Lovely!! A really interesting one-shot, and an interesting topic. You're right, there aren't that many Lily/James fics set in the war! I love your use of language in the argument... all over a great fic!!! :)
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'm glad you found it interesting and liked it overall :)
Never Ever by Black-Sand
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 7]
Summary: Never and ever are two simple words sometimes overlooked, but putting them together means something permanent. Never ever is a phrase that shouldn’t be said unless you mean it. The question is: does George mean it enough to never ever stop from following it through?
George/OC
Thank you, AlexPotter, for being my beta.
awww... this story has been in my favourites for months; and i can always come back to it, knowing it will cheer me up, when i am despairing at the lack of Weasley twins fics on this site... :( great chapter :)

Wow. This is definitley one of my favourite romance fan fics - a really good idea! My fave pairings here are probably the Rose/Scorpius one, and the Molly/Arthur one, because I never really thought about the Weasleys' relationship before they were introduced in Philosopher's Stone. Well done for writing such an original fic! :)

~Yevgeny Yevtushenko, "People"
His twin is dead, and as far as George can see, the whole world might as well have died, too. In other words, this is the story of how George Weasley grieved in seven steps. *one-shot*
I LOVE THIS FIC!!!! It made me cry in some parts and laugh in others - thanks for making my life a bit better. I always love it when I read a good fic! :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! This review makes my life a little bit better :)

Summary: "The pictures I have of you, the photographs, or the paintings I’ve done…none of them fully capture you. Each of them has something of you in it, of course. In one, I’ll have gotten your hair just right. In another, I’ll have perfectly replicated your eyes. But none of them is perfectly, completely you. And that…well, that’s what this is. This is going to be perfect. As perfect as you are. "

Summary: The seven women who loved Harry Potter.
Wow!! I love the idea, I think its really original! I had already read the one about Ron when I read this, and I really like that one too. My favourites were probably the Lily I, Molly, and Minerva. You captured the feeling really well and the idea about Minerva was really creative and unique! I also liked the Hermione, because the way you wrote about her feelings showed a really good take on their relationship without being too romantic. All round a fantastic piece of writing! :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! Minerva's is probably my favourite of Harry's, so I'm especially happy you liked it and thought it creative :)

Six weeks after the battle, Hermione puts on a bathing suit for the first time in nearly a year... scars are revealed as painful memories rise to the surface yet again.
I almost submitted this under dark/angst, but at the end of the day, I see it as Ron/Hermione. *shrug* Also, a gazillion thanks to my awesometastic beta Natalie, and to both Neil and Carole for helping me with all things British. :D
Totally awesomee writing!!! Very moving, and I think you captured Ron and Hermione's relationship very well...

Winner of the 2011 QSQ Award for Best Dark/Angsty One-shot!
It is true what they say about your life flashing before your eyes just before you die. As Theodore Nott, Death Eater like his father before him, stands on the battlefield in what is surely Hogwarts and his final hours, he remembers all that lays behind him: his father, the Dark Lord, the one girl he ever loved, and the thing he has forced himself to forget.
But you remember, don't you, Theodore?
Please tell me you remember me.
OMG!!! This is one of the first stories I read after joining and it is definitely my fave so far!!! Your use of the second person works really well, and it made me think much more about Theodore Nott - I never really noticed him in the book! :)
Author's Response: Yes, Theodore Nott is sadly overlooked. But then, he was only in about two sentences, and we knew very little. However, Theodore Nott is a character I adore. I'm glad you liked the story so well. Thank you for the review!
Mercy by hogwartsbookworm
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 12]
Summary: If you knew that the consequence of doing the right thing might be torture, or even death, would you still do it?
This story was inspired by something Neville said in passing. “…And then Michael Corner went and got caught releasing a first year they’d [the Carrows] chained up, and they tortured him pretty badly…”
This is the untold tale of an unsung hero: Michael Corner.
This is a really good story - I like the way you have chosen just a passing comment and turned it into a proper story. Your characterization is really thought-provoking, and shows how it's not just Gryffindors who showed great bravery during the reign of the Carrows at Hogwarts. I always like a good story about the trials of the students who remained at Hogwarts, as JK doesn't go into great detail about it in the book. All round a good use of language and a great read!!!
Author's Response: Thank you for the wonderful review! I'm glad you liked it.
Prefect Paralysed by ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 13]
Summary: On her first night of patrol, Molly Weasley was armed with the basic rules of how to be a prefect, but one guideline had been woefully omitted from the list: what to do when a handsome delinquent robbed her of her ability to think.
Very nice! I love the interjection of the rules inbetween the plot.. lovely touch! Great story overall :)
Author's Response:
I'm glad you liked it. I figured a bit of teenage reality had to come into play, which is far more like girl-meets-boy, girl-feels-like-deer-in-headlights. The rules were there to show she knew better but couldn't gather up the girl-stones to let her head rule instead of baser body parts, lol.
Thanks for reading and reviewing!
