So, where do I even begin?
Well, I'm 16, I live in England and I'm obsessed with many different things, of which Harry Potter is probably the main one. As you may have guessed.
I was a reader and writer here for about four years and a moderator for just over two and half years. And I am ever so slightly insane.
My Stories
If you're looking for my higher quality writing, it's advisable that you stick to stories uploaded in or after 2007. There's not much I like about my earlier writing, but it's still up here because I did put quite a lot of time and effort into it. Love Conquers Everything has been discontinued.
I thought I'd review your entire series as I love it so much. You inject so much emotion into the stories that it is impossible to stop reading them. I re-read them all the time because they are truly fantastic. Each has its own merits and real brilliance.
I think I have decided, after much deliberation, that my favourite is When I See Only You - it's simply fantastic. Although the theme is very sad, that is its strength as well. It's heartbreaking, and that's what I love about it. I really feel all the emotions in it.
Next would come The Boy Next Door. Again, it has a beautifully heart-wrenching theme and your magical style continues in this piece, following Ginny's struggles to cope and Harry's struggles to remember. I really liked the fact that they finally achieved their happy ending, and you wrote is so that it was as strong an ending as those preceding it.
Finally, we come to the title story, My Guardian Angel. Although it's a lot shorter than the other two, it still retains its brilliance. The plotline is wonderful and original, and the story as a whole introduces the reader spectacularly to Harry and Ginny's true love.
Well, I've rambled on enough for now. All that is left to say is that you are the best author in fanfiction that I have ever read and that your stories are fabulous beyond words.

Through the Glass Darkly by Ashwinder
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 24]
Summary: Ginny observes Harry after the events at the Department of Mysteries. A missing moment from the end of OOP.
Fabulous. You wrote this piece so beautifully - the words flow so perfectly together and really give us a window into Ginny's mind (and heart!) It fitted very well with canon and shows us how much Ginny genuinely cares for Harry, but feels helpless when he shuts everyone out. Your last line was heart-wrenching and excuted impeccably. You have a real gift for writing. Excellent!

The sequel Agapanthus is up!
I've just read your entire story and all I must say before I begin picking out my favourite bits is that it was truly fabulous. You are an extremely talented writer and I wish I could write as well as you. Now, onto the main points:
I loved your title and summary - they ensnared me beautifully into reading it - and seeing as I'm not a huge one for D/Hr, consider this an acheivement. The lines of the song dotted within the story worked brilliantly.
The beginning was refreshingly different, and I am so pleased that you scrapped the cliched "timetable" of other D/Hr and started in an interesting place. I could also completely understood their emotions and you properly showed us how they came to care for each other without sounding rushed/forced/unbelievable etc.
I particularly liked the way you portrayed their growing relationship and still spiced it up with a good dose of action. The balance of description/action was excellent.
I did see one or two cliches along the line, but to be honest, they didn't bother me. A few comforting cliches helps the reader to relate to your story - so I wouldn't worry.
I did sort of guess the type of ending it would end up being, but I never imagined just how heart-wrenching it would be. You wrote it beautifully, and ending it with the lyrics...well, it was exquisite.
This story is amazing. Thank you for sharing it with all of us and well done on a completely amazing fanfiction.
Veiled Revelations by erikthephantom
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 514]
Summary: The Hogwarts Express brings mystery and mischief in the Marauders' seventh and final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter are facing a year of N.E.W.T.s, romance, intrigue, and, of course, a little mischief-making. There are plot twists galore! James (in the midst of saving the world) continues desperately to try to woo the incorrigible Lily Evans. Sirius deals with family problems while dealing with his incredible popularity and good looks (the horror!). Remus is provided with a backdoor to avoiding the prejudices of the inevitable real world, but at what cost? (dun-dun-dun) And Peter...well, Peter gets himself a girlfriend (but don't worry: it doesn't affect his hero-worshipping of James...or DOES IT?!)
I like this story very much - it's interesting and not too cliched (many of the MWPP-era ones are) and it has enough realistic dramatic storylines to satisfy a reader. The only part that I would change in this chapter is possibly the Patronuses - I'm not sure that Lupin's would have been a werewolf, because it's supposed to be a symbol of strength against Dementors, and Lupin is afraid of the full moon. Apart from this, an excellent chapter and story so far! 10/10
Author's Response: i confess, you are very right. i had no idea what to make remus's patronus...actually i did afterwards, i thought of making it Padfoot, but didnt change it for fear of making it sound too slashy. should I have? or should it have been a different animal? these things are stil subject to change. thank you so much, rita, you were very right and i appreciate you taking time to tell me AND giving an awesome review :)

Summary:
It is ambitious Lily Evans' 7th and final year at Hogwarts. She is very excited about being one step closer to becoming an Auror and thrilled about being back to school altogether.
But there is one little annoyance: the Marauders. Specificially arrogant James Potter. He has been pestering her to go out with him, but she has coldly denied his wishes. She thinks this year will be no different to the past six school years.
But life is full of mistakes.
..::~!~::.."Just one minute.” Lily noticed footsteps heading in her direction. She saw a hand reach from between the screens and drop a flower onto her bedside table.
“Mr. Potter! Return to your dormitory immediately!”
“Alright, alright…” The hand disappeared.
Once Lily was sure that no one was in the wing, he lifted her head and saw what flower Potter had dropped.
Lily stuffed her head in her pillow and screamed a muffled scream that no one could hear.

Thanks for reading!
Very good new chapter. I liked the way you described Hermione's conflicting emotions and how the situation had changed her attitude towards others and life in general. I thought the part where she was looking at everybody during the trial, and thinking of all that had happened between them and what they'd want her to say was particularly good. It was a very powerful part. Excellent writing, 10/10.
Wow, great new chapter, I really admire you - (and sorry for sending so many copies of my review last time!) I will definitely follow this story until its end, how could I not? I eagerly await the final installment of Part I.
Fantastic. This fic has so many deep feelings, you really search their souls for such a realistic story. This is such a difficult storyline, but you've handled it so well. You're amazing. 10/10 Definitely keep writing.
