Summary: Giving high school essays a Marauder twist, this fiction is centered around the idea that some seniors in high school are require to write a letter to incoming freshman before they graduate. At Hogwarts, Seventh Years are given an assignment to write such a letter for the new First Years. Sirius decides to actually take an assignment, well seriously...sort of. He decides to look back on his entire Hogwarts years and write down his list of things not to do at Hogwarts.
I really really really liked this. It's just the kind of thing Sirius would do. The end was really touching.
Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)
I loved this!!!!!!!! Are you ever planning on continuing it though? PLEASE?!!!!!!!!
Summary: Enclosed here is a printed copy of the one and ONLY valentine that You- Know-Who, yes, he HIMSELF, in all his evil glory, ever wrote. With witty rhyme and winning words it shows you the other side of this seemingly heartless man. And to make it a little more interesting I'm not going to tell you who it is written to (*evil laugh*) in the poem. You can guess in your reviews and I'll tell you if you are right. If you are the first to correctly guess the person, I’ll give you the code for an icon I made and you can post it on your bio (if you want). Good Luck! Hope you enjoy! Please review!
Is he in love with Bellatrix? Cuz I am too!(I'm a girl, I mean like I love her character;))
Really good. I love how his twisted mind defines love.
Remus Lupin has always been different, ever since he was bitten by a werewolf and forced to live his life with the curse. He had no friends and never expected to have any until he started Hogwarts. But even once he entered school his wish didn't come true, until his third year. Remus would soon learn that with every good comes something equally bad.
Excerpt from Chapter Nineteen:
“What do you want, Lupin?” he asked exasperatedly.
“You hate me, don’t you?” Remus said in a friendly manner, as though he and Snape had been best friends since infancy.
“Gee, what tipped you off?” Snape retorted sarcastically.
“Then you would love to see me get hurt, wouldn’t you?”
“Well yes, I would enjoy that.”
“Especially if it was of my own doing?”
“That would make it even more amusing.”
“Then would you do me the favor of telling Larry Wilkins that I’d like to meet him out by the greenhouses at ten o’ clock tonight?”
I really liked this. But James, Sirius, and Peter abandoning him when he bit that girl? I just don't think they would. They seemed so understanding about the whole werewolf thing so them abandoning him was a little off.
Author's Response: Well, the reason they did that was because it was supposed to be another of Remus's worst fears coming true. Thanks for reading!
Summary: Ugh! Valentine's Day. Professor Snape has never liked the holiday, and now he must endure a Valentine's Day after Gilderoy Lockhart idiotically suggests that students ask the Potions Master to show them how to "whip up a love potion."
But one never knows how one will react, should someone be brave enough to ask the Potions Master about love potions.
This was a great story. I liked how Snape was actually nice and it showed that he had a heart, something that most people ignore. Great job!
Summary: Chapter Ninety Six is posted!
This is the story of four boys. This is the story of a boy from a family he wants to escape from. This is the story of a boy who is from a family he loves deeply, but lacks the gift of a best friend. This is the story of a boy who has been living with a curse his entire life, fighting to overcome it. This is the story of a boy who wishes to show people what he can do. This is the story of how these four boys came to know each other, of how they became friends. This is the story of their unbreakable bond, of a bond that could survive any test, any trial. This is a story that will ultimately end in tragedy.
Nominated for a 2007 and 2009 Quicksilver Quill Award - Best Marauder's Era Featured Mugglenet Fanfiction, October 2011
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!
That was amazing! I really liked how you ended it with Teddy getting on the train. Peter's betrayal was also done very well.
Author's Response: Thanks! I had fun writing Peter's betrayal, so I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for reading!
Summary: “What people don’t realize is that Sirius Black is a false name...the man people believe to be Sirius Black is actually Stubby Boardman...
Kingsley Shacklebolt is sent to question Stubby Boardman, a former pop singer who has lost his luster. A simple task? So it would seem...
OH MY GOD HILARIOUS!!!!
Kingsley threw the turnip. Kingsley threw the turnip. Kingsley threw the turnip!
Summary: On the night before her wedding to James, Lily wakes up with icy feet. So when a ghost from her past shows up out of the blue, what can she do but wait for the sun to rise?
This was good. I'm crying, seriously.
Summary: Dieter Heydrich is a model German boy. He has perfect Aryan complexion, is an exemplary member of the Hitler Youth, and is fanatically loyal to his beloved Führer.
But on his eleventh birthday, Dieter discovers a hidden magical world led by an extraordinary wizard named Gellert Grindelwald…
Nominated for QSQ 2009, Best History/Mystery.
WINNER of QSQ 2009, Best Male Original Character.
Note: As you might have guessed, Für Das Größere Wohl is German, meaning: “For the Greater Good.” Yes, this story is from the perspective of the bad guys.
First off, I love this story and it is the one thing keeping me from dying of boredom while babysitting now. But one thing. I'm Jewish and to name a Jew Haman? FYI, that's the name of someone who tried to kill Jews. So, that just bugs me a little.
Summary: Rita Skeeter is an infamous journalist whose "savage quill has punctured many inflated reputations." But was she always like the annoying pest who Harry knows? What about her story? How did she become the Rita Skeeter we all love to hate?
This is hestiajones of Hufflepuff House writing for the Untold Story Challenge. It won the challenge, and has been nominated recently for a QSQ in Best General category. :D
Thanks to Fresca (Colores) for betaing! You really helped me give the story a coherent whole. And to Carole (Equinox Chick) too, for the “revenge against the ex” tip. :D
DISCLAIMER: All characters and premises belong to J.K.Rowling. However, the Corner brothers, Simon Rosier and the Thorntons are mine. ;)
This was really really good. The only bad part was that I was looking forward to Harry bits and I didn't get any. But overall, this was a good story.
Author's Response: Ahhh...I never intended to write Harry. :( The challenge I wrote this for wanted more of a backstory on how the unlikeable characters got to be so. That's why I ended with Rita's final stage of metamorphosis into a cunning cow of the highest order. Thanks for the review, though! I'm glad you liked it overall.
Summary: ‘I’m half and half,’ said Seamus. ‘Me dad’s a Muggle. Mam didn’t tell him she was a witch ’til after they were married. Bit of a nasty shock for him.’
You'd love to hear this story, wouldn't you?
Thanks to Emma (Amortentia_x) for the Irishpick! :D And I am not J.K.Rowling, though they all belong to her.
Nominated for a QSQ in the Best Humour category.
Author's Response: :D Nice to know you found this funny. :)
Summary: Ron proves his comedic mettle to a sceptical Fred. Completely AU silliness. Rated for very mild language.
That was really cute.
Summary: A fun little poem about the day Fred and George "graduated" from Hogwarts. Inspired by "Sing a Song of Sixpence".
Very cute. I actually sang it!
Summary: Never tickle a sleeping dragon. This should be fairly obvious, but Godric Gryffindor, the bravest man in England, has never cared about the obvious.
This story...'tis good!
Author's Response: Thanks.
Summary: Rose Weasley didn't mean to be different. She didn't intend to stand out in her family. She didn't expect to be Sorted... into Slytherin.
Author's Response: Will do!
Rose is a Slytherin? Uh oh...
Author's Response: Uh oh? Uh oh for whom is really the question here! There are some people who should be worried by this development, but are you suuure you know who they are? :-D
