My name is Joy. I'm sixteen. I play the violin. My passion is writing. My love is laughter - family, friends, the feeling that everything is right in the world, and all you can do is sit there and smile. I'm a junior in high school. I was born in Illinois, spent my childhood in Kansas, and now I live in California. I am a pastors kid, a big sister, and a nerd. I love shopping, driving with friends with the music blasting, and sitting on the beach. Nothing makes me happier than when people review my stories. (Please oblige.) I want to be the next Jane Austen. She's my hero: her story, her books, her humor. I want a Mr. Darcy;) Read my stuff.

Under Snape's Regime by joehook
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 60]
Summary: Neville and his friends have no choice but to return to Hogwarts. But will it even be like Hogwarts anymore, with Snape as Headmaster? Neville must stand strong while Harry, Ron and Hermione are surely on the run miles away...
Awesome story you have going!! One thing - in Snape's opening speech, he says to everyone that the Dark Lord is in charge. He wouldn't have said that. It says in the seventh book that Voldemort kept it a "secret" that he was in charge, rather than proclaiming himself Minister of Magic, so that he could blame Harry for Dumbledore's death, and cause fear and suspicion rather than outright opposition. Just a little error ;), but I thought you might want to know. Update soon I'm really enjoying this tale!!

So cute :) I love how you portray Ginny and Harry as parents, and the use of the names to show that the teenagers still live inside them. :D
Author's Response: Thanks. More from the Potter parents soon in another chapter of "Strangers". I had fun with the names. -N-
Spellbound by ravenclaw1997
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 11]
Summary:
Ginny Weasley is extremely excited for her first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and knows that it will be wonderful. She has all of her supplies, her books, and most importantly, a wand.
But is she ready for the twist Tom Riddle will send her way?
This story is an alternate Chamber of Secrets from Ginny's point-of-view, with some very interesting changes that could affect her whole life.
Crazy creepy, but I really love the way you're portraying Ginny. BTW love your choice of beta - I'd do the same, but working with my mom always requires a TON of patience!!
Author's Response: Thanks. I know it does! "I'll read it after dinner, I'll read it after I take a shower..." (: ~Manda

This is so sad!! :( But it was a great way to see where your interpretation of the Potterverse goes :)
Author's Response: Thanks. This is, I suppose, my “nineteen years later” although it’s actually eighty-four years later.
