Hey ya'll. :) My name's Jesse, I'm 14, and I love to write. I mostly stick to canon pairs; Hinny, Romione, the type. (except in the case of Neville and Luna, I write them married. )
Rose was a Weasley. She never gave Scorpius Malfoy a second glance. They were sworn enemies, even though they’d barely even spoken to each other. But sometimes all it takes for love to blossom is a Potions lesson, a few snide remarks and a dropped book.
Two people. Two entirely different worlds that are suddenly intertwined.
so much fangirl squealing at the end
I am absolutely in looove with thisssss
Summary: When a fatal disease spreads like wildfire around the Wizarding World, it is up to Rose Weasley to find a cure - with the help of no other than Severus Snape. But working with a man she's fallen in love with is much harder than it sounds.
First Place in the Gauntlet's Sixth Run!
oh my god, i'm sitting here crying right now, this is so damn good i can't take the overwhelming emotions *extreme fangirl cries*
Summary: For Lily Evans, James Potter was just a crush. A guilty pleasure, in other words. She never meant to fall in love with him. Especially after six long years of having to reject him. James would always be chasing after her, so why not live a little before giving in? It's finally come to their Seventh Year at Hogwarts after all. But little did Lily know, James took his tactics to a whole new level- Operation: Lily.
i think i'm in love with this story
Summary: In the fight against He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, Harry will either gain everything - or lose everything. This is life - to gain all, one must first risk all. Alternate sequel to Half-Blood Prince, twelve chapters.
I think your writing is fantastic, but I'm kind of confused. Is it a re-write of the 7th book? And if it is, I've noticed that you kind of skimmed over some of the parts of HBP, like with Snape being their DADA professor. Otherwise it's fantastic. XD
Author's Response: Firstly, thank you so much! I'm really flattered *blushing*. Secondly, as to your confusion: this story was begun before DH had been released. DH came out, I didn't write any more for AGES, and eventually I overhauled the thing a bit and finished it off. So it has bits from 7 in it, like calling Bill and Fleur's house "Shell Cottage", but mostly it's what my guess at book 7 was before it was out. As for HBP and Snape, I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean Snape's kind of AWOL from this story? Because, yeah. Kind of a massive flaw. I'm hoping to remedy it in the sequel, which will hopefully start being posted in the summer. Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me :) It really does help. I'm planning on tidying this thing up at some point, so all reveiws and comments on this really help. Also, sorry for the slow response. I only just got my internet access back :) HK
Summary: Hermione has lived thirty-six years on this earth. The last twenty or so of them have been blissful and perfect, married to her best friend and lover. They have two beautiful children at Hogwarts. Ron's an Auror, and Hermione works in the new office at the Ministry, for the Mandatory Respect of Elf Rights Department. Then, one afternoon in February, she's called to St. Mungo's, where everything is ruined, and she's forced to remember the easier past.
Erk. Goyle died in the seventh book, I think. When they were in the Room of Requirement and he started the Fiend Fyre or however you spell that? I might be wrong...
Author's Response: Read over my story, I changed that :)
Gooooood golly, I love this story. It's had me in tears like, 3 times, and it's beautifully written. (Wasn't Goyle the one who was "killed" by the fiend fyre in DH ? I might be wrong.) But I have nothing to say against this story, I applaud you. :)
Author's Response: :D
Summary: As Albus' parents wave him off from Platform nine and three-quarters they are happy in the knowledge that their son's time at Hogwarts will be a far less trying one than their own. However, in due course, Albus will discover that there are those who would wish differently. As Albus and his friends Rose, Frank, Effie, Theron, Xander and the mysterious Tristan make their way through the year they slowly discover who is friend and who is foe and most importantly, that not everyone is as they seem...
I'm a big fan of your stories! But the only thing I've really noticed is like, some repetitivness (i spelled that wrong or somethingXD) with some of your words. Otherwise I love it, and it may just be me being too nitpicky. XD
Summary: The last time Harry had ever seen his Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and cousin Dudley had been during their uncomfortable parting, shortly before his seventeenth birthday. But surely, after sixteen solid years of sharing the same home, four people can't just forget each other.
Awwwww! This is adorable! I love the way Harry handled Petunia. :)
Summary: When Sirius Black has an idea, not even his friends can convince him it’s doomed to failure. Thus, when Sirius decides to throw a Christmas party in order to play matchmaker for James and Lily, nothing will deter him from his plans. However, Sirius has never actually hosted a party before and one disaster follows the next. Eventually, even Sirius has to admit that it would take a miracle in order for Lily to fall for James. Fortunately, Christmas is a time for miracles...
This is Hypatia of Gryffindor, writing for the Great Hall-iday Challenge, Operation: Mistletoe
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWH. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. SO SO SO SO MUCH. This is just flat out fantastic.
Author's Response: Thank you very much and have a wonderful Christmas! :)
Summary: Over the course of eight chapters, this story will capture fragments of Teddy Lupin’s early life, where Harry tells him about his parents and tries to help him understand who they were and why they died.
Final chapter is up!!!
omg my crais, they just keep coming.
I love this, I really do! This was so sweet ;_; one thing though, I wouldn't have had harry's thoughts be so much on the why thing, it got a bit repetitive after a while.
Author's Response: Thanks so much, I am so glad you liked it! I see what you mean about counting whys being a bit repetitive, I'll go back and edit that now and change it so Harry's not counting every single one. Thanks for the suggestion, I really appreciate it, and I'm so glad you liked this chapter (it's actually my favourite)! :)
Summary: He prayed that she would say something - anything to appease Bellatrix. But she did not - that infuriating, idiotic, beautiful, courageous, stubborn, uncontrollable bint. He had never loved her more.
One of the hardest things in this world is to watch someone you love experience unimaginable pain and be powerless to stop it. But if you did have some power - any at all - to take that pain away, would you use it, even at the risk of your own life? Would you defy your allies - your family - to help someone who is supposed to be an enemy? Or would you do nothing - like the coward everyone assumes you are?
Draco Malfoy was tired of being a coward.
Oh, god. As much as I love the relationship that exists between Ron and Hermione, this was just so well written and sad and sweet that I couldn't help but wish Draco had her. I love this so much.
Author's Response: Wow! I can't believe a Ron/Hermione shipper liked this - it's a great compliment! I wish Draco could have her too, but I don't think he quite deserves her at this point. Thank you so much for your kind review!
Summary: I've got a tight grip on reality
All Ellie has ever wanted do in life is be a journalist. But her dream is put in jeopardy when she has to secure an interview with the one person who refuses to be interviewed: Harry Potter. Her only chance at getting the story is to befriend a very eager young man, who also happens to have the last name Potter. Okay, so I'm already Loving this a lot. Ellie seems cool, and I like the idea of a Muggle-born in Slytherin. (Salazar rolled over in his grave!) and I was almost expecting this end but I love it nonetheless. Cannot wait for the next chapter!!! c: Summary: 'Her eyes were ablaze with a passion that I had previously believed to have died out. Somehow this defiance, this tiniest hint of uprising, had lit a spark within her, and it was a welcome sight.' I loveeee. I never really thought about them being friends and whatnot at hogwarts, once the others were gone.
Date: 04/09/12 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 (A Straight Face)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing it means a lot to me :') And I could care less about Salazar! My girl Ellie is Slytherin and proud! -Emma
The day Harry Potter didn't board the Hogwarts Express changed everything for me, for suddenly Ginny Weasley wasn't the same.
Date: 04/16/12 Title: Chapter 1: Helpless
Author's Response: Thank you :) I've always interpreted it that Ginny, Neville and Luna were very close, not only because they were fighting against the Carrows together but also because they needed each other to lean on as everyone else had left.
