Summary: I hadn't seen him since I was eleven, but he had a rather distinct look about him. It was hard, after all, to forget that black hair that stuck up in the back and the bright green eyes behind those glasses. And the scar — I had always thought it neat to have a scar shaped like a lightening bolt.
Jane Martin sees the odd, quiet boy she went to primary school with years ago in a jewellery shop and she's shocked to see how much things have changed for the boy with taped glasses and baggy clothes. *one-shot*
Last part was SO CUTE/SAD. Harry and Ginny are darling together, and you captured their relationship perfectly. Lovely. :)
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'm glad you liked it :)
Summary: Hermione waits behind a window. She is waiting for the world to come alive again.
Nominated in the 2010 Quicksilver Quill Awards for Best Canon Romance.
So beautiful. Wonderful, elegant story. :)
Author's Response: Thank you :)
Harry Potter had seen death - a lot of death. Friends had passed in his lifetime, more so than any one person should ever experience, but how much is too much, even for the Chosen One?
Ron Weasley is dead, leaving behind his wife and his best mate. How can these two cope with their Trio being cut down to two? And when danger lurks in the shadows, can they find the strength to fight for one another?
I love how this is simultaneously canon and non-canon; I can't really enjoy a story unless it's believable, and this definitely is (assuming the epilogue never happened of course (; ). Fantastic job!
(love this pairing. cuuttee)
Author's Response: Thank you muchly. I'm glad you like it and can realistically see it happening. I just don't have the heart for Harmony unless Ron is gone and not portrayed as some beast that Hermione could never love. Update coming VERY soon! Thank you for reading and reviewing. :D ~Jess
