Right Under His Nose by CathCarl
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 901]
Summary: Harry comes back from serving detention with Ron and finds Ginny and Dean in a rather compromising position. A strange and confusing set of new feelings erupts... like wanting to punch Dean Thomas senseless. But what's confusing Harry most of all is that Ginny no longer seems to be just Ron's little sister... she's a beautiful girl, standing right under his nose-- exactly where he hadn't been looking.

Not sure why anything in HBP would make you want to stop writing this great story. Sure, every fanfic becomes A/U every time a new novel comes out, but that's fine. It's interesting the hostility the Weasley's seem to have in your fic. In most Harry/Ginny fics, they're immediately in favor of the relationship! As long as all ends well, that's fine with me!! :) In short, great chapter, great story, thanks for writing it!!!
You're pretty hard on yourself. This was a really good chapter that did a lot to move the plot forward. I didn't find Ginny to be OOC at all. I think it was just fine and I'm really glad to see an update at long last!!
What a great story!! I just found it and can't wait to see Ch. 13. I'm amazed at how well you anticipated the HBP in this story. Thank you very much for writing it and (hopefully) giving us much much more! (I do feel bad for poor Dean though. He's not to blame. I hope you'll find a way for him to be happy too!!)

Summary:
Wow.. outstanding story. Your prose is excellent (shout out to your beta reader!) and you capture the characters very well. I hope you're not going to take this down a dark/angsty path, because if so, you've got it in the wrong category. :) Looking forward to the next part, esp. when Ginny finally reads that letter!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Only the next few chapters are kinda dark and angsty and then it will lighten up....i promise....Ginny wil eventually read the letter (I actually just wrote that scene) but Im not promising that she will read it anytime soon......
Great chapter. Once again, your prose is excellent. I liked the Mind, Heart and (esp.) Passion. I feel somewhat confident (fingers crossed) that you'll come through with the big happy ending... please don't disappoint me!!! :)
Author's Response: aww well i dont want to disappoint such great reviewer.....
Pure & Proud by SeaIsleWitch
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 268]
Summary: Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson were destined to share a privileged life until the devastating circumstances of their sixth year at Hogwarts tore them apart. Five years later, they separately strive to come to terms with the past and proceed with a life they did not expect…alone. Pure & Proud is presented through alternating chapters of Draco's brooding journal and Pansy's idiosyncratic diary.
~ Pansy Parkinson is written by Sea Isle Witch ~ Twenty-two year old Pansy seemingly has everything a young witch could desire; yet she struggles to build a life for herself independent of her pure-blood family's expectations and without her one true love. From the pages of her private diary, Miss Parkinson shares a précis of the past five years and then gives us a glimpse of her current challenges.
~ Draco Malfoy is written by Desslok and Sea Isle Witch ~ After spending a year on the run and then a year in Azkaban, Draco Malfoy was expelled from England by the Ministry of Magic. He spent the last three years travelling the Continent until he realised it was time to come home. Mr Malfoy discloses his journey back from exile, beginning with a statement to the Ministry of Magic in November of 2002. Complete!
I absolutely approve. You did a far better job than I would have done. I'm glad I could help get this going. I'm sorry I vanished on you, but knew you'd complete it with the same high degree of quality you demonstrate in all your writings. Everytime Pansy pops up in the movies or books, I think of you.
Thanks both of you for the very kind words! I know that SIW is really carrying the load on this story and hope that I'll be able to keep up my end of the bargain. Still, I think it adds a bit to Draco's aura of mystery when the reader doesn't quite know exactly what he's been up to. :)
