Yeah update and WOW plot twist!! I didn' even think that that could happen! I thought of aa theroy though, about why he didn't gett into hogwarts, he may have gotten a letter and before he could see it, his father refused for him. Just a thought. Also, if Dudley had gone to hogwarts with Harry before he changed into nice Dudley, well Harry's life wouldn't have been so great. Also, he couldn't see the dementor in OOTP when only wizerds can see them... if he's a wizerd then how is that possible? Just a thought. I loveed the chapter however and can't wait to see where you're going with this!

The Lions of Gryffindor by Equinox Chick

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • 336 Reviews Past Featured Story
Summary: It is June 1976 and The Marauders are at the top of their game. From the outside they look to have everything. But appearances, as the saying goes, can be deceptive.

James is discovering that not everything in life is his for the taking. Sirius knows he will have to defy his formidable family. Remus lives in constant fear of his life beyond Hogwarts. As for Peter... Well, Peter is struggling to live up to his friends.

The ties of friendship are strong, but war is raging and with a dark power rising those ties will inevitably fray.

Added to the mix is an adversary called Severus Snape, some lost House Points, a prank or two and a whole lot of Lily.

This is a Marauder tale.

This is a story of what made them special.

This is a story of why it started to go wrong for The Lions of Gryffindor.

OH MY GOOD GODRIC! Lions of Gryffindor won the 2009 QSQ for Best Marauders' Era Story. Amazed and incredibly grateful to those who nominated, judged and have beta'd this fic. THANK YOU.

Arthur's Obsession by hogwartsbookworm

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 30 Reviews

Arthur Weasley has an obsession. He can’t keep it off his mind. It tinges every thought in his head and consumes his dreams. He can’t concentrate on anything else. His friends, the ones who haven’t given him up as a bad job, tell him he’s crazy and he knows they’re probably right. But that’s not even the worst part. Do you know what the worst part is?

She’s completely oblivious.

…And you thought it was Muggle Studies he was obsessed with.

Comfort and Joy by Luna_Lover

Summary: It's Christmas Eve, 1998, and Harry Potter is throwing a pity party. You could argue that Harry Potter is more justified than most in throwing such a party. Severus Snape, however, would be inclined to disagree with you.

A Christmas Flower by Apollonious

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • 11 Reviews
Summary: It is Christmas Eve, 1998.

Fleur sits alone, reading, in her bedroom at Shell Cottage. All around her, the freezing coastal winds carry snow. Suffering from the sorrow of Fred Weasley's death, and convinced that she is an outsider, Fleur is determined not to join the other Weasleys at the Burrow.

That is, until she is rudely awakened by a visiting spirit.

After all, when one cannot see the joy of Christmas, what one needs most is a little vigilance.

This is Apollonious of Hufflepuff House, with my entry for Prompt 4 of the Christmas' Past, Present, and Future Challenge. Enjoy!

i've read this fic many times before and have just now gotten around to reviewing it- sorry about that! I love how you write each and every maurader! In fact, if you were a J/L person (Which you may be) I would love to see a follow-up chapter where Lily finds the mirror and comes to relize that she loves James, but that's just an idea! I can't stress enough how wonderful this was, and am going now to read more of your work!

Author's Response: Oh wow. Thanks so much! I put a lot into this one emotionally, so it's great when others like it too. X) As for the James/Lily, I am currently writing my longest fic ever about how the two of them fall in love. It's difficult, b/c there is so much frustration and supposed "hatred" between them, ha ha. but I promise it's coming soon!

Many, many thanks to the opaleye and Equinox Chick for their help and inputs! I love Molly Weasley and side-eye people who see her only as a baby-producing machine. If you're one of those people, this might not be the fic for you.

WOW! Your characterization of Molly was wonderful. The part about her seeing the pateint as Fabian made me gasp. Poor Molly! Thanks for a wonderful fic!

Author's Response: I do think that Molly had a tendency to love people too much that she couldn't see them hurting. :( I'm glad you found my characterisation wonderful YAY for that, and thanks for reading and reviewing!
