Summary: My take on the first of those 'nineteen years' between the 36th chapter of DH and the epilogue.
Warnings: contains an unusually-shaped ring, a nosy neighbour, a rude shop assistant, shaving mishaps, thoughtful gestures, threatening goblins, and, unexplained appearances of Romantic!Ron and Romantic!Harry. You have been warned.
Rating is for *mild* innuendo and *mostly* innocent interactions but I wouldn't let my 9 year old read it.
I really love your book. It's very good and you are truly mirroring Rowling's style of writing. I have searched through lots of fan fiction sites to find a story like yours, and this was the only good one that followed canon that I could find :) One thing though: I really hope you are not planning on marrying the two couples this young. They are only seventeen, eighteen... I do think it's very young. I hope that they haven't gotten married yet (I haven't read past this chapter yet) and you are planning on making them marry in like five years or something. Either way I think you are a truly gifted writer!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your positive review. I am pleased that you are enjoying it so far, and that you find it follows canon and Ms Rowling's style. Hmmm...do I marry them off? I will not reveal everything about the end of my fic, but I will say two things: (1) they are married by the end of my fic, but (2) they are not 17 when they do marry. Keep in mind that Ms Rowling herself has said that the trio married very young. That's canon. Stay tuned! I hope you enjoy the rest. cj
