All Right, Evans? by anglophile
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 272]
Summary: Everyone knows the story after that Halloween night that Harry Potter became an orphan... but what about before? James Potter and Lily Evans are two young people with an extroadinary story of bravery, friendship, and love. Join them throughout their seven years at Hogwarts and see how the past affects the future.
Is this really your first fan fic? It's off to a great start. I love your style of writing.
The story was pretty good for a first-time fan fic. The last chapter needed work. What happened to Bellatrix? How did McGonagall find the three of them if they were in an enclosed room? It left me questioning the whole of the story, which is not want a reader wants. And the setting wasn't really a good setting for the end of a story. Or a kiss. Choose something more romantic and cozy for the end. I hope for more lengthly chapters next time. I do hope you write more James/Loly fan fics in the future!
Just Another Love Story by HarrynHermione_06

Summary: Love. Hate. Anger. Relief. Sadness. Join a teenage Lily Evans as she boards an emotional roller coaster, courtesy of our favorite raven-haired teen. Yes, I'm talking about James Potter.
I really liked it! And the Sirius follow-up got me thinking... I felt kind of devious doing so ;) You should make a sequel, definetely, to clear up that bit of unsurity. I would totally read it!
The Perfect Cliché by MagEd

Summary: Here's the story of awkward situations. The story of a stubborn girl and a determined boy. The story of broom closets, bra straps and declarations of affection. Here's the fairy-tale story of how Lily Evans finally fell for the bullying toerag James Potter. *one-shot*

Why does Sirius, in every story of yours, always make me crack up? He's hilarious!
7 Ways to Win Her Heart by x_lily_evans_x
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 200]
Summary: COMPLETED
Ah, Christmas. The season of joy and love. And Head Boy James Potter fully intends to use the loving atmosphere to his advantage by coming up with plans and using them to capture the heart of Lily Evans.
But since when do plans transfer beautifully from parchment to life?
Six plans become five, five become four, four become three, three become two, two become one, and then there are none.
Then his friends come to the rescue.
But of course.
Thanks for writing this! I really thought it was fun to read, and believable. I can't say that about a lot of other James/Lily fanfics. I even found myself laughing out loud sometimes. You nailed some of the characters, which is really hard to do in my opinion. Keep up the good work!
Fairytale by x_lily_evans_x
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 39]
Summary: Seventeen-year-old Rose Weasley has always liked romance of the fairytale variety. She thinks she’s found her Prince Charming in Daniel Corner, the handsome Ravenclaw Seeker. But into her life enters Scorpius Malfoy, and it’s unclear whether he’ll be leaving it anytime soon. Suddenly it’s as if Rose is trapped in one of those devastatingly romantic soap operas her mother keeps telling her about… only that she’s not sure if it will have a happy ending… if she will have a happy ending.
I wish that Hermione had had more of a personality i the 1st chapter. And Rose is 17 now. She needs a bit more charisma. Some sass. Anything. Right now, she is like vanilla ice cream. Everyone likes her, but there is nothing uniqueabout her. Yet. I have high hopes for this fanfic because I was going to write one about the same couple. And I want something to compete against. I await the rest of the story...

In the beginning, my childhood, the path was clear. Follow the seven rules, go to school, graduate and get married. It was my duty as well as my destiny.
Yet, starting on my seventeenth birthday, a series of events caused everything I had ever known to change. A single boy broke through into my sheltered existence and made me rethink everything I had ever thought. Suddenly I was faced with a new future, an alternative destiny. One that was entirely unknown.
In the end I had to choose.

Superiority and Sarcasm by R_Ravenclaw
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 12]
Summary: The last thing Draco expects to find when he escapes his parents’ party is another deserter. He also doesn’t expect her to be quite so sarcastic, arrogant, or — well — so much like him.
Draco/Astoria
This Fan Fiction was great because Draco was IN CHARACTER. Nice job!
Summary:
It wasn’t that he didn’t love Astoria – he did.
He just wasn’t sure he could love a child.
Draco Malfoy was never one for fathering. Little kids disgusted him; babies horrified him. And yet, Astoria is pregnant. As it comes down to the final hours, he is torn between his love for his wife and his contempt for a small blonde one. Is Draco a man of his head or his heart?
For Joanna.
Wow I liked this one a lot. I could FEEL Draco's pain, and it was like his thoughts were mine. Nice job, maybe you should try writing a love story between Draco and Astoria because you've really got the characters down. Great story!
Drowning in Darkness by MerrryD
Rated: Professors [Reviews - 8]
Summary:
Narcissa Black was fine.
She was doing well in school, her sister was getting married, and she had a boyfriend.
Oh, yes, she had a boyfriend. Dark, tall, enchanting Rabastan Lestrange. He was every Slytherin girl’s fantasy. Narcissa had been dreaming about him for years. And now he was all hers.
But Lucius Malfoy was worried about her.
that was engaging!

“Guilt brings people together. It’s a takes one to know one type thing.”
James Potter has always been a spoiled, arrogant, lazy show-off. When he enters his final year at Hogwarts School, he’s Head Boy . . . and he’s still a spoiled, arrogant, lazy, show-off. But because of that terrible summer, he’s also guilt-ridden.
Lily Evans has always been a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. When she begins her last year at Hogwarts, she’s Head Girl . . . and still a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. But the first night back — and the murder that takes the entire school by surprise — leave her guilt-ridden as well.
With the darkness that’s surrounding the Wizarding world slowly seeping, at long last, onto the grounds of Hogwarts and into the lives of James Potter and Lily Evans, what comes next?
*Completed*
That. Was. Incredible. I was so pulled into this! Oh, I was so sad when it ended! I loved how you explained things that J.K. Rowling casually left out like how the Map was taken. So well written! Definetely a perfect story to read first by you. I hope to read more James/Lily multichapters by you in the near future!
Prelude to an Affair by Liandrin
Rated: Professors [Reviews - 67]
Summary: Every great love affair has a beginning: this is Draco's and Ginevra's...
What are dreams? Are they just an outlet for our conscious minds, or are they merely a means of escape? Do we have any control over them, or do they only have control over us? Ginevra Weasley and Draco Malfoy are about to learn a hard, fast lesson in what is fantasy, and what is reality.
Aw that was so good! Not something that I would choose to read randomly given the sexual content but I'm so glad I read it! Thank you so much!
Author's Response: Thank you. Yes, I can't believe I included sexual content either. Hehe. Luckily it was nothing to explicit. :P
Summary: The heart is meant to endure, even through the greatest heart breaks. But what makes us forgive and learn to love again?
I like your Blaise/ Luna fics :)
Author's Response: Too sweet! While I love Luna with everyone, my favourites are Blaise and Theodore. :)
Things Change by Gmariam
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 78]
Summary:
James Potter has changed: no longer an arrogant, irresponsible prankster, he has matured into a responsible Head Boy with tops marks in Transfiguration. Lily Evans has changed as well: normally studious and in control, she has lost focus as she struggles with Head Girl responsibilities and N.E.W.T level studies. An unexpected encounter in the corridors one weekend leads to several startling realizations, the least of which is that things have definitely changed between James Potter and Lily Evans.
This story was nominated for a 2010 QSQ and is now complete.
Very good! I enjoy your longer stories, like this. Please make more!!
Anywhere Else But Here by Liandrin
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 26]
Summary: Boy meets girl. Girl meets boy. Sparks fly. Dreadfully romantic, wouldn't you agree? Well, that depends on your definition of ‘sparks’—or the boy and girl involved. No, I'm afraid this isn't one of your typical clichéd romances—it’s the other one. So, take a seat and get comfortable. You’re in for quite a ride.
I liked this fanfic, like many of your others. You are an excellent writer and I encougage you to write even more Draco/Ginnys for the sake of my interest. You inspire me!
Author's Response: Aww, thank you so much. :) Actually, I'm working on a Draco/Ginny one-shot right now. :)
Summary:
The Boy Who Lived discovers that he may not have escaped the Final Battle unscathed after all.
1. Try not to cry
2. Lay down
3. Cry a lot
Author's Response: I'm sorry you cried. Would it help to know that your review made me smile? Not because you cried, just the way you wrote it, lol. Thank you so much for reading this story! I really appreciate the review. Here is some Kleenex. ;) ~Gina :)
Modus Vivendi by Liandrin
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 18]
Summary: Writer’s block is to stress as Dragon Pox is to sickness. And banter is to romance as Draco is to Ginny. Or something like that. I dunno. Put down something witty and then tell everyone I wrote it.
Wow, it was a really unique writing form but I actually loved it. Well done!
Author's Response: Again, thank you. You're too kind. ^_^
Because You Came by hestiajones
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 36]
Summary: As soon as he saw her, Draco knew she was the one. But Astoria wasn't like any girl he had ever met. To get her, he would have to become something beyond who he was. He would have to get his life back in order and change for good.
Written as a birthday present for two fierce lawyers of Ronald Weasley - Amanda/ahattab33 and Lori/WeasleyMom. Disclaimer: I am not J. K. Rowling. Winner of the 2011 QSQ's Best Canon Romance Story (Chaptered)Not really my favorite fanfiction, but the epilogue was great!
Author's Response: Okies! I'd like to know why you didn't love the rest. ;)
