This is a really impressive story, I love the way it's writtne from first person, and the short, almost snappy sentences give it an air of being thought in someone's head rapidly, as if re-living a memory. It puts me in mind of Severus and Lily, except obviously more extreme, but I'm unsure whether you meant it to relfelct their story or not, as it was the male in this story who was betrayed, not the female.

I would have liked to have a couple of names of te charcters at the end, perhapas, jsut to give them a little more personality, are they perhaps decendants of people from the original stories?

Anywho, nitpicking aside I thought it was an excellent read, very well done :)
