Summary: James Potter is Head Boy and Gryffindor Quidditch captain in his seventh year at Hogwarts. He has three best friends and his life seems perfect--except that Lily Evans, the only girl he's ever loved, can't stand him.
Lily Evans is Head Girl and top of their class. She's always been disgusted by James' arrogance, yet she can't seem to stop blushing when he's around.
As their Head Boy and Girl duties bring them together, can James find a way to win Lily's love?

aww, this installment had me tearing up. Can't wait for the next installment!
Author's Response: Thank you for the review! :) I feel bad for making several people tear up with this chapter, though it is meant to be sad to accurately describe Mrs. Potter's condition and James' desperation. I'm working on Chapter 12 right now, but it'll have to be quite good to measure up to this one!
I really liked this chapter. My thought after reading this was "I wonder how James will take the news that Carl pushed Lily?"
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing!! James has a lot of other things on his mind to say the least, which you'll see from chapter 11, but there's no love lost between Carl and him as it is.
