However, when a new relationship between the two forms, will Hermione be able to summon the courage to expose their lost love? Will she reveal to him the missing portion of his life? This story is pre-HBP/DH CH 16 Coming Soon
the last time this story was updated was 5 years ago? i really enjoyed reading it...
Summary: The note fluttered up through the air, arcing gracefully over the windowsill to her lap. Her eyes found the photograph attached to her vanity mirror as she unfolded it – his eyes smiled out at her. I love you, Lils. I always will.
im a little bit confused by the start where Lily looks at a "he" across the lawn. i'm assuming "he" is a stag, but is it a patronus or the animagus form of Severus or James? from the story it seems like the notes are from Severus but (to me) the image of a stag is more of James, while Severus's patronus is a doe. I understand what happens after that though. Overall it's a very good one shot that manages to capture the situation without actually describing it whole, and you did a really good job of conveying Lily's emotions.
Summary: Sequel to "An Aversion to Change."
It's Voldemort's world now: a world of corruption, betrayal, greed, and violence. A world of evil thoughts and evil deeds, where no one can be trusted, especially those closest to you.
But through it all, there must be strength. There must exist those who will stand up to totalitarian rule, who will say no when others submit, who must survive despite their condition. There must exist the resilient.
Eventual Draco/Hermione with plenty of plot. Very dark, so read at your own risk!
wow i loved reading your story, it's like reading something that Ms. Rowling herself could have written! i especially love the part about blood tying the Malfoys and their spouses together, it fits so well i would have believed it if i didnt remind myself that this is a fanfiction, and i really like it that you showed Lucius Malfoy as having a heart; in many of the dramione fanfics he's ignored or shown as a heartless brute when it's hinted in the books that he's not. Thank you for writing this fantastic story and for sharing it! by the way, i always thought the word "shite" was spelled without the e at the end, is it just spelled differently in your country?
p.s. i made an account just to read this and "An Aversion to Change" lol
Author's Response: I'm from the U.S., so it's spelled "shit" here. One of the many Brit-picks I'm sure escaped my notice - sorry for the inconsistency!! But I'm so glad you liked my story, and I'm very flattered that you think so highly of my writing! JKR is one of my idols, so being compared to her is a true compliment. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!!
Summary: After the Dark Lord's victory, Hermione is given a chance to live under one condition- to marry Draco Malfoy and continue the dwindling bloodline. Refusing to succumb to her destiny, Hermione devises a plan to escape and reunite with Ron before the wedding. Will she be able to successfully carry out her plan with the wedding a week away without Draco Malfoy knowing? Or will she unexpectedly fall in love with him?
i hope you continue writing this story! i noticed it was last updated quite a while ago, and it's really interesting and has a lot of potential to be really good!
~hoping and waiting for chapter 3
Summary: Lily Evans finds herself disappointed when James Potter begins dating a new student during seventh year. A casual conversation about how to deal with it leads to unexpected consequences for her…and Sirius Black.
it was a little hard to keep track of who was talking at first, since it's such a different way to write a story, but i really enjoyed reading it! it puts these three characters in a more human light, something believable. thank you for sharing this story.
Author's Response: Thanks for the lovely review! It does take some getting use to, I guess - the dialogue only. I just hear it so clearly in my head it comes naturally to me. I'm glad you enjoyed it. THanks so much for the lovely review! ~Gina :)
