Right Here by Grimmrook

Summary: My First Fanfic. A songfic based on the song "Right Here" by Staind. At Bill and Fleur's wedding, Ron and Hermione have one last row.

This fic is the true beginning of the Epilogues story arc, and should be the first of my fics that you read. After this story, please read One Good Day. Thank you.

I liked it. I'm a huge Romione fan, and I can so see them kissing like that. All that arguing-it's just sexual tension, and you captured it between then well.

Hogwarts Musical: Chamber of Secrets by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Anyone heard those rumours about a Harry Potter musical?

It better be just like this.

No, but seriously, it's a spoof of the songs from Disney channel's infamous "High School Musical," telling the tale of JK Rowling's infamous "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." (I was dared; I took the challenge.)

You will never see the Basilisk the same way again.

P.S. You may also want to check out my Beatles and Phantom of the Opera spoofs. Just click on my username and it'll take you to my delightfully chaotic author's page.

Pride and Pre-Juiced Plums: A Potter's Pentagon Love Story by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A companion piece to the Potter's Pentagon trilogy... it's better if you've read the Potter's Pentagon trilogy, but you don't necessarily have to.

It's five years after Emma Weasley and her chums graduated from Hogwarts. Ted and Ivy are married, Haley is working at Madame Puddifoot's while trying desperately to break into show business, Jordan's doing whatever it is he does, and Emma is an Auror trainee working as a guard at the Chudley Cannons' stadium. The Cannons have actually been doing much better lately, due to their new star Beater, Tyrone Thomas. Unfortunately, Tyrone is Emma's ex-boyfriend. OH, THE AWKWARDNESS.

Follow Emma through her awkward adventures told in her usual insane way, as she experiences angst, hilarity, obnoxiously strange people, misadventures involving a deceptively dashing cad, Haley's wedding, the birth of Ted and Ivy's baby, and her own eventual descent into LURRRVE.

Written for the marvellous Vindictus Viridian's Pride and Prejudice NEWTs class on the Fanfiction Beta Boards, based on Jane Austen's fantastic novel, "Pride and Prejudice.".

Nominated in the 2008 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Non-Canon Romance Story! And its lovely (haha) heroine, Emma Weasley, received two nominations for Best Female Original Character, while Haley Potter and Ivy Potter each received one! Thanks so much, guys!

I love Potters Pentagon SO MUCH!! I want Emma and Tyrone to finally like each other again... But since this is like Pride and Prejudice, and Emmas obviously Lizzy, then Tyrone is like Mr. Darcy, so they should get together-sorry, can't wait for that part!!! I have read the Potters Pentagon trilogy so many times, and they just get better!!! I like this one the best, however. Great Writing! Keep it up!

Author's Response: HIIIIIIIIIIIIII! Thank you so much. I have a lot of fun with this story... let's just say that it WILL have a happy ending and leave it at that!

My Troubled Tyrant by Belledeg

Rated: Professors • Past Featured Story
Summary: Keedie Dante has experienced many amazing things during her time at Hogwarts, including the hushed up drama that was the Chamber of Secrets. However, with two overachieving friends and a headmaster who does not even know she exists, Keedie feels that perhaps her seventh year will not be too spectacular. However, Dumbeldore sees her potential as a writer and enrols her in a simple writing course. Here, she meets the mysterious and terrifying Tom Riddle and they instantly get under one another's skin. She is drawn to his dark determination towards some unknown goal and he is fascinated by her, in every way. However, Tom's friends do not approve of Keedie and her unconventional ways and Keedie has many people trying to keep her away from the dark young man as well. Something inside tells Keedie that she can make him better, but even he assures her that this is an impossible task. But she's not one to give up easily...

"He is a dark one, Keedie. Try not to let him consume you entirely."

This story has the characters Albus Dumbledore, Armando Dippet, Moaning Myrtle, Rubeus Hagrid, Aaron Dante, Harry Potter, Ebony Abbott, Minerva McGonagall, Melena Creevey, Ollivander, Gregor Holmwood, Horace Slughorn and, of course, Tom Riddle and Keedie Dante...enjoy!

Winner of "Best Romance Between Other Characters" and nominated for "Best Female OC" in the 2009 Quicksilver Quill Awards

Keedie... Interesting name but I think from what I've read so far that it's good for her. I like this story a lot, and I'm glad it's done so I don't have to wait for updates!

By the Duck Pond by jenny b

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Once upon a time, there was a girl called Anna Samuels. She was a red-haired Muggle-born with a penchant for dancing and ducks, and according to Albus Potter, she was the most beautiful girl in the world.

This is the story that Albus wouldn't tell Rose; the story of what happened at Teddy and Victoire's wedding reception.

The Potters had always had a thing for redheads, after all.

Wow. I really love your work, but usually I'm too lazy to log in and review. Not this time! I really like this story, because it explores a little seen character, Lucy. However, being Greek, I have a few quips. Your grammar is a little messy, but most people wouldn't know. I only know because my Greek School teacher was literally insane about those things. Also, ouzo? Sweet? I snuck some of that stuff with my cousins Jason and Irene back when I was eight, and it tasted like acid liqourice. Over all this is a very good story! I'm impressed.

Author's Response: Hahaha! Sorry about those Greek-errors. I did do my research, though, and it told me it was sweet. I apologise for the Greek. I don't speak it at all, but I needed it so I got help from online translators. I know those aren't very reliable, but I didn't have much of a choice. To tell you the truth, I was actually kinda hoping that someone would come along and correct it for me. :D Thanks for leaving the review, though. Sometimes, I get pretty lazy to leave review as well. :/

Black With a Hint of Red by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Love is a very bizarre form of emotion. People can die for it. People can kill for it…

Rose Weasley is in her fifth year at Hogwarts. Love is in the air, but so is exam fever; and Hogwarts is heavy with a weird combination of nervous cheesiness. But isn’t this the story every year? It’s normal. It’s right.

And then everything goes wrong.

A student— Rose’s classmate dies tragically and unexpectedly one day. The death sends shock waves through Rose and her friends, staggering them to a great extent. Furthermore, investigations conducted by Rose’s Uncle Harry reveal a startling piece of information, placing everybody in even more shock. The death is, in fact homicide— and homicide committed by a student. Soon enough, Relationships are strained, faiths are broken and hatred is intensified. That is when Rose realises that she is not prepared to face any of it; and all she craves is for things to be the way they were before the tragedy…

This is a story about how love can make people cross the limits they never knew... a story of how love combined with obsession, deceit and jealousy can be as destructive of hatred.

This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff writing for the 2011 Mysterious May Challenge in the Great Hall, Prompt #2— The Trained Professional. I have moved this story into the next-gen category, because I feel it fits in better there.

Darker than what I usually like, but it's so good I just have to overlook my preferences and take the plunge-and I'm glad I did try this is story. It's fantastic! I love the way you've developed the character of Al-different than he's usually portrayed, but still similar to the stereotype. Also... What is up with Ian? Great plot twists.! :-) :-)

Author's Response: I'm glad you like my story! And Al-- yes, I read through his thread on the character clinic in the Beta Boards and realised how a lot of people tend to place him in Slytherin (and Scorpius in houses other than Slytherin) and I decided to stick with the Al-being-in-Gryffindor plan. As for Ian... awh, the poor fellow! :( Thanks for your review!

The Orange Cat by SaboteurVictory

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: We all know Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger met at Hogwarts, became best friends, saved the world, fell in love, and got married.

But did they really meet for the very first time on the Hogwarts Express, or was there perhaps another moment in time, long forgotten by the time they turned eleven?

It Wasn't the Nargles by IBelieveInNargles

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: This is Luna Lovegood’s sixth year at Hogwarts. Three of the few people she considers her friends are off saving the world, and the school is in ruins with its new management. The world is looking bleak to everyone, even this usually happy-go-lucky girl. The bit of hope that remains in their hearts is the club of students who are still willing to fight for what they believe in, Dumbledore’s army. This is where Luna finds comfort, and where she finds that she’s lost something. No, this time it isn’t her shoes, it’s her heart, and even Luna can see that it wasn’t the nargles.

I like that this is a seventh year fic from Luna's perspective... Very unique, and off to a good start!

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I'm afraid to say that I unfortunately wasn't able to keep with it being just from Luna's perspective, the next part focuses a lot more on Neville, and I imagine that there will be a few Ginny based parts written before I'm through.

Do you have any idea when chapter two will be up?

Author's Response: I'm afraid that it'll probably take a little while! It's been written, but I haven't gotten around to posting it here yet, as I feel as though it is still missing a little something! Hopefully I can get myself in order quickly, then it'll be out of my hands and then perhaps you will be able to see it soon! Thanks for reading!

I really like this story (and all your stories, honestly). I feel that the best fanfiction, especially for HP, should feel like an extension of the books, and yours always always fit the bill. Your characters are always spot on, from their thoughts to their reactions, and I think JKR would approve.

Author's Response: Thanks for your kind words. All I want to do is extend the books, comply with JKRs future as it was when I started (Pottermore may make some of my stuff wrong) and keep the characters in character. JKR gave her characters a happy ending. Im prepared to give them a few bumps along the way, but no more. -N-

The Last Enemy That Shall Be Defeated Is Death by simply_enamored

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What if, on that fateful October night, it was not Lily's sacrifice that saved Harry, but James' sacrifice that saved them both? What if Lily is left to pick up the broken pieces of her life after its been shattered into a million pieces? Who would be there to rescue her? Who would get her through the night? This is a story of loss, of pain, of hopelessness, and ultimately, of healing.

After much deliberation and input from all you guys who have read thus far, I have officially decided to continue this story. It was initially supposed to be a one-shot, but I've decided I already have too much of my heart invested in it to quit now. :) Second chapter in progress. Thanks, all! Wow. This story is a good stand alone piece, true, but it would be an astounding work of chaptered AU. The ending makes me want to know-what would change in Harry's life? What would be the same? Can he still defeat Voldemort in the end? I really think (and hope) you should carry on.

Author's Response: Thanks for your praise, and suggestions. :) I have decided to continue, so any suggestions or advice would be much welcome.
