My favourite fanfics are romance (Ron/Hermione & James/Lily are my favourites) and humour.
Summary: It’s been a year since the Battle of Hogwarts, and she is still mourning the loss of loved ones. Will the hope ever return? And if so, will she ever heal?
One word describes this story perfectly: Amazing!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Summary: Australia – a land on the other side of the planet, away from the war. Or, at least, that was what Hermione Granger thought when sending her parents there after Obliviating them temporarily. She told them where to go so that she could find them once the war was over, but, when she wants to bring them back, they are no longer there.
Will Hermione find her parents and bring them back to Great Britain, or will she lose the family she tried so hard to save?
This story was very well-written. The prologue was a great idea, as it gave you a sense of suspence before you'd even started reading the main story! I enjoyed the main story a lot, though I would have liked it to be slightly longer! Well done for an excellent read. I can't believe that you only have three reviews of it!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for that fabulous review.
The kitchen at the Burrow has six occupants, Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Molly and Arthur. The youngsters look nervous. Arthur suspects that they are up to something. What is going on inside…
The Mind of Arthur Weasley
Wow! I've never read a story in Arthur's point of view and I never thought I would, but this story left me pleasantly surprised! Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I'm a big fan of Arthur and I have been aver since he told Harry "You're talking to the man who raised the twins." -N-
All I ever wanted to do was fit in and be normal. I wanted friends, a nice boy, marriage and kids, the usual stuff. It wasn’t much to hope for.
Fighting a war can leave scars, and you can't always hide them.
This is Northumbrian of Ravenclaw writing for the Madam Pomfrey One-Shot Triathlon - Round Two: Minor Canon Characters, Prompt 1 (encounter with a mythical creature).
Wow. That was amazing! I love how you've got a new take on Lavender Brown, rather than the giggly sixth-year lots of people write about. This was very interesting!
Author's Response: Thank you. I gave Lavender a hard time both during and after the battle. It will be some time before you know the whole story. There is a sequel to this – Moon. -N-
Summary: The more time passes, the more James falls in love with her. Told in seven scenes, this is how James and Lily became James and Lily. *one-shot*
Well done! A very good read!

It's the Easter holidays, two weeks home from school for the girls, but their boyfriends are both working. The all important NEWT exams are approaching, Hermione's revision schedule is already carefully planned. Will she find time for Ron? What about Harry and Ginny?
I loved this! It's fun,light-hearted and not too long - everything I want in a story! Well done for a brilliant story that made me smile!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Making people smile is something Ron is good at, when he tries. -N-
Summary: "I hate to be the bearer of bad news — but this is war, Evans, and war isn't a big barrel of laughs."
Ten steps to growing up, told in ten moments from the first war. *Two-shot*
This is great! You've written it amazingly, capturing the mood perfectly. Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :)
After it was all said and done, Harry wanted a sandwich. However, Ron knew that what he wanted was far deeper and complex and maddening and insufferable. But could Hermione ever forgive him for leaving her behind? Could he ever forgive himself?
This story was nominated for a 2011 Quicksilver Quill Award: Best Canon Romance.
Really enjoyed reading this! Short, sweet and very romantic :D Too many stories on here are a bit long, so this was a breath of fresh air!
I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for stopping by, and have a lovely day.
Summary: A look at moments of Ron and Hermione's life through the years. The narrative alternates between their two POV.
For those of us that wonder what Ron and Hermione's life would be like through the years.
Enjoying this very much so far.. can't wait for chapter three! Thanks for not including much of a Rose/Scorpius pairing. I love them together, but it's nice for a change!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm kind of nervous now about Chapter 3, I hope I ended the story alright... but thanks for the comments!
From the first time Rose Weasley saw Scorpius Malfoy on the Hogwarts Express, she knew they were fated to be enemies. At least, that was the plan. But as the years went on, she found that it was easier said than done. The gap between who she was and who her family wanted her to be was always widening. Her life becomes a tangled web of mistakes and regrets as she finds herself drawn to the one boy she was told to hate, until finally she makes a choice. A choice that might have just lost her the only one who had always been there for her…
Brilliant! I don't really read Scorpius/Rose, but I really enjoyed this. Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review! I'm so glad you enjoyed it :).
Summary: James and Lily watch from up above as their son asks Cho Chang to the Yule Ball.
Amazing! I loved it! Keep on writing one-shots like this, and I will be a happy girl :D
Author's Response: I'm working on them XD I've almost finished one about Harry and Ginny's first kiss, and I'm in the middle of planning one about Harry meeting Sirius for the first time. If you have any ideas about other ones I should write, just let me know :) ~Midnight Storm
Summary: Four moments from their life that brought them together. This is Dinny's Christmas present for the 2010 Gryffindor Swap. And this is not what J.K.Rowling has been working on, no.
Loved this! Really good. Well done!!
Author's Response: Yay! Glad you liked it.
It is Ginny’s twentieth birthday, and she wants to play a game with Harry.
This was really, really good! I was laughing the whole way through, and I think you captured Ginny in a way I've never read about before. I'm not sure if she'd actually say that type of thing in front of all her brothers, but it does seem like she would want to. Well done for an excellent read!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. This story has proved to be remarkably popular. Everyone seems to like double entendres (or if they don’t, they are keeping quiet). -N-
Summary: Looking forward to a romantic Valentine's Day with his fiancee, Ginny Weasley, Harry finds himself caught up in a truly hideous case with Romilda Vane from the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Department.
Seven men have been accused of inappropriate behaviour with the same girl, and Romilda is sure she knows who is to blame. Is it simple Muggle-baiting, or does the witch concerned have her talons flexed towards an unsuspecting eighth victim?
Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. This is far, far too silly to have come from her quill.
Happy Valentine's Day to all the readers and writers on MNFF.
This story is brilliant! Funny and definitely not what I normally read, though I really enjoyed it. Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you. It was just a bit of fun, so pleased it went down well. ~Carole~
Summary: Love is a very bizarre form of emotion. People can die for it. People can kill for it…
Rose Weasley is in her fifth year at Hogwarts. Love is in the air, but so is exam fever; and Hogwarts is heavy with a weird combination of nervous cheesiness. But isn’t this the story every year? It’s normal. It’s right.
And then everything goes wrong.
A student— Rose’s classmate dies tragically and unexpectedly one day. The death sends shock waves through Rose and her friends, staggering them to a great extent. Furthermore, investigations conducted by Rose’s Uncle Harry reveal a startling piece of information, placing everybody in even more shock. The death is, in fact homicide— and homicide committed by a student. Soon enough, Relationships are strained, faiths are broken and hatred is intensified. That is when Rose realises that she is not prepared to face any of it; and all she craves is for things to be the way they were before the tragedy…
This is a story about how love can make people cross the limits they never knew... a story of how love combined with obsession, deceit and jealousy can be as destructive of hatred.
This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff writing for the 2011 Mysterious May Challenge in the Great Hall, Prompt #2— The Trained Professional. I have moved this story into the next-gen category, because I feel it fits in better there.
This sounds really good so far! I like how you started the chapter with the POV of another character other than Rose,as this made it different to other stories.I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thank you for being the first reviewer for this story! *squees and throws confetti* I'm glad you liked the PoV change. Update coming soon! Take care! :)
