Lover of HP here! This is a brand new account for me since my old email is no longer usable. I've only published one other story, search my old pen name sesah if you wish to read it.
I'm currently writing an AU fic that touches on more historical elements of the HP universe. Hopefully I can start posting that in the next year or so. Writing a chaptered fic is harder than I imagined. I'll have to find myself a beta for this one.
To the Mugglenet Fan Fiction crew: Thank you for insisting on quality in the stories posted. I never would have dived into the world of fanfiction if your site was like so many others I've encountered.
Summary: Thanks to an ingenious plan of Dumbledore's, Severus Snape and Harry Potter swap bodies. They're doing this to fight Voldemort.
Dumbledore says it's the only way Harry can survive. But can Snape get over the trials and tribulations of being a teenager again, and can Harry battle unruly Potions students and greasy black hair?
In short - will either of them survive?
The latest chapter is shown from Snape's point of view.
Loved the story! Until the very end. I was left confused even after re-reading previous chapters. Why is harry worried about dumbledore? Where is fidens? What does.polyjuice have to do with anything?
Summary: Lord Voldemort is no more, but the victors paid a high price. This story begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s seventh year comes to an end and Ginny's starts. While delving into the ancient story of Merlin, Percy Weasly brings attention to what appears to be the complete collapse of magic. Can he, or anyone stop the changes before it's too late?
*pouts* my idea of merlin and osiris knowing eachother isn't so original after all. Oh well, I shall continue to write my story.
Oh, by the way, excellent story!!! I can't believe I haven't come across this one before now.
Summary: Amid the desolation of Diagon Alley, a tiny ray of hope lay buried. Nothing more than a tidbit amid the sweeping despair of Deathly Hallows, yet it would not let go of my imagination. Had I found the casually inserted pivotal clue that would rise like Nicolas Flamel from the pages of the first book? Or had I stumbled upon another Mark Evans: nothing but filler detail in the opening pages of The Order of the Phoenix, JKR having overlooked that he bore the same last name as Harry’s mother?
So I waited for my little gem to bear fruit, to become one of those climactic surprises we should have seen coming, but somehow overlooked. Only it never came to pass. The death count mounted to a staggering high, the epic moments came and went, Snape’s back story was finally revealed, and still nothing.
So it has lain, bereft and unwanted, among the detritus of a Diagon Alley the Death Eaters had turned into a bully’s playground. But in the intervening years, this rough diamond has become the inspiration for this story, spreading its tentacles into new and intriguing territories.
Although Harry mentions Chocolate Frog as the title of Mad-Eye Moody’s autobiography at the end of my previous tale, The Dark Phoenix, this version of the story goes beyond that. Nonetheless, the sections representing Moody’s memoirs are clearly labeled.
This story begins with events recounted in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and continues beyond the end of the series. I have attempted to conform to canon as much as possible, elaborating only where the circumstances are vague or passed over. It is an interpretation of the events that happened behind the scenes, so to speak.
This chapter could have stood as a one shot apart from the story if you wanted. It moved me to tears and I actually had to stop reading at one point to keep from breaking down and having a full out sob fest. Just a completely beautiful and heart breaking chapter.
Author's Response: This is one of my favorite chapters, too. I’m pleased that my words moved you; it’s hard not to care deeply for these characters that have carried us through so many books. I always felt that the ending to DH was bittersweet at best. Hopefully, this story will establish how these characters continue to live on – and not just in people’s memories. I’ll just leave it at that so as not to spoil anything.
Summary: They're using his greenhouses and his plants to torment first years. Neville isn't going to let that slide, no matter who the tormentors - or the tormented - may be.
As always, the Harry Potter universe and everything in it is property of J.K. Rowling.
This story is on a temporary hiatus until I finish some of my other WIPs. Thank you for coming to check it out, and I promise I'm not going to just let it end here!
I thought the first chapter would have been fine as a one shot, but now I I can't wait for the rest of the story!

I love this series. So, when can I expect Chapter One of the next book?
