"Love is unexplainable. There are no words for it. You can’t express why you feel so. It just happens," James said. "“Don’t you think that if I had the choice I would have chosen to love someone who didn’t hate me in return?”
“No,” Sirius said simply.
“You’re right.” James said, sighing. “I’m so screwed up, Padfoot.”
The drama-filled romantic tale of Lily and James's mysterious but unfortunate tale. It started with love and ended with death. It makes you wonder about the things they tried to live for. Pre-HBP
Im loving this story so far, but I think that everyone is falling in and out of love with each other a bit too quickly, which makes it slightly unrealistic.
I like how in this chapter you remind us of the present war with voldemort. However I think the emotion is rather u understated considering that James has just learnt that his parents are dead.
Yes I think that events are all happening far too quickly in this chapter, but contrary to what you think, I love the bit with Remus and Katy!
This is quite a sad chapter as they have a dream about their future together and how they will die for their child. It could really spur them on to fight voldemort even harder!
Good spot of 'damsel in distress' medicine in this chapter. Always works with the reader. Voldemort's character is really wrong though.
Well, I don't think rescuing Lily would have been that easy.
Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)
I have thoroughly enjoyed this story and it's amazingly well written! My particular favourites are the mood ring Jinx (what an original idea!) I think this chapter is a lovely moment of connection between Draco and Hermione, that really supports the plot! I'm a massive fan!
Summary: The dust has settled and the final battle is over now that Harry has defeated Voldemort for the last time......Harry is eager to get on with the rest of his life and is feeling kind of spontaneous, so why not get married?.... Tomorrow....... Mainly Harry/Ginny with some Ron/Hermione Rated for sexual references
I think this is a nice story and I'm a real fan of this ship, but I think the personalities of Harry and Ginny are displayed all wrong. For instance, Harry isn't as soppy as you've portrayed and considering what Harry is like in the 7th year do you really think he would be having sex repeatedly only a year later? The Harry/Ginny ship would still be at a tentative
Summary: When Lavender Brown returns to Hogwarts for her seventh year, she knows things will be hard. Professor Dumbledore’s death has scared everybody, and with her Muggle-born mother in hiding, she makes a promise to her father to stay safe.
But to stay safe she must ignore her instincts and turn her back on her friends.
This is a Lavender Brown/Blaise Zabini story, but also concerns that last year at Hogwarts when the Trio were a'hunting Horcruxes.
Thank you to Laura (bookofsecrets) and Terri (mudbloodproud) for beta'ing the first chapter, Alyssa (Harry4lif) for the second and Emma (Amortentia x) for taking over the reins. And Natalie for the last chapter.

This story won the 2010 QSQ for Best Chaptered Non-Canon Romance. Thank you to everyone who nominated, appreciated and judged.

“You and I, we'll be young forever!” *
After a long, interesting, sweltering summer the Marauders are back for their sixth year, and they feel as though their teenage lives have only just begun.
James has been pursuing Lily for years, and he sure as hell isn't going to give up now. Sirius might actually be falling in love (though of course that can't be possible, can it?), and Remus is struggling with problems in his own family. Meanwhile, Peter has to decide how much worth he can put on friends who he will never live up to. And then there's Lily Evans, a girl who's starting to fall for the very man she swore not to. Diana McKinnon, her best friend, keeps finding herself staring at a certain grey-eyed Gryffindor, even though every piece of logic she has tells her that he's trouble.
But even though there's the looming danger of NEWTs, pranks, oily Slytherins, and physical education, a much bigger problem has presented itself. The Marauders' sixteen-year-old world isn't the safe place it used to be. There are rumors of danger and dark magic throughout the school, and of a powerful dark wizard named Voldemort. The Gryffindor sixth years have to decide where their true allegiances lie and how much they are willing to sacrifice for a war that seems impossible to win.
*Title and quote taken from the lyrics of Katy Perry's summer hit Teenage Dream.
Note 3/26: Ok guys so I know that I haven't updated in forever, but I promise I'll finish the story! I'm struggling with some stuff, but hang in there, I haven't forgotten.
Lots and lots and lots of love, Olivia
Really well written! You're one of the few candid writers I know who can really get the personalities of the characters right!!
Not sure about the bit where Annalisa says she's gay, but I guess that has something to do with the future plot?? Do carry on writing it, I'm really enjoying it!
Author's Response: Thanks! The plot is being renovated right now, but maybe possibly Chapter 6 will be here soon. The Annalisa thing... I feel like a lot of Marauder stories don't address that. Or maybe I just haven't read enough Marauder stories! ~Olivia
