her candles there's only thing she's wishing for...the next morning when she wakes up she finds her wish is now her reality...how will she handle it?
Haha. I especially like the part where Ginny wakes up and realizes its not a
Summary: This is the story of the adventures of Lily and James Potter as they watch their son grow up from afar, only allowed these small moments....
Aww how cute. Keep up the great work, and good luck with the math teaching!
Summary: Sequel to Revenge of the Serpent. The title is taken from a One Tree Hill episode title.
Haha about Umbridge but now she's probably going to research centaur relations and realize Harry was lying and then get really mad. :)
Summary: A man from Interpol comes to question Harry Potter as part of a murder investigation. How will Harry react? And how will this affect his search for Lord Voldemort’s Horcruxes? Plus, the question we all want answered: What will happen with Ginny?
This story picks up immediately after HBP, and is very slightly AU. But hey, aren’t they all?
This story was really awesome! By the way, yes, the Quidditch uniforms have names on the back.
Summary: Lord Voldemort is close to victory. He has conquered most of Britain, he has gained legions of followers, and through dark magic he has restored his youth. Now all he needs to break the spirit of the rebels who stand against him and complete his own success is a young, beautiful, pureblood bride…
When Ginny Weasley is kidnapped, Harry Potter and his friends will do anything to get her back. Now they must ally themselves with a follower of Lord Voldemort, a hunter with the evilest of pasts, and a former schoolmate they hate beyond all reason…
A tale of adventure, romance, intrigue and suspense. Based on the assumption that Hogwarts never reopened, and the battle against Voldemort has lasted almost four years.
This is a reader participatory fic. That means readers get to decide which chapters come next, suggest plotlines, and even make an appearance in the story! More about this inside...
I don't know if you're still working on this, but here goes...
I'd like to be a cameo Rebel named Maddie, short for Madeline, who is some long lost relative of Harry's that he doesn't know about yet and thinks is just another DA member.
I've always been a big fan of Neville/Luna, so maybe Ron could want to be more helpful and trek out to the wall with Hermione and Luna to work on it because he's bored or something?
Tom could make Ginny wear a dark greenish red dress that she hates but must wear because she must obey him?
Great job so far and pweez don't abandon it!
Summary: Marty Price works for The Cause, which involves several campaigns and petitions on a weekly basis. It has become common knowledge within Hogwarts that if you see her coming towards you with a clipboard, you should turn and walk the other way. Or perhaps deny all grasp of the English language. And if this isn’t eccentric enough, there’s also her obsessive written observations of four boys in her year, which will one day make a rather interesting book ...
Remus Lupin, meanwhile, has always been a little different, too. Poor, sweet Remus Lupin is, to the casual observer, the picture of a sensible, hard working student. However, he has three friends who have done more for him than anyone knows and they have done this because of his troubled past, troubled present and troubled future. Why the gloominess? Because Remus Lupin just so happens to be a werewolf.
So what could these two possibly have in common? And how can their stories possibly connect?
Runner-up for the 2008 Best Marauder Era QSQ.
I like how Marty is all weird and sort of casual-observer-type uninvolved person, kind of like me =D
Summary: This is book two in the "Potter's Pentagon" trilogy. Read "Potter's Pentagon: The Five" first, myesss? Cool.
WARNING: This story contains French people, an internal monologue about a blue orange, adolescent facial hair, good old-fashioned snogging, superstitious truck drivers, a portrait who calls everyone "Mavis," a zoo break-in, some very strange clothes, romantic conflict galore, and Ron Weasley's caffeine addiction. And worst of all, Professor Zabini!
Hogwarts is hosting the Triwizard Tournament, and when one of the members of Potter's Pentagon is selected to represent the school, much excitement ensues. Simultaneously, elections are being held for Minister of Magic, and things are getting busy at the Ministry.
Not to mention the fact that Jordan's made a new Muggle friend without informing her of the itty-bitty fact that he's magical, Haley has found an enchanted diary of dubious origin, Ted's met a werewolf from Beauxbatons, and Emma... well, Emma's not having a good year.
And what exactly is Ivy up to, anyway?
Everyone has secrets. But in the end, the truth will have to come out.
Starring Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character Nominees Ivy Potter, Emma Weasley, Haley Potter, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards!
Haa... well, I'm kinda notoriously bad at picking favorite anythings, but my favorite OCs are Jordan, Haley, and Ted. I'm sort of a cross between Jordan and Haley -- hyper, studious, bookworm, can't raise one eyebrow to save my life, hyper, rather musical, seriously into technology, hyper, etc. Also, Giorgi is extremely cool and reminds me of one of my best friends. I would be quite interested to hear the rest of the Zabini/potato joke. Thanks for making my life that much nicer! By the way... you are my favorite MNFF author.
Summary: After losing a bet, Professor Severus Snape is forced to accompany Professor Filius Flitwick on a speed-dating event. Will he manage to survive the witless witches and the maddening MC? Or will he leaved with more than he bargained for?
Only two things to say... 1. BWAHAAHAHAHAHA 2. Unfortunately he can't conjure cookies because of Gamp's Law of Elementary Transfiguration.
Summary: The final installment in the Potter’s Pentagon Trilogy. Read “The Five” and “The Truth” first, myess? Okay!
WARNING! Contains Muggle adventures in Diagon Alley, unusual eyebrows, cheesy clichés galore, psycho Ted, the not-so-lost years of Merlin, a school-wide singalong, the old potato joke, Tyrone’s Princess Bride obsession, Emma’s stubborn denial of the existence of Tyrone’s mustache, a graphic death, a joke shop product as a major plot device, hobo Jordan, Jordan hugging, Jordan pulling pranks, time travel, the Love Shack, angst, and worst of all, Professor Zabini.
It’s the sixth year for Potter’s Pentagon and company, and our heroes learn that in the wizarding world, coming of age has a somewhat weightier significance. Students are busy with an Inter-House Unity Project, Jordan is having weird dreams, Pansy and Ophidias Malfoy have been released from Azkaban, Professor Zabini has a mysterious project of his own, and almost everyone is acting strangely. Meanwhile, at the Ministry of Magic, a man with a vendetta against Ron Weasley is trying his hardest to get him in the biggest trouble possible. Is the only way to save him to travel into the past?
New talents are discovered, new friendships form and old ones change, pasts are dredged up, and, of course, there’s lots of good old-fashioned snogging. And one of the five kills for the first time… while another becomes a casualty of war.
Starring 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, Emma Weasley, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Post-Hogwarts Story.
Wow. Favorite parts… at least one per chapter... namely every time I cracked up. Especially when Ted wonders if he can get bonus points for stepping on his own foot :D
Summary: Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for his seventh year. With Quidditch, NEWT's, and a pompous new Transfiguration teacher this year is certainly not going to be dull! Mix in some Marauders, a couple jokes, and a bunch of good friends and this will be Harry's best year yet!
Nominated for QSQ'a Best General Fic. Thank you!
Wow! I really like it but I feel Harry would probably tell his friends about a big thing like a Pensieve. Keep up the great work!
Summary: By their third week at Hogwarts, Fred and George already have a reputation for mischief and mayhem; the only thing standing in the way of perfect pranking is the complexity of the castle itself (not to mention a certain insufferable brother). But when the twins happen upon a piece of magical, mysterious, and ill-mannered parchment, they may end up in rather more trouble than they bargained for. How will those two wily Weasleys earn the trust and unlock the secrets of the Marauders Map?
HAHAHA! That was hilarious! Also, perfect house-elf grammar, not many people get that.
Summary: James and Lily watch from up above as their son asks Cho Chang to the Yule Ball.
Now THAT was funny. James is just indescribable. He always makes me laugh.
Thanks for not review begging... it's like a breath of fresh air :)
Author's Response: Awwww, thank you! x
Summary: My name is Rose Evans. My parents were Lily and James Potter, and Harry Potter is my twin brother, though he didn't know. I was raised by Severus Snape. This is my story.
RECENTLY NOMINATED FOR 2011 QSQ BEST ALTERNATE UNIVERSE!! Thank you, grangergirl35!!
I just wanted to say that I LOVE your story, can't wait to see what will happen next... also, you write the most imaginative review pleas I have ever seen! Keep it up!
Ginny Weasley is extremely excited for her first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and knows that it will be wonderful. She has all of her supplies, her books, and most importantly, a wand.
But is she ready for the twist Tom Riddle will send her way?
This story is an alternate Chamber of Secrets from Ginny's point-of-view, with some very interesting changes that could affect her whole life.
Extremely good overall, but Luna is in Harry's year, isn't she?
