The Bacchus Book by Equinox Chick
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 30]
Summary:
On the morning of Christmas Day, 2000, Hermione Granger (soon-to-be-Weasley) wakes up from a delightful dream to find herself in a bathroom at Grimmauld Place.
As various Weasleys queue up to tell her all about her behaviour the night before at Aunt Muriel's birthday party, Hermione is in a state of shock.
She knows she didn't drink anything stronger than Butterbeer. So why was she wearing a toga and teaching everyone how to perform Greek dancing?
And what, in the name of Merlin, was she doing with George?
This is Equinox Chick and this is my entry for the extra credit challenge 'In Vino Veritas' for the Winter Snows 09 competition over at the MNFF beta boards.
Thank you to Apurva for beta'ing this tale in time. Thanks also to various people on AIM for telling me to get on with this (Jess, Natalie, Hannah, Russia, Kara, BB)
Disclaimer: I'm not JK Rowling. She would never have written anything quite so daft.
Claimer: I have disgraced myself wearing a toga before now.
That was so funny!
I'd really like to know how the thing with McLaggen goes :)
-Livie
Author's Response: Thank you. Um, I don't think it goes well with McLaggen as I suspect Ron's actions will be swift and painful. Glad you enjoyed the story ~Carole~

Taking Direction by WeasleyMom
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 109]
Summary: What if the characters in the Harry Potter films were portrayed—not by actors—but by the book versions of themselves, as created by Rowling? How might things unfold on that set? What would the characters think of the changes made from the stories they’d already lived out… to the ones written for the script?
This fic is a series of one-shots, posted as chapters, each from the perspective of a different character who is dealing with the changes occurring between the book and the script.

Holy Movie Canon, Batman! This fic won the 2011 Quicksilver Quill Award for Best Chaptered Humor Story. Thanks so, so much!

This one halarious!
I like the part where Hermione is mad at Ron and the Director and then she randomly points to some guy and says: And that man too. I just broke down into laughter when I read it!
I also liked the part where they hear the loud bangs coming from Hermiones dressing room and she's throwing stuff around!
-Livie
Author's Response: Knowing it made you laugh out loud is the best! Thanks so much for the review--I really appreciate it!
This one was funnier. I liked it more than the first. :)
-Livie
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked it.
Scorpius Malfoy and the Sins of the Fathers by Hotrav
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 80]
Summary:
We are all influenced by the actions or inactions of our parents. The same is true of Scorpius Malfoy; he has been raised by an overly protective mother and a father who is still coming to grips with the mess that his own father made of his life. Scorpius knows that he will be judged at Hogwarts by what others know or think they know about his father and grandfather.
At Hogwarts Scorpius will meet:
Albus Potter the middle child of ‘The Great Harry Potter’ and Quidditch star Ginny Weasley Potter. A boy who not only has things to live up to but an older brother ready to remind him of who’s boss.
Rose Weasley, Albus’ surrogate sister/first cousin, struggling in her own way, not her mother’s way, to succeed.
Kaitlin Jones, daughter of Tornados player Owain Jones and favorite niece of Gwenog Jones, who is at home on a broom and lost almost everywhere else.
Jimber Dokes recent immigrant from the West Indies trying to fit his own magical heritage Vardoo with the Western style of magic taught at the school
Thad Vance, the Gryffindor Quidditch captain, his grandfather and all of his uncles and aunts were killed by Death Eaters, maybe Lucius Malfoy
Meanwhile in London, Draco and Astoria Malfoy try to build a new life and legacy by betting all they own on a Potions Shop in Diagon Alley.

A Different Kind Of Magic 2: Parenthood by xxbabewithbrainsxx
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 28]
Summary: A sequel, of sorts, to A Different Kind Of Magic. Ginny’s being dragged along by Teddy to see his and his grandma's new house. What could possibly go wrong?
Well, when Ginny’s heavily pregnant and Teddy full of five-year-old energy…the answer to that is…everything.
The rating is purely due to Ginny's choice of language, and rest assured it is very brief.

Awwwwww it made my heart ache!!!!!
You should start making a story out of what you've started cuz ur a really good writer! And I'm sure alot of people- including me!!!!- would want you to continue this into something bigger, more exciting, and if you make the story longer then it might be read by more, and more people!
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I'm going through major writer's block at the moment, so maybe writing more Harry/Ginny fluff will make things easier. In the meantime, you might want to check out my other chaptered (and, I hope, more exciting) fics -- both are completed: Blood and Roses, which is a Scorose story, and Checkmate, which is James/Lily. Thank you for your review.

Snow in June by lucilla_pauie
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 14]
Summary: Sometimes the snow comes down in June, sometimes the sun goes ‘round the moon. Sometimes love happens like the pop of a balloon. And sometimes you learn to live with it before you learn you’re also nose-deep in it.
Why would Lucious Malfoy marry a muggle???
-Livie
Again, kinda hard to follow at times.
But other wise... Good. :)
