Scenes from Shell Cottage by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: This fic is a series of missing moments from the time H/R&H were at Shell Cottage, beginning immediately after they Disapparated from Malfoy Manor. JKR shows us what was going on with Harry, but this is my version of what could have happened with Ron and Hermione after one of the most emotional/disturbing events in the entire series.

UPDATED June 2010 When I first wrote this fic, I didn't know what a beta reader was, and frankly, it showed. Thanks so much to Natalie for helping me polish this up and make it more readable. Thanks also to both Julia and Carole, whose helpful comments in the review section allowed me to make some much-needed corrections during the rewrite. I would love to know what you think ~ reviews are very much appreciated!

This was nominated in the 2010 Quicksilver Quill Awards for Best Canon Romance.

Cried. cried. cried.

Author's Response: Is that good or bad? Haha. Thanks for reading and reviewing. :)

Girl Talk & Goodbyes by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The wedding cake is gone; the bride and groom are honeymooning. Yet Molly Weasley cannot seem to relax and enjoy the family that lingers in the aftermath of the celebration. She knows the easy laughter they enjoy tonight will be short lived, because three teenagers are leaving in the morning with a job so serious no one will even speak its nature aloud.

Molly knows no magic that will stop morning from coming. But she can make stew and fan the flames of laughter; she can tell someone something she's been wanting to say for years. And she can hold them all while she has them.

''She pressed her lips together in a thoughtful smile and slipped inside, clicking the door shut behind her. Ron turned and leaned his back against the wall, tipping his head back to stare at the ceiling. He sighed heavily as the bathroom door opened and Harry emerged.

He looked Ron over. “You’re pathetic, you know that?”

“I know,” Ron agreed miserably. He slowly recovered and fell in step behind Harry, following him up to the attic bedroom. ''
Loved the ending. come to think of it, loved the entire story soo much. keep writing will you, sply since JKR isnt. :)

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm so glad you liked the ending. :)

No Contest by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Sunshine spilled down onto the small grassy spot through a window in the tall trees. She stood a couple of yards back, staring at eleven letters cut into rock. It was beautiful, and yet, to Hermione’s eyes, nowhere near a worthy enough tribute for a life so full of rambunctious joy.

The wedding scene, even the joke ill be the one in white seems a little repetitive of the twilight wedding scene. i like the story though.

Author's Response: Huh. I'm not really familiar with that scene, so I will have to chalk that up to coincidence. Glad you liked the story. Thanks for the review.

Seventh Year Slytherin by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Kenley Allen was about to begin her seventh year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and she was more than ready. The summer holiday had seemed longer than usual with her mum traveling frequently and Kenley running out of things to do for amusement.

Things change, however, when she reluctantly accepts an invitation from her new step-father to join him in Diagon Alley for the day. Chance meetings and awkward conversations abound.

**beams** This story won the third round of the Character Clinic Triathalon! Category: original characters

I think just the fact that i specially made an account to review this story tell a lot. Loved the story and am really curious about the her being in Slytherin. I would love to see more James stories. :)

Author's Response: ONce I finish Letters from the Tent, this fic is going to be bumped up in my priority list. I still have plans to make it a chaptered story. Thanks for registering and taking time to leave me a review. I'm glad you liked James here. :)

Taking Direction by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: What if the characters in the Harry Potter films were portrayed—not by actors—but by the book versions of themselves, as created by Rowling? How might things unfold on that set? What would the characters think of the changes made from the stories they’d already lived out… to the ones written for the script?

This fic is a series of one-shots, posted as chapters, each from the perspective of a different character who is dealing with the changes occurring between the book and the script.

Holy Movie Canon, Batman! This fic won the 2011 Quicksilver Quill Award for Best Chaptered Humor Story. Thanks so, so much!
